I think the phrasing is the most important here: Her contract apparently says they have to vote for her as CEO at the shareholders' meetings, not that they have to keep her on as CEO. So they *did* vote for her at the shareholders' meeting *but* the board of directors (which is basically the same people in this case 😂) then fired her as CEO at the board of directors' meeting but they did it by giving her another title so they technically didn't fire her, they demoted her. As the shares-part of her contract pertains to the CEO of Ador and she's no longer the CEO, her shares options are therefore void. Basically they found a loophole in her contract and if this holds up in court, and I truly hope it will, I think we just witnessed a change in how CEO contracts are worded in Korea and many other countries going forward. 💜
Someone said that the board of directors kicked her off the board. That means she looses her position since in SK a CEO has to BE on the board of directors and she does not qualify anymore. (maybe it was Seoulite TV?)
I agree that Suga and BTS can take these kinds of attacks but I feel like somehow it'll affect how they behave in public, not just boundaries but also with alot of overthinking as to what or what is not to be said/done which is so sad. I hope they always have supportive, loving, honest and loyal people around them aside from family that'll help then thru anything and everything. Let's continue spreading encouragement and support and stream music.
That's my (2nd) biggest fear, as well. That they will feel even more hyper-vigilant about every little thing they do or say from now on. What little ease they had left in communicating with us will certainly be lost in their caution to never make ripples again.

I previously mentioned Boracity Magazine and Seoulite TV but I'd like to add another channel. If you, Bora and Seoulite are the complementary brains of our ARMY then Nico and the boys at WhatchaGot2Say are the heart. They're mostly a reaction channel but they also, without controversy, make commentary videos when necessary (that can reduce you to tears). They're also hilarious and so informed, especially when it comes to dance expertise. Come On!! It goes without saying, also - Miccylala and Jose Ochoa tv for facts, not fiction.

That contract with Suga and samsung started with his D day tour and album drop, so it's been about a 1.5 yr. My guess is the contract is up and can't be renewed until Suga's discharge from military. When anyone is in Military, they can't earn monies from any other source . everything signed and out in place prior to their entrance to military is ok. Example, Gucci and Jin. I mean, the day he was discharged? LOL.
@brendashelton6146 the Samsung contract is with bts not just Suga so therefore they have not cancelled him. Samsung took down the photos because of the hate comments from antis and also issued a statement to shut down the haters, this is info from someone who has a cousin working for Samsung.

I honestly think the damage they've done should be front and center for any consideration of NJ's future support from Army. When I think of ILLIT debuting under the barrage of defamatory insults and accusations from MHJ, it makes my blood boil. No young group should go through that. These young girls worked hard to debut. They (both ILLIT & LSF) really didn't deserve the hate directed at them because of MHJ and NJ parents, and all the people associated with ADOR (the choreographer and creative director) who accused ILLIT & LSF of various things. And they will be plagued with haters for years to come, which is unfair. NJ & ADOR will have to reap what they sowed.
Respect has to be earned and that's what NJ needs to learn. BangPD doesn't have to acknowledge anyone that walks into Hybe. BTS have worked really hard to get the privileges they get.

I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to "give New Jeans a chance". They've already been given a chance. In fact, they were given more than any other k-pop group in the history of k-pop. Debts forgiven, multi-million dollar pay out after only one year of debut, association with BTS. The person who made that happen was BSH, not MHJ, and they spit in his face because he didn't bow down to them. Well, if they want another chance, this time they're going to have to EARN it. And I don't even know if that's possible. They may be young, but there are a lot of young people who want a fraction of the chance they got, and those young people will be grateful for it (just like BTS was grateful for the opportunities they fought for). ILLIT is young and I don't see them behaving like this, in the face of so much hatred that was spawned by these ADOR folks (hate that will follow them for years to come). Any decent person wouldn't bite the hand that feeds them the way these girls and their families have done. The stickers were the last straw, because it showed a complete lack of respect for their employer, their co-workers and themselves. So, if they end up on the shelf for the next five years, I wont shed a single tear,. They will be treated like anyone else should be treated in this situation.

