Hi Samuel, "Tchau" or "Chao" is a very common expression to say bye in many languages. I'm not 100% sure she meant it in Portuguese, or Italian maybe? We need to ask Risa which language is she studying! Paloma Team JapanesePod101.com

Im pretty sure she said Chau :) it means Bye in spanish!
