If they remove the app called downloader or sideload it’s finish for the fire TV stick Amazon will lose a lot of money
The news coverage of this says they are ditching Andriod for Linux. That's technically truel although not really true. You see Andriod is more or less a fork of Chrome OS; which is itself fork of Gentoo Linux. So when they say they're switching to a Linux based operating system what they really mean is they're switching from one Linux Distribution to another Linux Distrobution. The question is what Distro or For they're basing this new os off? Debian? Ubuntu? Or Arch Linux.

I never owned a Firestick, nor did I ever consider it. These new developments make me further committed to the ecosystem in which I am already fully engaged. I am eagerly waiting for the new Onn Pro streamer and I am already a happy user of the original Onn streamer.

What I'm looking for is whether or not this is going to affect the new Fire sticks coming this fall, or will we see this in the Fire sticks we already have. I do not have any version of the fire stick OS 8, or any of its iterations, at all.
Are there any other streaming services? I have the diresrick and onn (cable replacement tools). The firestick has become a good source if old shows, not much new.

Hey Nathan enjoy your videos. I have a question for you how do the updates affect Hulu as it won't open i get a message that says app not found. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but won't let me. Also I can't remove it from the cloud . Any suggestions. Thanks for your response. I'm using firestick 4k.
Curious do you have and external drive connected to your device that’s the only time I have seen that. Otherwise find the primary device that has Hulu installed on it and uninstall it from that one and see if it removed itself from cloud.
Hi Nathan no external drive. Went on a different firestick and uninstalled Hulu and removed it from cloud and reinstalled back onto firestick no problem. Thanks again.