27:58 Not completely true. Samsung Germany *did* in fact remove Suga's add from their BTS campaign tweets. I haven't heard of any articles on it but I do follow the longterm ARMY who discovered it and has screenshots from when it was up, including her original comment on it. I also personally went to their account to confirm that it wasn't there. What has been unclear is whether it was a national decision by Samsung Germany or an international decision by Samsung headquarters. The other members' pictures stayed up; only Suga's was removed.

And part of MHJ hostile takeover bid was to lead a media campaign against BTS & other HYBE artist to undermine HYBE, so yes fans of BTS and other artists in the HYBE stable, aren't impressed by NJ members, diva and entitled behaviour. They didn't get to where they are on merit or because of MHJ but on connection with BTS and HYBE. MHJ has also lead NJ into a mess with her plagiarism of UK Band Shakatak song. I have never liked the NJ girls from the start and that is not going to change, and it is BS that they are innocent victims, these girls have access to the internet and reports, so to say they were clueless is very naive, remember also Danielle was brought up in Australia so isn't some naive innocent child, teenagers in Australia are very switched on, they aren't sheltered little innocents and know what's what.

I don't blame them for having to obey their CEO in terms of the plagiarism, but I do blame them- and more than them, their parents- for the derogatory attitudes toward both their seniors, BTS, and their juniors, ILLIT. They very deliberately weaponized their fanbase against other HYBE groups, and that's not something I'm willing to let go.
Seoulite seems to have more info this time. The Board didn't renew MHJ contract as a member of the Board of Directors which expires in November. He says under Korean law MHJ can't be CEO if she's not a member of the Board of Directors. Probably using the excuse of all the lawsuits and compensation Hybe has to pay out due to her issues which means she has breached the financial liability portion of her contract. The shareholder agreement is for the CEO and MHJ will no longer be eligible by law to be CEO so that agreement is nullified early (as you said the agreement term expires) and so put option. MHJ is given notice of her dismissal as CEO and the court ratified the end of the shareholder agreement thus MHJ has no leg to stand on. Check and Mate. She can stay on for the next comeback and collect her $2 million annual salary, but we already know/Hybe has said that it's bringing in a Grammy-winning producer for NJ so MHJ won't be needed after next year.
Do not fall for misinformation. They said she was retained as a producer. Unless HYBE said something else about her position, it is likely MHJ spin/manipulation on what she was retained as. She is still going to criminal court.
When I see New Jeans I also see Min Heejin and the connection is not good. I gave them a chance with their last comeback, but their image is terribly connected with Min Heejin's. It's not fun anymore for me. And I don't like New Jeans attitude. They not humble, they complained about BYS not say hello to them but they pretended not see TXT and ILLIT in a music show and they not bowed to them. Not good.

I don’t follow any female Kpop group. Don’t care for their choreography. My ultimate group is BTS. I also follow TXT, P1Harmony. Have attended PTD LV day 3 & 4 concerts, August D, 2 Enhypen concerts 2023 & 2024, TXT, P1Harmony, Ateez and have 2 day concert tickets for Seventeen Chicago concert October 22 & 23. So far nothing can compare with BTS stadium concerts. JK is my ult bias, Suga my bias wrecker. I support all 7 members buying their physical and digital albums and singles. Stream their songs daily. Got tickets to JK’s movie September 18, I AM STILL. ❤
If I'm honest I was just like you 😅 but after seeing MHJ attacking Illit and Le Sserafim, two innocent groups, I started supporting them by listening to their music and leaving good comments on their MVs, they deserve a little support after that greedy woman almost ruined their career. I really like Boracity & your channel. I don't dislike Seoulite TV but personally it's a little too gossipy for me. I think I prefer those who stick more to the evidence & documents. xCeleste is an OG but she is definitely not Boracity lol. Just based on her voice alone there is a difference plus by comparison I think xCeleste especially with videos like her BTS Hardships she can be a little too nice or vague cuz she doesn't want to stir fan wars and I understand it but certain details or context isn't mentioned that I feel needs elaboration (example during the Hardships video when it talked about the reporter asking BTS about plagiarism accusations she failed to mention that the french artist spoke out days after the incident saying he knew nothing about these "plagiarism" accusations that the reporter himself made these accusations out of nowhere and the artist himself said they didn't plagiarism him but he would be happy if his work inspired them) with Boracity she is only army so if she has documents to show it she doesn't blur out the Big 3 companies names and doesn't sugar coat it. She gives her opinions a bit more freely but with receipts to back it up. xCeleste even reacted to Boracity Magazine video "South Korea has a scandal problem" which I'm so glad she did cuz based on her reactions imo she agreed with a lot Boracity said but maybe just doesn't feel as comfortable speaking so plainly on camera about it without getting backlash from other fandoms but Boracity just says "this is an army channel" her videos focus on BTS if your not army or dislike BTS why watch her vids lol.

