Poof, your Wii remotes are going bonkers. Which is why you're struggling so much. The cursor should be smooth and constant. Yours are glitchy and flashing, and they'll be like that in games where you can't see a cursor as well. Which means it's harder to play. There's a few things you can try to fix it. Move farther or closer to the sensor bar until it stabilizes. Clean the sensor bar if it has any marks on it. Check for an infrared interference, which could be anything. An open curtain letting in too much light. A bright TV or monitor, lights too close to the sensor. Calibrate the Wii remotes every time you turn on the Wii or start up a game. Set it sideways to the TV during the calibration test, in the spot where you'd be playing from, face down for 10 seconds. Then point it straight at the TV and see if it's correct.
