This is why child hood and growing up is the most crucial part of life. Just because he had a rich life does not give him proper love from his parents, friends and most importantly himself. There is no doubt he has sever mental health mostly depression and suicidal and of course the anger that came from him did not come from a place of actual anger it came from a place of hurt. I am not saying what he did was right, it was a very awful and terrible selfish thing of him to do. However it's so important for us as humans to understand that LOVE is the number one thing a person needs to be mindfully and consciously HEALTHY. It had nothing to actually do with sex, it honestly had to do with his anger and emotions with the idea of rejection and the biggest of all ' NOT FEELING GOOD ENOUGH FOR ANYONE" that includes himself. In the end it was not only HIS fault. Life is a gift yes but it's very hard for a depressed and alienated person to see that. He suppressed so much emotions that he blew up, creating this "mass murder". Elliot was a guy and majority of us around the world are only seeing one side of him which was the very hurt and terribly sad side of elliot. I am almost 1000% sure he could have solved and fixed all of this if he grew up getting proper love and NOT from WOMEN. but from HIMSELF and his parents and his friends. What he did was a result in why children need to be raised properly all this materialistic crap and bullshit does not give a human what they ACTUALLY NEED. They need to not be neglected and suppressed within themselves. They need proper affection, attention (in neutral ways) and of course self fulfilling love. This was yet a boy who didn't grow up with all the things he really did need and yea what he did was horrible and I do not agree with it at all not one smudge, however I will say the cause of this has nothing to do with him being some "American as swipe" it goes much deeper and we as a society need to also learn how social standards also pose women as items not ALL men do this believe me but it's out there as an expectation. Point is one will drive to insanity if they cannot get emotional love and acceptance. This is a lesson we all go through and learn not the insanity part but us realizing that love and childhood is the most crucial time in our lives, in order for us to develop and understanding of ones true self's character.

Only lesson to learn from this; when your child whines too much, don't spoil them to think that's all they need to do to fix their problems. They need to be strong enough to learn from their mistakes on their own.

Most likely because it wasn't just about sex. He wanted a relationship but he was not fit for one due to mental issues and that he was a narcissist. I've been studying Elliot's case because of my interest in human behavior, watched re-posts of his YT videos and his comments on forums that he was on, his manifesto, letters written between him and his family, this guy was a total narcissist, a true scumbag.