Just a little note on NewJeans- it used to be that we listened to music because we liked it (and watched MV's when that became a thing) We didn't generally know a lot about the companies managing singers/artists nor often not much about the personal lives of the singers. We didn't need to agree with everything they said or did to enjoy their music. BTS is next level- BTS is a level unto themselves! We are fortunate that we know them as all around great people and we believe, from all we've seen, that the company they work under is ethical in their practices. We love the members as the wonderful people they are, not just for their singing/dancing/songwriting/producing etc. But I feel it's unfair to judge all others against this standard. They are the top, and no one else comes anywhere close. I think (and I'm not alone in this) that NewJean's has put out some great music that is quirky and catchy, and their MV's are quite creative- and I will continue to watch and listen to them as long as they continue to create stuff I enjoy. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. If someone enjoys their music they should feel free to do so without caring about all this drama with the company. If you don't like them or their music, ignore them, but to purposely try to hurt them in any way??? that's not how BTS would handle it, so I srsly doubt that BTS would support anyone being unkind to them. Just walk away. If you think they did hateful/bad things, don't lower yourself to that level, be the bigger person and just walk away.

i think it´s strange how hybe and all the emplyees and the best lawfirm in korea is making it seem like their plan is flawed?.. i mean many people have said it even looked like hybe and the lawfirm was incompetent since all they take to the cort was dismissed. and people think they had some secret plan tp take her out. and this might be it. however it still seem to risky. lets say they loose this in cort and have to pay mhj back all and pay her legal fees too. that would make investors angry that they sacreficed their money on that and hybe shares will fall. and emplyees who is now promised to get those special shares will also be angry.. so they must have a solid plan because right now i can´t see it, it seems a bit to risky. what you think?
another biz strategy: closed down Ador, then NJ is released from their contract. then NJ & MHJ being part of the staff have 2 options: go to the parent co: Source, or be under MHJ new agency*. NJ's trust and loyalty is to MHJ, so i think the latter would be a better option for NJ. *if she's true to her words: that the lawsuit wasn't about $, then hvg her own agency shouldn't be a problem. Twist: SM might say, MHJ you did well. You can have your own sublabel under SM. 😂

I think the phrasing is the most important here: Her contract apparently says they have to vote for her as CEO at the shareholders' meetings, not that they have to keep her on as CEO. So they *did* vote for her at the shareholders' meeting *but* the board of directors (which is basically the same people in this case 😂) then fired her as CEO at the board of directors' meeting but they did it by giving her another title so they technically didn't fire her, they demoted her. As the shares-part of her contract pertains to the CEO of Ador and she's no longer the CEO, her shares options are therefore void.
Basically they found a loophole in her contract and if this holds up in court, and I truly hope it will, I think we just witnessed a change in how CEO contracts are worded in Korea and many other countries going forward.

I agree that Suga and BTS can take these kinds of attacks but I feel like somehow it'll affect how they behave in public, not just boundaries but also with alot of overthinking as to what or what is not to be said/done which is so sad. I hope they always have supportive, loving, honest and loyal people around them aside from family that'll help then thru anything and everything. Let's continue spreading encouragement and support and stream music.
That's my (2nd) biggest fear, as well. That they will feel even more hyper-vigilant about every little thing they do or say from now on. What little ease they had left in communicating with us will certainly be lost in their caution to never make ripples again.

