    Why do commentators always trial the top of the range cars.why dont they do basic car specs occasionally

    Is there a movable boot floor to bring it level with the seats, if the latter are folded down, to eliminate the step? It shouldn't cost too much to include one, even as an option, but it would make the car a lot more practical.

    • @cinch
      @cinch  6 месяцев назад

      We actually learned after this shoot that there will be an optional floor addition 😁 Are you a dog owner?

      @@cinch I am not, but if I have to transport, say, a big and heavy appliance and I need to fold the rear seats, I don't want to lift something heavy to push it over a step as big as the one I see in the video. I'm not fit as I... ...have never been to begin with.

    • @cinch
      @cinch  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@bullcompost that's a good point. And something we'll absolutely aim to test when we get a car in Britain. We'd like to see if the optional extra floor will be strong enough for such a scenario... 🕵‍♂

    All petrol cars have same wing mirror noise, you just dont notice it because of the engine noise, so outside noises will be more noticeable in EVs. I hope they will in next gen give you, like ringtones, engine tones, from a Ferrari to a diesel HGV or ones you can make up yourself, dogs barking, birdsong, whatever.

  • @Soulboy63

    Back seats don't fold flat , I guess due to battery under

    Ordered this today in the mid range Alpine which imo is better than the top spec Iconic. The main one being the seats & wheels

    • @sniparr9474
      @sniparr9474 22 дня назад

      The Iconic has all of the spec of the Alpine and much more, including the panoramic roof. The wheels are different on the Iconic to increase battery range by 20 miles. The Iconic interior is light and spacious, the Alpine is dark with splashes of blue everywhere which makes it feels more cramped (even though it's not). Sat in and driven both, Iconic was much better in my opinion, however like anything it's personal preference. Still an excellent car, can't wait to receive mine soon. Happy driving.

    • @mrm5183
      @mrm5183 22 дня назад

      @@sniparr9474 Iv had mine a week now and can say I’m more than happy. I agree it’s personal preference but the wheels looking way better on the Alpine is worth sacrificing 20 miles. As for the interior the Alpine seats and all round is better. But for me is the colour. I have matte grey which you can’t get in the Iconic only the Alpine and is phenomenal. If you see a matte shadow grey in the flesh you will see what I mean. The pan roof isn’t a huge miss in England, the rear view mirror can hardly anyone uses. So the only thing I would say it’s missing is the 360 cam. But enjoy the car which ever one you’re getting

    Isnt the scenic name ,a bit confusing as scenic was a people carrier type for maybe 2 decades, but this a suv style . Be honest with you this is a ev upmarket £ 42,000 replacement Kadjar . Even the dimensions are virtually the same , sadly not the insurance category , be double or treble the original kadjar.

    I'm getting Skoda Superb 2.0 tsi 190hp for 30 000 euro. Hell no I'm going to pay for a Renault 50 000 euro. For me to even consider this car it should be cheaper than the superb

    • @didierpuzenat7280
      @didierpuzenat7280 6 месяцев назад +6

      The Scenic starts at 40 k€ (and even 35 k€ in France with incentives, of even 32 k€ if your are "poor") and cheaper electric cars include the Renault Mégane. Furthermore, the "Skoda Superb 2.0 tsi 190hp" price does not include 15 years of fuel, maintenance, repairs, (...) that will cost far more than the equivalent for an EV. Finally, a quick Google search about your Skoda gives prices starting at 40 k€, so I do not understand, do you mean a second hand car ?

      I'm doing 55 000km per year so after 3 year the battery car going to be a trash and very heavily depreciated.
      This Renault is losing value even when it's new in the shop because nobody is buying them.
      So there you go your fuel saving. The petrol car going to keep it's value better for 3 years.

      @@dantebg100 If you are driving 55 000 km per year you are a fool not to drive electric, or maybe fuel is subsidize in Bulgaria but in serious countries fuel is heavily taxed to discourage people to pollute and contribute to climate warming. Not to mention the danger of a population addicted to fuel while costs are going to rise quite fast. BTW, a modern LFP battery will easily last more than 500 000 km. BTW, my EV is 6 years old and it has never needed any service or maintenance. Your information are wrong on every level no wonder you are getting ICE car...
