She saw they were doing it illigally without legal consequences for them, so she though she could do the same. She must be nervous now when she realised that legal system might be working after all. Prosecutors were slow but they started to do their job in case of Kakao, thanks to whistblower. In case of MHJ/Hybe the whistblower was one of major stakeholders in Hybe that reported to the management that MHJ is plotting to overtake Ador with Hybe's money, of course. No crime is perfect and sooner or later this arrogant greedy "mother" of NJ will face justice too. In this, or that way. She for sure closed doors for herself in post Hybe era. Who wants the venom snake on their chest? Nobody.

The arrogance of MHJ to expect a prime big display for NJ is astounding. They are a fledgling group in the grand scheme of things and as such should not be accorded the full priviledges that BTS and others deserve. Thanks for this video. Please explain why Kakao is now going to sell SM Entertainment when they appeared to be so aggressive in pursuing SM ownership last year. Does Kakao think that they can make a good profit from the sale? It seems like nothing is good enough for New Jeans/MHJ. It will be interesting to see if she claims mistreatment of New Jeans again at a later date.
KAKAO was well known for buying companies then asset stripping them but I don't think they've managed to asset strip SM and have over stretched themselves too thinly on many fronts so are now trying to withdraw in order to regroup.

Big business is all about money=power so to stay at the top, you have to keep growing, whatever the cost. Executives depend, not just to be promoted but to survive, in generating revenue: new products, catchy advertising, less cost and deals (dirty and bribes are ok until you are found). You can be philanthropic but that's also a way to show off how wealthy you are. TY for educating the public at how cut-throat those places are.
Waiting to see if any link is revealed between Kakao and the MHJ plans.
I don't like the Grammy's but that's hilarious. They offered her the prime spot in terms of publicity at the very front so that they get more exposure but not a bigger spot because they aren't as big as MHJ thinks they are. MHJ probably overplayed her hand trying to get more than they reasonably would by taking a hard line.
The star spot is actually the last one. It's usually the biggest and the real draw so that people have to walk by all the others to get to it.

The letter, representing the British band Shakatak, stated that Bubble Gum infringes on copyright by incorporating Easier Said Than Done without permission. They have requested immediate action, including ceasing the use of Bubble Gum.
Shakatak, an English jazz-funk band formed in 1980 by Bill Sharpe, Nigel Wright, Roger Odell and Keith Winter, also demanded a review of several issues, including halting usage, reporting profits, changing the rights holder, providing a written guarantee, and compensating for damages.
ADOR was urged to take necessary steps to ensure compliance and to inform Wise Music Group directly within a seven-day deadline.
The Source music lawsuit just throws a light on how weird the Korean music scene is. One band debuts before another and people hate on them? Or this bad energy rises to the level of a lawsuit? Maybe some manipulation but I think a company head has the option to delay a debut or try to work the system. This sounds all frivolous.
true this should not even be a problem at all things happen all the time and gets delayed but it´s typical korea to blow these things out of proportion. like the whole issue with mhj people should just have said ok this woman is mad and ignored her but instead it became so big for no reason and the media and haters started to hate on BTS, only then it became a problem for army.

That is because you have no idea about branding and marketing.
This is an important part of creating a new product (or to get something) and to MHJ NJ are only that.
That is what she is technically good at as this was her job at SM Ent. .
She wanted the "first HYBE girlgroup" label badly for HER group. It was supposed to be part of her branding.
Because of the creation of ADOR Le Sserafim debuted first and got that title.
Nevermind that MHJ had stolen Source Music resources and employees while leaving the label without income since GFriend's contract had not been renwed.
Personally I would not be surprised if she helped that little fact along. She did not want older, experienced female Idols that could advice the NJ members and make her hold on them lesser.

It is nothing weird. MHJ said that, because Source Music debuted first Le SSerafim, NJ didn't have the exposure they deserved, as the first gg debuting under HYBE. The reality was that MHJ was supposed to debut the first gg, but under Source Music, they made preparations, they chose the girls, and in the end... MHJ didn't want to debut the gg under Source Music and asked for her company. Then HYBE started to create ADORE, but as a result of that, HYBE couldn't follow the schedule for MHJ gg. In the initial plan, it was supposed that Source Music will debut NJ as their first gg, after MHJ confiscated NJ, Source Music debuted their gg Le SSerafim.
Korean entertainment market it is relatively small and it easily reacting to the bad news, bad comments... bad everything. Many artists, actors can suffer great losses because they can lose advertising contracts, fall in ranking tops and they can drop the sales, all because of the Korean netizens who can go very hard on anyone will be targeted. Until to prove the innocence, the image will be damaged.
Source Music are doing what they should Ms Min accused them of things that they didn't do and it cost Source Music issues because of her lies.
It was ms min's own fault that NJ didn't debut before Source Music's group debuted. She didn't get her legal paperwork sorted in time and agreed to Source Music who were ready to debut their group to debut their group first. However in her big rant in front of camera's she blamed Source Music and HYBE in general. The 2 faced, lair that she is. She then made it even worse by saying the group from Source Music copied her. Which lead to even more hate directed to Source Music's GG and loss of money.

This is a form of fraud, as Kakao knowingly had someone else buy stock, they could not buy, to dissuade HYBE from buying stock at the higher market price. It's the same as insider trading and is illegal and taken seriously in the US, as well. Secondly, they were going to divest SM, etc. at the higher price, for profit. Their other subsidiaries could be subject to investigation . Kakao knowingly doing this is a very big deal, if proven. Hybe dodged a bullet. Now, as for MHJ, she is delusional and a bit unhinged, and New Jeans parents eyes should be open to this. She is destroying everything around her, because of vanity and greed. I feel very sorry for the girls.

MHJ is doing her best to put a distance between NJ and HYBE.
People hated HYBE for neglecting NJ, or putting the group on hiatus, or persecuting the group because of ADORE's CEO. In fact the CEO pulled out NJ from HYBE.
In time, we'll see how much spot NJ earns in the music industry. Many Armys are giving up on following the group. MHJ should know, that the higher you fly the harder you fall, especially when your group didn't use their own wings, NJ were carried by someone stronger than their own talent. Now they need to really, really prove who they are, both NJ and their creator.
My local Walmart sent back all new jeans albums back as no one was buying them, Walmart even but the NJ in the five dollar bins and still no one bought them, Walmart actually had to order extra CDs of BTS solo CDs, extra CDs of seventeen, TXT , Enhypen etc..

Well, she was a former SM employee, and SM is partly owned by Kakao now. If, as it may be, she was a 'sleeper' when HYBE hired her, she may've been in contact with her former company all along.
People with narcissistic tendencies are usually very successful in business. They have the over-confidence and stubbornness to get bigger things for themselves. They are good at pretending to be better than they are and convincing others of that too. That's why there are so many people like that at the top these days.

Hybe acquiring SM never made sense to me, yes they would dominate more of the SK music industry but at this point they have so many groups and umbrella companies they are basically competing with themselves, they are cannibalising their own business. Will very few crossover opportunities being taken. Very little/no collabs etc. There are only so many weeks for no1s or concerts or opportunities and we all know BTS will get the best opportunities from Hybe with 17 coming next.
Hybe had only 11 groups and kakao has 118 subsidiaries and i think it's because sm has control of a lot of media in sk and hybe does not have any media in sk so they cannot promote their groups in sk
