Be careful! You won't be able to catch any Shiny Pokemon you find if you wander off too far. There's no way to enter a battle, and if you quit syncing, it despawns if you're not close by. I already lost a shiny Alolan Geodude 😅

I used Eternatus and he was so fast. I don’t know if it’s faster than rayquaza but it’s fun zooming around the place as a fast flying Pokemon.
Try regular kyurem it's so goofy looking and fast

Latias/Latios are also very fast gliding/hovering Synchro mons, definitely don't have the size and presence of Eternatus or Rayquaza. But they actually at least follow the pokedex logic a bit.

This feels like a sort of tech demo for a feature for the next game and I'm kinda hype to see if it turns into a more in depth core system. Like using different sizes or types of pokemon to sneak through small spaces to open doors or jump over obstacles or fly over gaps. Almost like how pokemon ranger works but using your actual team members and not just borrowed wild pokemon.

Lugia can fly and swim like he does in the movie and I almost died of happiness but this really makes me wish onix was in the game so much more

Same. I had another situation with Slaking as well when I was messing around with the auto battle feature he booked it halfway across the Terarium.
Running/Sliding as a kingambit is absolutely hilarious
That's the only thing keeping him from overtaking bisharp as my favorite pokemon
I think that fact just makes me like Gambit more, I remember during base game getting Gambit and seeing it essentially roll/slide around like it's on a segway just made me laugh so hard.
Metagross is AMAZING fun! It hovers and flies, but then can drop onto four legs and clamber around.

I think Inteleon is just as fast or slightly faster than ceruledge, I timed getting from one point to another and Inteleon was a few seconds faster.

Cinderace and Garchomp are my two favorites rn. Cinderace is CRAZY fast, and Garchomp uses its flying animation, which not only look cool, but lets you hover.
For those that don’t know, u can land with him and walk like normal on land with him and other flying Pokémon like charizard and solgaleo as well

Metagross has a hover form that you can switch back and forth into tank form. It's very slow, but, damned satisfying to stomp up to pokemon and crush them. >:D

Then there's Kyurem, who's way too fast for what he is. Pretty terrifying.
I haven't tested it with Kyurem yet, but Altered Giratina and Dialga are frighteningly fast as well.

The synchro feature is a cool idea that feels like they didn't get time to fully develop it.
Like, i wish there was more utility to it, or that i could engage in a battle with a wild Pokemon and call over the trainer in the event of a shiny or something.
Or at least let me look at my BBQ tracker while in synchro mode!

If anyone is wondering I’ve tested most Pokémon that can glide and the fastest of those so far have been Latios, garchomp and solgaleo (including when fused) with a nearly identical speed through my tests
Edit: rayquaza is the same speed as well my friend just screwed up while racing so I thought he was slow
Latias I imagine would be same speed as her brother obviously, but still. The two being as fast as they are makes sense, as the dex for those two love to mention how they can keep up with jets.

I got 6 shinies caught in one day. This is a non-issue, to me.
Just go to an outbreak then activate the synchro machine. Easy win.
You're not losing shinies. If a shiny spawns while you're using synchro, yeah you're never gonna be able to catch it, but if you weren't using synchro it never would've spawned in the first place. Shiny spawn rates are independent of each other, so a shiny spawning doesn't lower the chances of any other shiny spawning. Just pretend it's not there.

If only Mega Rayquaza was a thing in Gen 9. That would make a bonus prize and a Pokémon that will Dragon Ascent that cocky jerky Kieran with just one hit, because getting beaten by one hit Dragon Ascent from a Mega Rayquaza will really mess with that big ego of his. Even if he has type advantage, Rayquaza will destroy him quicker than even his own Extreme speed!
Also fun fact, Rayquaza is my favorite legendary Pokémon

I personally think okidogi is a cool one due to an attack he has where he uses his maligment chain [named based off pecharunts move] to whip things
I don't have every legendary in SV yet, but as far as I can tell, Eternatus is the fastest Pokémon. Nearly keeps up with running Koraidon/Miraidon and it can keep up when going down a slope for some reason. Also it can fit in the small caves that sometimes hold items even though it doesn't look like it should. For any fellow huge SoulSilver/Lugia fans, you can swim as Lugia and it does the SoulSilver menu animation! Also with any Pokémon, you can press down on the stick to make them move a bit faster.

@@lucifermorningstar8562 correction, when they revealed the dlc for the first time they actually stated that the first dlc for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is called The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and that it is split into two parts the Teal Mask and the Indigo Disc therefore the Indigo Disc is still part of dlc1. If you don't believe me, find the first dlc reveal trailer on RUclips and see for yourself.

Not the fastest at all but isn’t slow and it certainly gives you that “surfing feel” like u rly feel like he’s surfing especially when u make turns and that’s what I like about it
I can confirm that Bloodmoon Ursaluna is fun to use with the Synchro Machine. I named mine Sanguine, because I won't let Freddy come back to haunt me.

I love running around as Ogerpon, Garchomp is funny cuz it’s a mix of the flying Pokémon point and the fast Pokémon point, it lets me fly around as a heat seeking missile
