We spent an afternoon in this gorgeous village a couple of months ago and fell in love with it. I said to my husband “please can we leave England and move here and start over”. He was pretty enthusiastic but sadly real life has got in the way and we’ll have to make do with visits.
That little village is absolutely stunning, somehow the hanok's don't look out of place with the modern day buildings around it. Kyuho looking very stylish in this video, that jacket looks great on him.
The 3 photos taken by the man captures the relaxed mood of both of you in that kind of ambience. It beautifully shows the non verbal communication both of you had through the smiles, the eye contact , that hand gesture with the right amount of light exposure. Frame one of those up! I think the first one looks the best for me. 2nd one is also good because I see "connection". I think it helps also that both of you were stylishly attired for that day.

That hanok village is so cool! The kimpab looked so good. Kyuho, I love your sweater and cat. Nice haircut too. Sara- the cat whisperer. Lol! Thanks for sharing a slice of Korea with us.
I always get so happy when I see your videos have uploaded! I love the time and care you both take with your neighborhood cats. As a fellow cat parent, it brings my heart a lot of joy to see how well they are being cared for by you and your neighbors. ❤

You have a great gift of sharing the heart and soul of Korea and infusing this with your passions. I especially like your fashion sense and adding the photos taken by the lovely man, what a lovely gesture! It really captured the soul of "2hearts1seoul"

Thank you for showing Eunpyeong village. It's a nice area and less busy and different vibe then Bukchon village. I like the area, but spend most of my time at the two temples near and only a short time in village. The cafe views are nice. Have a good week.

The fact that these building styles are preserved or in effect are still being used for new buildings is so amazing. When I was in Buchon in August this year I felt in love with this architecture. I would love to be able to build something like the Hanok Houses here where I live
I'm currently in Seoul. The weather has gotten chilly. Two weeks before it was T-shirt weather. Glad I came prepared. Eunpyeong Hanok Village will be on my bucket list to visit when I retun to Seoul next year.❤
@@2hearts1seoul I love Korea & have some friends here. Next year will be my 17th trip to Korea. I usually come every year but couldn't come during the last 3- 4 years because of the pandemic. Easier to come this year because we don't need to fill out the KETA form. (coming from the US. :-)
@@2hearts1seoul I hope so. Traditional architecture is great and it'd be nice if it would pop up everywhere instead of in kind of a theme park atmosphere.

yes I watched the bloopers which was why I commented that you are both a really cute couple. REALLY LOVE LOVE LOVE your travel videos within Korea and I hope thatyou continue to produce more of these. I have never heard of Eunpyeong so I will be sure to visit this place when I travel to Seoul next year !
Clever cat getting love from everyone who passes by, my cat would sit on the corner of the street and howl when I went to work, a lady took it on him and asked if he was mine,
those properties are stunning! i wonder if it is too expensive to maintain a traditional hanok, with the type of natural materials and exposed wood I'd love to stay in one if i ever get to travel
We’ve stayed in them in various places in Korea and they are gorgeous. One word of warning though: some have mattresses on the floor but some only have a thin futon which is quite hard on the bones if you’re used to sleeping on a mattress.
I went there a few months ago, during a rather spontaneous one week trip to Seoul. So nice to see these pictures. Really nice place and view. From the village just need to walk for a few meters and you are basically in the national park and there is also a buddhist temple that offers temple stays nearby (and there seems to be anther temple but I didn't manage to find it). There also is a traditional teahouse in the village and I have been talking to the owner for a long time, very nice lady, she can also speak really good english.
Things about darling small towns for you to consider! I am from a very small town (Elk, CA Pop. 150), and went to school (1 1/2 hour bus ride twice a day) in a very famous, artsy coastal town (Mendocino, 150 miles north of San Francisco). Check some pictures out! Why I loved and didn't love...Loved, Really, REALLY beautiful area. Not loved. Everybody knows your business, even if it's WRONG. I was a master at avoiding people knowing anything about me. Rabid about it to the point where I have thought maybe I should see somebody, lol. I don't live there right now and doubt I will again, but I do miss the beauty. As my Mom said, "If you're lucky enough to live here, you're lucky enough!" Loved the redwoods, all the cliffs over the ocean and beaches, distinctive darling towns, up and down the coast, amazing organic foods and parks. Not loved, Really awful traffic following idiots in motor homes who never pull over! We won't talk about the prices of these wonderful houses, lol. This is small town living in a nutshell, each having their own loves and not loves. I loved living in mine and I also was kinda glad to leave. Sigh.
That little village is so cute! I love the architecture! It’s so kind of you to take care of the kitties! :) Stay warm! It has gotten cold again here too.
