How can they interview these athletes immediately after a race. Did the interviewers ever hop on a rower.
I would probably bite in that damn microphone

They choose the drag factor as they want? Or is kt fixed ? When i row on the technogym aquafeel i prefer numer 10 to get me in the 1:40. When i reduce to 4 i can just barley make the 1:50. Even is it lighter to row

They choose what they want. Fastest time wins-do it however you want. Concept 2 drag factors are more consistently calibrated than the other manufacturers.

I don't think it matters outside of maybe slower start for harder drag.

Most of the women's times are really bad. several in the 1:50's and one over 2. That's my warm up/distance pace, and I'm NOT a rower.

I just did 1:35 at my local gym completely cold. I can't believe how weak some of the female times are. Had no idea my leisurely row the other day would have been a female world record LOL

I got this rower.... tall is a big advantage... that why all winner are very tall... 6.5 for woman and 6.9 for men... you cant trust those world record.... even if you row like a psycho youre range of motion will not be enough compare with tall person . Real condition in water will show us true record.
