Wisconsin, Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan State are usually very tough games for tOSU. I’ve learned to never go into those games expecting a blow out win for tOSU because you never know….
AirRaid1196, Mayfield was too good for ya. And the two running backs we had against ya. Give you credit. Cowboys were the hardest team to beat that we won against. Great job against Virginia Tech though. At least something good happened for the state that bowl season.
AirRaid1196 ou can always mark a W on the calendar before bedlam. Appalachian state beating Michigan is more likely to happen then Oklahoma state bearing ou
It HAD to have been LSU because everyone expected them to lose to Clemson, but after the Troy game, Auburn was a good favorite to win and they blew a 20 point lead
Austin Hunt That game didn't have a major affect on their playoff hopes. Auburn was ranked #6 in the nation when they played Alabama who was ranked #1. After Auburn beat Alabama 26-14 in the Iron Bowl they got ranked all the way up to #2 while Alabama got ranked down to #5. Then they had to face Georgia in the SEC Championship who was ranked #6. If Auburn wins, they secure their spot at #2 and faces Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl. If Auburn loses, they get knocked out of the Top 4, end in a bowl game, Oklahoma takes Auburn's spot at #2, while Georgia gets the #3 spot and faces Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl instead. I know I wrote a lot but I just wanted you to know.

JT Barret 18/34 208 passing yards for 3 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, and yet Meyer still never took Barret out and replaced him for Haskins during this game. Not even for one play, Meyer and Barret single handily cost themselves a spot in the playoffs.
Aj green's Biggest fan You're 100% right about that statement. Iowa was the better team, I'm talking about Haskins going in the game during the third quarter to put some points on the board for OSU. If Haskins went in he could've helped Ohio State get blown out by a lesser margin, with Haskins in the game making throws he could've made it a 21 point game instead of a 31 point game. But nope, Urban Meyer goes with JT and OSU gets blown out by 31. I'm not saying that Haskins would've won OSU the game, I'm just saying he would've put up more points for OSU and make the committee take OSU's loss less seriously.

Obi-Wan Kenobi as an Ohio State fan that is a very true statement. But I still think we would’ve been left out even if the loss was by 21. All I can do is give my hat to Iowa. That was a hell of a game plan
Obi-Wan Kenobi It was more so that Ohio State had linebackers out of position all game and forgot how to run the ball on offense. Nick Bosa getting ejected took wind out of the sails too. Iowa executed their plan perfectly.
How would’ve Ohio State done in the Playoff this year?
Pro Sports Central I think they would’ve beaten Clemson, but not Georgia
Pro Sports Central I think they beat Clemson and lose to Georgia
I agree with sports gamer
38-0 loss 😂😂

Kinda crazy that Iowa team with 2 NFL TE’s was only 8-5 and 3rd in the division. Pretty good QB and RB as well 🤔
Need a QB who can actually move the football downfield.

Now Ohio State realizes why Iowa is the toughest place to play in.
Toven RG true. Now shut up because Ohio state beaten you every year for the past several years Michigan sucks
Atleast we didn't give up 55 points against Iowa, & we could've easily put them away in 2 previous seasons but no excuses.

They're not winning a championship for the foreseeable future.

"I dont know what happened. It just escalated so quickly"- Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett
That first play really set the tone for the evening.
Iowa needs to keep those awesome uniforms 🏈🏈🏈 they definitely need to bring those back

Q: Why do Iowans get more cute girls than Ohioans?
A: Because Iowa is the "Hot Guy" State and Ohio is the "Butt Guy" State!
Ladies and gentlemen, give this man a round of applause👏👏. Underrated comment.

Thank you Pro Sports Central!

Welcome to the state of Iowa, where high ranked teams go to die
The thing that sucked about this game is because of conference expansion OSU didn't get a rematch until last year.
The world if Iowa sprinkled in a few creative offensive plays each game rather than a few each season
The game that cost Auburn a 2017 playoff spot

B10 or SEC?
Skins 101 SEC. At least they can manage to get their teams into the playoffs.

That penalty against bosa was BS. Not a fan of either team but that was a horrendous call.
Still can’t believe Iowa put up a 50 burger. I mean everytime I watch them I feel like the final score of the game is 13-6 😂😂😂
Not that I think that it changed anything, but the ref who called and confirmed the targeting on Bosa should be fired.
He didn't confirm it some guys in a booth did
He clearly put his head down before impact. Dirty play!
The targeting call on Bosa was completely bogus. 17-17 with 3 minutes till halftime...that was a game-changer.
I'm thinking 4 OSU picks were the real game-changers.

It wasn't. Iowa was ready to play. Ohio State looked bad. The Iowa D had a couple of busted coverages, but other than that, OSU had nothing.
