He appears close to the door, has Orbiter and Jailer affixes, and pursues the closest player, and in addition attacks along with hordes of other Risen Dead

I'm guessing that the survivors could be Gillian, Gillian's grandmother, Garda, Dica and/or Lester the farmer, though I doubt Gillian's grandmother was amongst them considering her age and declining health. A skeleton is located on the ground a few steps from where Gillian used to stand. I'm guessing that it's supposed to be Gillian's skeleton, but I think it could be her grandmother who managed to get outside the house before being killed.
This Quest is Very nostalgic! Its cool how they portrayed Tristram after all these years. Yet they could've done So much more with it. It would have been Great to see Adria shack and even allowed access to 1 of the dungeons 1st level & then find the rest collapsed from the attack or a earthquake possibly.
Honestly that would been more interesting than all of that rocks and tree bs XD It was a always a weird mission that felt too childish for this game, nothing was explained, it was like yeah you can go to tristam by touching some rocks with a paper that tells you the order.. huh?!
Wirt's peg leg is an important piece for a portal. I recommend beating all five acts before attempting to open the portal in town. After all, it is a hard and dangerous Easter Egg.
I love these videos dude. It's cool seeing the quests in detail. When I play these games I'm very quick to skip this stuff by default now, but your narration makes every quest much more interesting to me.
I definitely enjoyed all of the missing quests from diablo that you uploaded. I'm unsure if you can do the same thing for diablo 2, but I'm hopeful! Keep up the good work.

I always wondered why the only road to Dark Wood/Black Marsh/Tamoan Highlands and the Monestary, cut off in Stony Field, forcing the player to go through the Underground Passage. I could never understand why they wouldn't have just cleared a road around or over the hill there. Nice video though.
Also, I dunno if anyone else feels this way, but if the Warcraft universe has Nobbel87 as the go-to for lore, then you would be the Diablo universe's equivalent for me.

If I'm not mistaken, every area in Diablo 2 has at least 1 Superunique! Great video man I am loving your Diablo content. Especially the Diablo 1 content because I never beat that game and don't remember much about it where as Diablo 2 I am pretty sure I know about 97% of everything there is to know about, and Diablo 3 is the exact opposite I know about 3% of everything there is to know about that game. Diablo 1 is probably 50/50.
On a higher difficulty run, that grub demon you fight in the desert (it's been a while) spawned with Lighting, frost aura, and I THINK immunity to physical damage. It was AWFUL. I think I ended up rage quitting that run.

I think Farnham died of his habits long before the demons attacked. His Skelton is bleached and there’s no other signs of struggle or burn marks. He might have had the saddest death, he died when the folks were still alive, and no one noticed.
I love that you talk to the NPC's, but its bugging me knowing that they say different things to different characters lol Was that only for intros or quests too? I know Warriv tells a story on introduction to the Paladin and Gheed tells a story to the necro. I forgot the Hero's say different things during and after quests too
it wasn't the warrior, the D1 warrior became the wanderer and Diablo in D2. The D1 rogue became Blood Raven in D2. The D1 wizard became the guy in the arcane sanctuary. all corrupted and made into foes

I like to theories that my Druid brethren sensed the tragedy that would befall the town of Tristram and inscribed the bark of the tree of Inifuss with magical runes of power to keep it safe from the corruption of the three,but since the Druid character you make only says about the cairn stones that they look like the ones that are common in Scosglen debunks it.

After that would cometh to a land of ancient bovine men in the land of Anguish through a home scroll with the leg within the cube of Horadric design. I could be a Dark Souls character sometimes I swear.

Playing d2r as an adult is nostalgic, but I have to be as efficient as possible with my time. I skip all the dialogue. These videos allow me to experience the game as it was ment to be played in the spurts of free time that I have.
I know you're trying to make this more cinematic and the items are trash anyway, but the lack of seeing the stuff that hits the ground is provoking my OCD. It is Diablo 2 after all.

It was to cross the distance from the Rogue encampment quickly, I believe. Weird macguffin to have a pentagon stone portal to a podunk town
