Way too cool when I was younger my mom. Drove us through in a 2 door grand prix through a flooded ravine to my grandparent home. Lost car, school book bags ( YES!)as a kid to end up walking out waist high water and picked up on the other end by a physician going to work. I the late 60s and I wish to this day I could thank him or his family. He took care of us and my mom NEVER 2nd guessed (he was a man of color) that he took unto grandmas, treated us and checked on us for at least 2 weeks. Back then and to this day we were taught a person helping in time of need was just that. I have always prayed for that stranger who helped as our vehicle was carried downtrend ravine riverbed.
I’ve have been taught my whole life to never drive through flood water. You don’t know how strong the current is or how deep the water is. That young man was very lucky.
I gave about half my food to someone this summer who was struggling and I stay pretty stocked so it was enough to feed her for a while. Definitely have to take care of each other! Also I finally saw some Alberta license plates today. Haven't seen Canadian plates in so long it made me smile.
I always check my backyard with a flashlight before I let my dog out. Even though I have a 12ft. deer fence that is not a problem to get over for a bear or raccoons. It's pretty quick to do and my dog and I feel the better for it.
Chrome, you can go to a pet store and buy “ pee pads” and you just put them on the floor for him to pee on. Then in a plastic bag and throw away. They don’t leak or smell. I use them in my semi with my dog.. thanks for great vids man.
My dog had dementia the last 4 1/2 years of his life and incontinence was an issue the last couple years. We used both Reusable and disposable pee pads. To get the smell out of his blankets, Tide did not work, but for me Ecos Plus worked (has to be the plus version because it needs to have those enzymes). I bought it at walmart. He was worth every hardship every second.
That waterfall was super pretty. Let me know when you see Sasquatch!!! It's crazy, because at 13:25 , it looks like there is someone or "something" standing next to one of the pines.. Not quite center, a little off to the right. But, I blew it up and realized (at least I think so!!) That it's just the dead part of the pine. But boy, does it look like someone standing there!! Much love, safe travels , always!!!❤ Hugs and cuddles to Cruz!! ❤❤❤
That guy was lucky!! I lost my car in flood waters! It was dark out and by the time I Saw it it was to late! Your so right who could get mad at that sweet face ❤😊
Okay real nice bro! Back in 87 I had a Ford 150 econoline that my Mom's sold me and lived out in the mountains for 5 years... One of the best times was sitting in the rain with a bottle of whiskey listening to "Black Sabbath' Technical ecstasy tape with my Hot little girlfriend... This surely brings back great memories and just might pack up and do it again!! Fun stuff to watch for sure on your channel...
I'm so glad Cruze is feeling better. If you can, soak the towels, blankets, in the extra strength cleaning vinegar and liquid fabric softener before you wash them. It should lift the smell out. Soak them for about 30 minutes. Wash them in hot water. Best of luck. And you are right...nobody could ever be mad at his sweet little face.
Chrome, you can get freeze dried raw food which is great for emergencies or if you don't have the extra freezer space. You just remake it with water. It does take a bit more planning like letting it soak for an hour or making it the day or night before and then storing it in the fridge. Freeze dried can be stored at room temp.
Canadians are some of the nicest people in the world. I worked on the strip in Las Vegas for many years, and all of us agreed that our favorite customer's were the Canadians and Japanese. They never made you feel like a servant, they were thankful and kind to you. It was nice to see so many people willing to help that man get his car out. This is how all people should be. Wishing the best for you and Cruz! Hats off to Canadians!
I agree, it is so heartening to see strangers come together to help. I was watching a video compilation of acts of kindness. I once saw a picture of an overpass with a semi trailer parked in every lane under it. They had been contacted over radio and told that someone suicidal was about to jump off the overpass, so they all came to shorten the fall with their trucks. 🥲
Whidbey Island here...remember Squamish as a child, going for picnics with my Grandparents...they lived in Woodfiber and my grandfather ran the Mill store...a million years ago
I have an older dog that is having some incontinence problems. I use old towels and the thing that gets the smell out for me is dawn platinum and oxyclean. I also use Gain soap. Just a suggestion. Try it and see if it works for you. Cheers 🍻 Love Cruzie Bear 🐻 ❤
It's been raining pretty steady for days and days in Vancouver, but I have to get outside, get my steps in. A Norwegian saying is something like, "there's no bad weather, there's only inappropriate clothing". I kind of enjoy it really.
Last night on Amazon I found a dog blanket that is waterproof! Just an idea! Here is what I just ordered! Rumpl The NanoLoft Puffy Blanket. Water Resistant & Odor Resistant: The ultimate outdoor down-alternative blanket has a DWR coating making it water resistant, odor resistant, and stain resistant. This blanket stops dirt, sand, spilled drinks, pet hair and most everything you throw at it. Another great video! Stay safe you two! 👍🤗🐾🐾
Spooky noises at night or early morning when all the birds suddenly go silent or when something rather big is climbing up your camper stairs Cruzie Bear just needs some time to firm up his muscles. Maybe don't let him drink water after supper? Vancouver Island rain, rain, rain, then some wind and rain and then more rain and wind
Found your channel a few weeks ago been busy catching up love it why don’t you get outside cameras so you don’t have to open door if you hear noises love from uk 🇬🇧
Welcome to the Weirdo Family. I absolutely love binge watching all his videos. Glad you found his channel and cheers from Texas mate. My family immigrated to the US during WWII so I'm a first generation yank-texan
I had a ton of stuff I washed over and over trying to get smoke smell out from a house fire and the magic ticket for me was washing the stuff with blue dawn dish soap and white vinegar. After I did that the smell was completely gone. Don't know if that would work for dog pee smell but its worth a try.
Professional Laundry told me use vanilla extract in the wash to get out house fire smoke from clothes. Works like a charm. Just a small amount & can be imitation. Not sure if works on urine. Enzyme cleaner works for cat from pet supply.
I'm glad the guy was ok. That was freaking scary! It so beautiful there with the snow. I was watching this video with my 4 month old granddaughter and she watched the whole video. I told her that Nana hopes to meet you one day! Much love to you and Cruz ❤
Those guys stuck in the ditch reminded me that sometimes it doesn't pay to get out of bed... On the other hand, you did get a geat video out of it... and they wanted to watch it 🤣
When I saw that stuck SUV, I was thinking, on next episode of Highway Thru Hell. I can't wait for snow to come to Ottawa, Ontario! Fun times driving in the snow!
Ammonia works amazing for smells if you can find it. It smells horrible but it makes your laundry so fresh and gets rid of smells including musty towels. Be safe out there. Cruzie is as adorable as ever.
You might try Nature's Miracle. I buy a gallon jug and a spray bottle version and just refill it. I have a 110 pound German Shepherd and when he's sick he's had a few accidents. It seems to get all stains and smells out. I hope that helps, Chrome.
I use coffee to get the smell out of laundry. I keep left over already brewed coffee and I pour it in at the start of the wash. I also use already used coffee grounds when my hands smell from cutting up onipn or garlic. I rub the grounds on my hands then I wash them and the smell is gone. This also works for cutting boards.
Try and limit any water after7pm - a last pee break prior to your bedtime may help Cruzie with his little accidents - all the water he wants all day, when you are alert. As long as the vet says that is ok though.
Just a towing tip - hook the tow rope/cable to the low side when trying to winch or tow a stuck vehicle. It works much better than trying to pull someone out using the high side
Omg nerves of steel, so nice everyone helping the young guy get his car out the water bless hope he got back OK, I'm sitting on edge of my seat here, like a horror movie, glad all those guys were there and you n cruz settled down fir the night love your vlogs, like film night for me, your all living my dream, I live my life through yours, lovely to see you n cruz happy, he loves his daddy, thanks for the experience so enjoy these, stay safe guys 👍📸
Get some puppy potty pads and let him sleep on his bed on the floor. This issue will probably contine for awhile because of inflammation. Poor Cruzy Bear.
One of your best videos yet. That's what I was talking about, Super Duty Owners Group, we rescue people all the time and love doing it. Loved seeing the rescue...... that poor guy's Toyota lol
In the mock-umentary movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy", the leading character has a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle with a winch to get out of trouble. When he got stuck, he looped the winch line over a tree limb, started the winch, got distracted and came back to find the vehicle hanging 10 feet off the ground. 😁 A very funny movie!
I use Nature's Miracle Advanced stain & odor eliminator. You can get it from a pet store (red bottle). It works with both liquid and solid problems from the dogs. Spray it on the area or pour some in with regular laundry detergent when you wash the sheets; it will smell great. The spray works on the floor too since it illuminates any pet's markings. Hope this helps.
Dawn and hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle 1-9 ratio. Mix slowly and do a test patch. If you soak the spot until dry then soak in warm water to dilute the dawn; then wash! It's worked for my husband's unfixed male dog who pees on things when he doesn't get his way (don't ask he's lacking braincells). Hope it helps you!
I live on the second floor, in a small apartment. Both of my dogs…a 14yo little white Chihuahua, and a mostly black small Terrier mix… are trained to go outside, or on pads…I put them in a large tray…made for the purpose… Workscwell for me, as there are mornings when I they need to go before I can get dressed… Wee wee pads are great… I put them in their own sorcial trash can. Accidents get treated with Ixycoean …andcDawn. or Mr. Clean. Our Cruzy is definitely worth the extra work… He’s so adorable… 💜

