Tbh the rules after redaction still have the same meaning, but meaningless, because you are a ghost. They are just trying to be somewhat realistic, do a U-Turn, or reset when noone around.

Well no because they removed the word ‘rejoined’ what Jarno did was legal and would now be illegal.
I mean, there is a reason almost all leagues outright ban the use of reset to track unless you get actually stuck or beached. There is no issue with that, but they literally allow it in their rules and retroactively change the rule, because they realized they are not how they were supposed to be. It´s an absolute joke. Every proper league would not have given him a penalty for this, but change the rules so it gets disallowed for future races. Have you done any league racing yourself?
Heck, even real F1 and basically any sport handles it like that.

Just got to the part where to had oversteer on t3 and I don’t know if you say it later on the vid. But i think they have massively increased dirty air. I noticed it with a friend on online lobbies especially in silverstone. Copse was nowhere near flat on lap 2 but was in lap 4, in 5-lap races

I was actually reading the rules as I was watching, as I had a specific question, and saw that revised rule before you brought it up at the end, haha.
I was wondering if it was explicitly disallowed to open a new instance of the game (or switch platforms) if you were out early in Q1(or 2) to get practice during that downtime.
It's not, but I'd imagine it would be in the future now that I've let the cat out of the bag 😅

Contract issue. One of the companies think the prize pool is too high and not worth the investment, wants to reduce the prize pool.
they cancelled event 2 and 3 for some reason we dont know. its unclear if they'll postpone these events or just cancel them for good

Why the recent change to starting and running with softer compounds? You are the patron saint of starting on hards and tearing the pack to shreds on softs during the final laps. You seem far more likely to make mistakes with the soft to medium strategies compared to the usual hard to soft/medium strats
I’ve also noticed that, a good part of the grid is also starting on softs most of the time
@@willian_boita937 I've noticed that as well but it isn't a completely new thing. With the grid being more bunched up early on, idk if the softer compounds matter as much simce you can just draft and DRS pass, then take advantage of the low eight and high grip towards the end, as well as a large store of ERS, to tear through the front pack that is on older, harder compounds.
Kinda what made Jarno famous, that last few lap charge to the front. Might just be trying out the reverse strat in PSGL to understand it better
In leagues i drive in it's straight up banned. And it is VERY clear in the rules. Resetting to track is in no circumstances allowed

Why wouldn’t you go to hards for the last stint? Just curious, I don’t play F1 and don’t have much knowledge of the game itself. From a noobs perspective the hards were the better option considering they would have had more grip in the long runn
Aim was to have alot of pace in at the start of the stint and the middle in the hope i could somehow hang on in the end to my position.
You don't want to leave too much performance outside of the race.
Having 40% used hards versus 60% used mediums, would likely just mean you've wasted speed early on.
Meaning, he would likely not have been able to get so far up the grid on hards, so instead of defending 8th place, he might instead be fighting on slightly better hards, for 10th.
It's a hard balance you don't necessarily know if it will work out, until later.
MAYBE he could've gotten the same done on hards and have been better equipped to defend or even gain positions in the end. But maybe the hards put him in some traffic he couldn't get through, and is out of the points, because he can't fully utilize the extra tirelife.

He dropped out of the championship due to a stupid glitch during the Canada race where he got a drive through but was clearly under the pit limit speed. Was fighting for the championship and he was super pissed when it happened

It's right that reset to track is banned in any sort of league racing to be honest but rewriting the rules after this incident isn't a great look for them regardless.

I love Jarno, but the rule clearly says you cant reset to track in front of cars. You literally reset in the middle of the whole pack lol you reset in front of like 12 drivers. I don't think being ghosted plays a part in is too because you're mid corner and a ghosted car will put off the other drivers a lot.

Fastest doesn't win championships. Consistency and strategy are key, though Jarno is fast as hell. He won last WOR and PSGL and is leading both of those standings right now

@@Spriby007 yes, when he was complaining about the marbles in this video he was off the racing line. If I remember correctly, most of the previous complaints have to do with the marbles following the AI racing line which is unrealistic
@@Spriby007 Problem is, the "racing line" is where CodeMasters decide it is. NOT where the cars are racing.
There's no simulation going on. Each track has a set racing line judged by CodeMasters themselves, but it is rarely the most optimal line, so the E-sports line is often different, but that means you're going through marbles, because CodeMasters were either lazy or couldn't do a decent simulation without cooking your PC.
Is jarno overrated at this point? Maybe competition has been improved since the old days..