That contract with Suga and samsung started with his D day tour and album drop, so it's been about a 1.5 yr. My guess is the contract is up and can't be renewed until Suga's discharge from military. When anyone is in Military, they can't earn monies from any other source . everything signed and out in place prior to their entrance to military is ok. Example, Gucci and Jin. I mean, the day he was discharged? LOL.

I honestly think the damage they've done should be front and center for any consideration of NJ's future support from Army. When I think of ILLIT debuting under the barrage of defamatory insults and accusations from MHJ, it makes my blood boil. No young group should go through that. These young girls worked hard to debut. They (both ILLIT & LSF) really didn't deserve the hate directed at them because of MHJ and NJ parents, and all the people associated with ADOR (the choreographer and creative director) who accused ILLIT & LSF of various things. And they will be plagued with haters for years to come, which is unfair. NJ & ADOR will have to reap what they sowed.

I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to "give New Jeans a chance". They've already been given a chance. In fact, they were given more than any other k-pop group in the history of k-pop. Debts forgiven, multi-million dollar pay out after only one year of debut, association with BTS. The person who made that happen was BSH, not MHJ, and they spit in his face because he didn't bow down to them. Well, if they want another chance, this time they're going to have to EARN it. And I don't even know if that's possible. They may be young, but there are a lot of young people who want a fraction of the chance they got, and those young people will be grateful for it (just like BTS was grateful for the opportunities they fought for). ILLIT is young and I don't see them behaving like this, in the face of so much hatred that was spawned by these ADOR folks (hate that will follow them for years to come). Any decent person wouldn't bite the hand that feeds them the way these girls and their families have done. The stickers were the last straw, because it showed a complete lack of respect for their employer, their co-workers and themselves. So, if they end up on the shelf for the next five years, I wont shed a single tear,. They will be treated like anyone else should be treated in this situation.

Samsung Germany *did* in fact remove Suga's add from their BTS campaign tweets. I haven't heard of any articles on it but I do follow the longterm ARMY who discovered it and has screenshots from when it was up, including her original comment on it. I also personally went to their account to confirm that it wasn't there. What has been unclear is whether it was a national decision by Samsung Germany or an international decision by Samsung headquarters. The other members' pictures stayed up; only Suga's was removed.

All the money for training, promotion etc came from HYBE the parent Company of Ador, including the penthouse and 5 million dollar salary those entitled brats received. And instead of recognising and thanking HYBE, including HYBE allowing NJ to be marketed as BTS little sisters that saw Army initially support them, and who are the primary reason for their early success they stood up in support of MHJ, who undermined HYBE to drop the share value to try for a hostile take over. And part of MHJ hostile takeover bid was to lead a media campaign against BTS & other HYBE artist to undermine HYBE, so yes fans of BTS and other artists in the HYBE stable, aren't impressed by NJ members, diva and entitled behaviour. They didn't get to where they are on merit or because of MHJ but on connection with BTS and HYBE.
MHJ has also lead NJ into a mess with her plagiarism of UK Band Shakatak song.
I have never liked the NJ girls from the start and that is not going to change, and it is BS that they are innocent victims, these girls have access to the internet and reports, so to say they were clueless is very naive, remember also Danielle was brought up in Australia so isn't some naive innocent child, teenagers in Australia are very switched on, they aren't sheltered little innocents and know what's what.

I don't blame them for having to obey their CEO in terms of the plagiarism, but I do blame them- and more than them, their parents- for the derogatory attitudes toward both their seniors, BTS, and their juniors, ILLIT. They very deliberately weaponized their fanbase against other HYBE groups, and that's not something I'm willing to let go.

