    Please let me know your thoughts! I love to hear how you experience my videos, and what you think of the content, as here, developing juniperus from cuttings!
    This video is one in a series of video's I have done working on Juniper bonsai. If you are interested specifically in juniperus, I have a playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLci6b9GxmP3WuEha6K4x00iEp7-0R_rV_
    In the video I mention another video on developing juniper stock, which can be found here: ruclips.net/video/OhxavV9ZgoM/видео.html
    As always, please share the video, subscribe to the channel or like the video.

      @@GrowingBonsai Trying our hand at growing/nurturing these and other tree species. Nothing massive. Just finding new seedlings, retrieving them, then planting in an applicable medium and growing them for future design/shape into a bonsai. Many are now in grouping/forest settings. Liking your videos. Keep them coming.

      @@jeffhurst4744 Thank you! I have a few videos planned, but thinking about tossing the material. My last videos were not well0-received and I think I need to rethink the videos. :)
      Might end up having a gap for a few weeks while I do that. (Or I might just post the videos that I doubt are any interesting anyway!)

      @@GrowingBonsai Not well received. Hmm, interesting. Admit - I have not viewed all or most of them. Getting to them and other RUclips topics of interest to me. SO - Thus far, they have been well thought out, concise and to the point, along with reasons for what to do/not do, aspects to lookout for, and to consider your climate zone in the topics/trees you are presenting.

    Excellent video. I like that you left in the wiring problem you had as I have done the same thing many times and figured it was a newbie error as I'm only just over a year into bonsai. Keep up the great work and your useful and considered commentary. I appreciate you leaving in everything you do and also speeding parts up 😊

    Very nice video! really enjoyed it and the tip about twisting the trunk is definitely something I will start doing. What variety of juniper is this?

      thanks for the feedback! This is Juniperus chinensis 'ittoigawa' so, chinese juniper!

    • @TonysBonsai
      @TonysBonsai 2 года назад +1

      I thought it looked nice. We just can't get itoigawa over here in the UK unless I buy an old expensive bonsai.
      I looked into buying some from the Netherlands a few weeks ago, but I would have to buy a permit for £150 on to of shipping so it wasn't possible.
      I'll look forward to following these junipers and seeing hoe they develop!

      Hi Tony, if you ask around, I know people have ittoigawa in the UK. You can probably get a whole bunch of cuttings if you ask nicely. THese root from cuttings really well, and, once rooted and established, grow pretty good too.

      @TonysBonsai 2 года назад +2

      yes, people definitely have them, but there is nothing available for sale even from the commercial nurseries, and I don't really know anyone local who's into bonsai, but it's no big deal really. I'll get some eventually I'm sure!

    Hi Jelle.
    I’d like to know, in other video you shown more cuttings in one pot.
    So what about these lonely ones.
    What is the process? Do you leave them like for one year on the same pot and then repotting all the good ones on their single pot?

    • @GrowingBonsai
      @GrowingBonsai  Год назад

      I normally fill a pot when I do a big prune. I have a crate with a mesh over it where I put the pot. Once a year in spring I empty all pots and plant the rooted ones individually
