Hi, I received the racechip today. It has the same engine. I have a question. How long should you wait for the engine cover after locking the car? Did you do anything extra? Best regards
can you rephrase the question as I do not understand it. If you are asking about the time before you can unplug it, I wait until the indicator on the front of the chip is off. That tells me the power to it was cut by the engine.

@@Gani7890 it works by monitoring 7 analog channels. This off course depends on the model you will get. I recommend skipping the low cost one and going for middle or top model. Mine is middle range one but the hardware is the same as the top model. From what I experienced the middle option can be set to give you the performance promised by the top one. My case was exactly this.
@@Gani7890 You got the main point - yes, it's increasing the fuel pressure. I also have Race Chip, and the OBD show a bit more than 1700 bar (and this is not the possible maximum, it is possible to be increased and more), when the maximum on the sleeper cars usually is approximately 1600 bar. It works pretty well (I'm satisfied), but the life of the fuel system will be different. If you're looking for a cheap option just for a bit more dynamic everyday driving, chip boxes are the cheapest one. If you want something serious for real race performance, and especially if you have an expensive car, only remap will help. About the fuel economy, it's a bit something like nothing. In the beginning is possible some small decreasing of the fuel consumption because of the better fog during the injecting with higher pressure if you have an older car (I believe you will not figure out it), but with the time (sooner or later), the result will turn opposite, because of the erosion of the nozzles. If we are talking about the emissions during the HU/TUV... hmmm...

Io ho comprato un racechip RS, installato su una macan 2.0 245cv e sono molto curioso realmente di quanto sia l'aumento. purtroppo non ho la possibilità di testarlo con dynotest.
I would disagree totally. Keep in mind I am not sponsored by any reseller! I did the dyno test just to prove it to myself that it actually works and it does. The chip does give you ~20 % more power depending on the setting. Keep in mind this is my second car with such chip. On the older A4 B7 TFSI the difference was so much that the tires could not hold the car when pushed to the max at start. That older one was first mapped software and it gave the same result as the chip. Then I returned it to stock and put the chip in which I prefer as it is easier to adjust and remove. After all everybody can believe whatever they want but the video and the graphs showed what it actually does.