Seoulite seems to have more info this time. The Board didn't renew MHJ contract as a member of the Board of Directors which expires in November. He says under Korean law MHJ can't be CEO if she's not a member of the Board of Directors. Probably using the excuse of all the lawsuits and compensation Hybe has to pay out due to her issues which means she has breached the financial liability portion of her contract. The shareholder agreement is for the CEO and MHJ will no longer be eligible by law to be CEO so that agreement is nullified early (as you said the agreement term expires) and so put option. Have attended PTD LV day 3 & 4 concerts, August D, 2 Enhypen concerts 2023 & 2024, TXT, P1Harmony, Ateez and have 2 day concert tickets for Seventeen Chicago concert October 22 & 23. So far nothing can compare with BTS stadium concerts. JK is my ult bias, Suga my bias wrecker. I support all 7 members buying their physical and digital albums and singles. Stream their songs daily. If I'm honest I was just like you 😅 but after seeing MHJ attacking Illit and Le Sserafim, two innocent groups, I started supporting them by listening to their music and leaving good comments on their MVs, they deserve a little support after that greedy woman almost ruined their career. Which is also why I blocked Newjeans on Spotify and all social media. Entitled idols like them will never get my support.

I really like Boracity & your channel. I don't dislike Seoulite TV but personally it's a little too gossipy for me. I think I prefer those who stick more to the evidence & documents. xCeleste is an OG but she is definitely not Boracity lol. Just based on her voice alone there is a difference plus by comparison I think xCeleste especially with videos like her BTS Hardships she can be a little too nice or vague cuz she doesn't want to stir fan wars and I understand it but certain details or context isn't mentioned that I feel needs elaboration (example during the Hardships video when it talked about the reporter asking BTS about plagiarism accusations she failed to mention that the french artist spoke out days after the incident saying he knew nothing about these "plagiarism" accusations that the reporter himself made these accusations out of nowhere and the artist himself said they didn't plagiarism him but he would be happy if his work inspired them) with Boracity she is only army so if she has documents to show it she doesn't blur out the Big 3 companies names and doesn't sugar coat it. She gives her opinions a bit more freely but with receipts to back it up. xCeleste even reacted to Boracity Magazine video "South Korea has a scandal problem" which I'm so glad she did cuz based on her reactions imo she agreed with a lot Boracity said but maybe just doesn't feel as comfortable speaking so plainly on camera about it without getting backlash from other fandoms but Boracity just says "this is an army channel" her videos focus on BTS if your not army or dislike BTS why watch her vids lol.

Just a little note on NewJeans- it used to be that we listened to music because we liked it (and watched MV's when that became a thing) We didn't generally know a lot about the companies managing singers/artists nor often not much about the personal lives of the singers. We didn't need to agree with everything they said or did to enjoy their music. BTS is next level- BTS is a level unto themselves! We are fortunate that we know them as all around great people and we believe, from all we've seen, that the company they work under is ethical in their practices. We love the members as the wonderful people they are, not just for their singing/dancing/songwriting/producing etc. But I feel it's unfair to judge all others against this standard. They are the top, and no one else comes anywhere close. I think (and I'm not alone in this) that NewJean's has put out some great music that is quirky and catchy, and their MV's are quite creative- and I will continue to watch and listen to them as long as they continue to create stuff I enjoy. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. If someone enjoys their music they should feel free to do so without caring about all this drama with the company. If you don't like them or their music, ignore them, but to purposely try to hurt them in any way??? that's not how BTS would handle it, so I srsly doubt that BTS would support anyone being unkind to them. Just walk away. If you think they did hateful/bad things, don't lower yourself to that level, be the bigger person and just walk away.

i think it´s strange how hybe and all the emplyees and the best lawfirm in korea is making it seem like their plan is flawed?.. i mean many people have said it even looked like hybe and the lawfirm was incompetent since all they take to the cort was dismissed. and people think they had some secret plan tp take her out. and this might be it. however it still seem to risky.
lets say they loose this in cort and have to pay mhj back all and pay her legal fees too. that would make investors angry that they sacreficed their money on that and hybe shares will fall. and emplyees who is now promised to get those special shares will also be angry.. so they must have a solid plan because right now i can´t see it, it seems a bit to risky. what you think?

Have you even looked at V from this Era? His looks changed every three months, he was hired at one weight with black hair, he lost weight and dyed his hair several times during this time period. He also gained some height. Bang PD can be forgiven for misidentifing a member who looks so different from the boy who was hired as a trainee
