I legit almost lost it when a neighbor took our cat to a vet, thinking she found an emaciated cat needing emergency care (she was 19 years old and just scraggly looking). Luckily we found where she ended up being taken in by some well meaning people that saved her from the pound, my idiot neighbor could have killed her just by keeping her away from her medication for too long

I refuse to cry about it
The second story was extremely heartbreaking for me. My mother has early-onset Alzheimer's disease and will slowly forget everything. She was never a good mother; she never played with me or took me out for fun. She was always gloomy, obsessive, very strict, and she always scared me by telling me that she would kill herself if I didn't obey her when I was only four years old. I was always alone at home until I turned seven years old and had no friends. Despite this, my sisters and I loved her dearly as children. But as I grew older, I realized how different she was from other mothers and how she shaped me into who I am. Slowly, my love turned into hatred, and I hate her and what she has made of me. But now she's slowly forgetting everything, and my desire to make her happy, have a good relationship with her, and create a better life is being destroyed.
The roles have changed. Now she is going to be helpless and you are going to have all the power. Use it well.

The fact that this actually had me tearing up is impressive. Then that goofy outro music came on and it was all over.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
@@THECHEESELORD69especially since the tree passes on the apples’ actions 😢
That's how cycles of abuse work, more often than not you become the next link in the chain. It's a vicious cycle that perpetuates indefinitely unless you end it with you, otherwise it just passes on to the next generation.
There are two phrases that come to mind.
The apple does not fall far from the tree.
The sins of the father.
@@InnocuousInnuendo That is why the topic of mental health is so important, because no matter how well you might be physically, because of mental scars due to abuse or negligence, it can become hard to break out of a bad habit, or get out of a living hell like that, and if you are on your own like a lot of people are, it would be like playing Dark Souls but with just 1 hand, its still a possibility to beat the game, but the difficulty is so high that it becomes a bar most folks cannot overcome, and that might be one of the saddest realities to life, but its why everyone must become strong and be able to have the fortitude to beat their battles, because the disadvantage of seeking help from other people to overcome difficulties, is that you learn to rely on them and its why true strength has to come from within, but a lot of people do not know how to healthily seek help and then learn to do it on your own, and I blame the current education system for it, which clearly only focuses on academics, and do not provide relief nor sufficient help for people coming from broken families, which is why I wish that mental health became a subject to teach in school, and that government assistance wasn't as relaxed, since a lot of abusive people take advantage of the current systems to basically become parasites, and then they teach their children to follow their example, which is why we have a never ending cycle.
Escaping the cycle almost requires intentional effort - but with intentional effort it's not at all unlikely to succeed.
But if you don't know about the risk of perpetuating the cycle, it might never strike someone to go out of their way to avoid perpetuating it.
God the crash scene felt so real. Everything from the car being all crumpled up, the drunk driver swerving all over the place, and especially the Dad and Karen screaming after the crash and the blood all over the interior of the car. It all felt too realistic to be an animation. It's always the innocent people who die in DUI accidents.

You guys are the Adam Sandler of RUclips. You guys usually make the funniest things I've ever seen but then you can make something that hits you right in the feels and written amazingly and I love you guys for that.
Don’t think I can make it past the title card, this short reminded me too much of my dog Rusty. When he was 12, he had drank some irrigation water (dumbass ranchers pouring their shit in my yard) and developed liver cancer from the water. He looked yellow as opposed to his brown and white coat of fur, it broke my heart, so we took him to a vet in Boise, ID a couple hundred miles from our home. After about a week, they gave us a call stating that they removed the cancerous cells at the cost of accidentally poking a hole in his lung. My dad and I were furious, we went back and forth with the vet and we refused to pay for their incompetence, but were forced to (otherwise we’d be sued, how funny is that?), and we took Rusty home that day. I held onto him for the whole drive, and throughout the night we took him to a local vet to get his lungs pumped properly, and he even knew that Rusty had little time. So that night, he slept in my dad’s room, where in the following early morning Rusty got my dad up, and scratched at the door to go outside. My dad took him out and he walked over to the shop next door, continued scratching the door (never has done this before) until my dad let him inside, where he walked up to our furnace. He laid down in front of it, my dad petting his fur, and passed away once the morning sun rose up. This short reminded me too much about him, and I miss Rusty to this day, he guarded me when no one else was there. I love and miss him along with all the other animals that have come and gone in my life, I just hope they’re in a special place with no pain or suffering. Damn the people who say animals don’t have souls, they are the ones who are soulless.
I won't tell my story...
I'm just gonna say, I HAD to keep watching after the first clip just to... get it out of my head.
I fully believe they crossed an emotional line there. Sexual abuse portrayed in such a realistic way (as the first one) would be another topic. Few subjects in life are actually that sensitive.
I'm all for fucked up comedy, that's why I clicked. But again, that was crossing a line.
That sucks. The amount of BS from other people like the vet and ranchers is absurd.
Well, this is what i'd call a depressing comment 😢
Even from a Sims prospective, you can add a pet’s ghost to the household just as you can a person’s. Why? Because humans aren’t the only animals with souls! The reason servos couldn’t is because they were computers. But most dogs, even many cats, deeply care about us. They’re there for us when we’re sad, when we’re alone, when we’re stressed… They’re always there for us. That’s why they’re so much better than us!
That is a beautiful message here. I hope you're doing well bro ❤

hello brian
you ever watch something thinking "yeah, that'll be fine" and quickly realise you weren't ready for it?....
yeah...
This is art in its purest form. Raw emotion you not only see, but feel deep within you and changes the way you see things. As sad as I know some have felt after seeing this, I know most of you will feel happiness after. And those that don't feel the happiness afterwards or don't understand how something so sad could bring them happiness, just know this. Its the saddest points in our lives that gives our happiness value. Cherish all that you have, even if its nothing. For a thief cannot take what you dont have. Love those that have helped you through life, even in the worst of times. For when they oass, they will leave you with every ounce of strength they had. I lost my mother not too long ago. Despite her never being around much, being caught up in drugs and alcohol, and every man she got with making my life hell, I still had as much love for her as hate. And when she passed, I mourned for her death. She left me with strength and power I will always cherish. The ability to shut down any mom joke. And now im half way to becoming Batman
