How can they interview these athletes immediately after a race. Did the interviewers ever hop on a rower.
I would probably bite in that damn microphone
Congratulations to the winners.. Very well organised championship..
I cannot wait to get my own Concept 2 rowing machine later this year.
They choose the drag factor as they want? Or is kt fixed ? When i row on the technogym aquafeel i prefer numer 10 to get me in the 1:40. When i reduce to 4 i can just barley make the 1:50. Even is it lighter to row
They choose what they want. Fastest time wins-do it however you want. Concept 2 drag factors are more consistently calibrated than the other manufacturers.
what setting in the machines on in terms of resistance?
Awesome!
What is the drag factor used?
I don't think it matters outside of maybe slower start for harder drag.
Sorry I am a newbie, but what resistance are they pulling at?
Look up "Drag Factor"
@@TGC32 Thanks
What is limit for mens light category?
72kg
@@Hi-kq5rx I was fortunate to have
@@fiber_king2334 the best way to find out is to do a 500m!
Is swimming better than rowing?
no
If you're swimming it's because you fell out of the boat
Yes, when you swim faster than 24 km per hour..😊
Most of the women's times are really bad. several in the 1:50's and one over 2. That's my warm up/distance pace, and I'm NOT a rower.
Thats not very nice
@@donncha1712 But it is very true. I'm just stating facts. I'm not trying to upset anyone or anything, I just expected better.
But you are a man?
@@corbot8817 did i ask
Did anyone ask tho? It doesn’t matter what they pulled-they qualified for the world champs
You need to be tall to get a great time
No u don’t
Not nescessarily, but it is a big advantage.
I just did 1:35 at my local gym completely cold. I can't believe how weak some of the female times are. Had no idea my leisurely row the other day would have been a female world record LOL
the only female world record you beat is age 60-69; the overall record is 1:24.5
I got this rower.... tall is a big advantage... that why all winner are very tall... 6.5 for woman and 6.9 for men... you cant trust those world record.... even if you row like a psycho youre range of motion will not be enough compare with tall person . Real condition in water will show us true record.
Imagine if real athletes entered this sport. Like LeBron James...could crush all these little weasels
just shows you understand nothing about the sport fucking dimwit
Stfu about lebron james
😂😂😂 dumbahh comment
Brian Shaw did 1:14