I then buy Poise pads for female incontinence - the thin pads, a #5, Turquoise colored box (or perhaps #6 in Cruzey's case). I have small Yorkies, so I cut the pads in half & tape the raw ends. Just line the belly band with the pad. EZ PZ. They work great. Rarely have a leak. They sleep in my bed every night. So glad Cruze is recovering well - he has a great dad!
My dog had problems. I went and brought pampers for dogs. You might want to look into it. The vinegar and baking soda need to let it soak For a while. Then wash. Hope Cruz continues to heal well. Blessings. 🙏😊🥰
I was camping in the National Forrest a few days ago. Not going to lie I was 😱. I was the only one around for miles. You’re right more scared of wild animals vs people. Lol. Stay safe Chrome! Love your videos. 🤗💕

When you had the flashlight 🔦 out I had to take a screenshot and enlarge it cause it looked like a person out there. But it’s just the wooden sign. Lol. I know I wasn’t the only wondering 💭 what that was. It’s a sign. Lol. Love ya Crome! Keep up the great videos.
We have giant rulers on the places that flood a lot here. They are yellow and measure how many feet of water there is in the underpass. You guys helping each other reminds me of winter in the Midwest.
Smells? Yellow mustard. It works amazingly well! I’ve read they even use it to get skunk smell out of cars. I use it for my canning jars after i can tuna… it works! Eta: don’t squirt it directly on the fabric or it will stain. Dissolve it first…
Chrome, Lysol laundry sanitizer takes out pretty much all smells from fabrics and isn't expensive, it even took out skunk smell from my son's shirt. It's usually found with laundry products in most stores.
I was relieved once you finally closed that door!If I’m in the woods & hear noises…no way I’m getting out that van & looking around lol

Absolutely love that Chrome hopped right up in ole boys truck to get video for us. What a guy! 💚
One of my favorite camping channels most show themsevles cooking and going to bed!
That could have ended a whole lot worse for that poor guy.
Propalen works unbelievably well it works
