Rocks, your whistle is a Kazoo (A kazoo player hums, rather than blows, into the bigger and flattened side of the instrument varies in pitch and loudness with the player's humming) Great find, great price, fun videos . . . God Bless!
I think it is aluminum....Icould kinda tell picking it up....I wish....a silver one would have been awesome. I dug a silver one in a dump that is real nice.
At least I can look for pins now....and have the frame put more in. Just like the dump. It was nice to get this many cheap that are unique so I have a starter collection. I will try and just buy the unique nice ones from now on.....I usually see them in every shop for dirt cheap
Thanks man. I ws trying to think of that....and couldnt at all...hahaha. I hate when that happens. I even thought about it later and it did not come to me then either...hahaha
@@russellpeterson354 Nice. I have been looking for plastic figures to buy....but none that are good. i will try and Rinky dinks Next weekend. i think that is my best shot
I think I better go back there and make sure I did not miss any real cool ones. I like this stuff....I am glad I got it. Now I have a collection that I can show...when i ibuy some more. and I will. I see cool pins like this ALL THE TIME
Some of those older ones they made for Bands and TV shows in the 1970's....I will try and find those. Old Kiss pins from the 1970's.....or Van Halen. Id like that
I lucked out finding those Cynthia. I can go to walmart and get colored felt cut...make these look great. Now I can pick for old pins...add more....for cheap...and show all these again....this is good
Hey Rocks. Neat pin collection there. Like the man and mule set best. I'm going to ask you the same thing I get asked about my diecast collections, silver coins and first day covers among other things I collect, what happens to it after you die? I myself haven't figured it out, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Thanks for showing us Rocks. 😀👍👍🙋♂️
Thanks Rocks. Never thought of it that way before. Great answer. Being 63 years old here, I'll be retiring soon to enjoy my collections while I still can. On my mother's side of the family died in in their late 60s to early 70s. So not many more years to here to go.
That is what I was thinking too....but I wasnt sure. I was thinking after that it may be off a flag top too....but I think it is to heavy...it is solid brass...I like that item. I put that in one of my display cases
There is one pretty cool item there you might of missed. That blue little cardboard token is a ration token from WW2. From what I understand the blue ones are kinda rare. Most have the red ones.
It is in that bag....I have it. I ihave more of them too in other bags.....One bag had like 25. I will probably put them all in one of those binders I got in the pages. I am behind on content. I need to get the video on with the other stuff
Yea.....I am not sure on that item if it is gold or not...probably. In another bag...I got MULTIPLE gold items...and it was $6.00 for the bag. Ear Rings....a gold wedding band.....3 gold pendants...one with a real diamond. I will even have to think about posting the stuff. It may piss off the people selling it. I know the one pendant I could pawn for at least $400 at a pawn shop...those NFL Autograohs...The Ohio State 1925 Ticket....all of that stuff was right in that store for next to nothing...and GOLD
@rockscousteau You did good Rocks. By the way Rocks, I know you sent that you sent that NFL autographs to someone, did he say much to you about that, because I went on his video's and couldn't find anything on that piece you sent him. Very interesting.👍
Very nice finds rock love the case
Thank You. Thanks goodness it is warmer. i am still chilly. I have been cold all day
@ yeah wind makes you chill to the bone
Hello Cyndy, you changed your picture, didn't you? I pray you aren't another Cyndy, lol. God bless you.
@ yes it was time to take Merlin the sheltie down and put a ring of fire sunflower lol how you doing ?
@@cyndybutler7330 Yes, I was correct, I'm doing fine, thank very much. God bless, and I will talk to you later.

I love the display of pins. You find the coolest things to buy and it's inexpensive as well. I love it! ,💖💯
That is why I got those pins. Now I ican just collect them for $1-$3 bucks in the trips each,,,and have all these to show too. This worked out good
Sometimes those old thimbles are also silver. If you didnt already, take a look at the inside.

..... you make ALL your cases into eye pleasing artwork 🤩 !!

That pin is from the Fraternal Order of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah's.
I had no idea on that....looks like it is from about 1915
Great video, like the Kiss Cards and your frame is looking smarter and smarter. Take care and have a great night.
That is a Swiss alpenhorn. Really neat lot of items.
Thanks man. I ws trying to think of that....and couldnt at all...hahaha. I hate when that happens. I even thought about it later and it did not come to me then either...hahaha
I cheated. Some of my toy soldiers carry instruments. My Roman legionnaires carry a cornum, a wild-looking horn instrument.

The display of pins looks so cool! That's cool about finding the sports reporter in all.

Essentially---all of our cool stuff is just "on loan" to us, during our lifetimes. I think about this too, being in retirement years.

American Legion Blue Star pin indicates the family currently has active duty son/daughter serving.🇺🇲🗽🙏
That guy who had those autographs called on me, to get his stuff to the right place. And I did
Great Rocks! May be some rare ones worth some money. You never know.
I think that whistle is actually a kazoo
Yea....like a b-day party prize thing? That was pretty junky looking...LOL
I think the brass eagle might be a lamp finial. The pins case is looking great!

@ awesome Rocks glad you are preserving stuff like that. Keep up the great work
The pin and pendant look to be gold, maybe 10kt. I noticed one of the paper coins holder it came in said gold.
