Hello, what beautiful country! Ive never been to the black hills. I just subscribed! Loved the video! Gonna ring the bell. God bless you. Thanks. Your new friend and fan, Kevin
Just came home from a trip out there. Before I had left, i had my panning set in my hand. Set it back down after persuading myself there's no reason to take it out there. Got there and was like 🤦 Beautiful landscapes out there. Enjoyed my road trip.
Unlike gold, "fools gold" will not shine in the shade. Also, gold being heaver is typically the last man standing after panning away the lighter material such as fools gold. Hope this helps.
Wish there was more about the gold. First half was beautiful scenery, then running on about. Everybody is an "expert" after they find sub gram gold and feel the need to teach everyone else or try. And also promote their persona equipment. Why not just find the gold, if that's what the video is titled?
Man please tell me that you keep coins when you find them- please tell me that you do- I mean, you come across as such an intelligent individual, but you blow that all out of the water when you rebury the stuff you find . Just tell me you keep the coins. Do not let me down please
@@DakotaProspecting Aww, hey now, Never say Never. Don't sell your skills short. You never know... Could be anything, anywhere. You should know this
Well, Michael, that would depend on your perspective. According to the Lakota, and the 1868 Fort Laramie Treaty, we're all trespassing. But other wise, it's Black Hills National Forest Land.
All mountains are petrified giant wood stumps all minerals xome from these tree stumps you can confirm these, by watching hangman videos and also biblical trees on you tube
Please stop desecrating lands sacred to Native Americans. You could go prospecting anywhere in the world but yet you chose to purposedly go to a land you knew was sacred to Native Americans.
I have been in the Custer State Park twice. Have traveled a lot of the US on a motorcycle. The Black Hills country is the most beautiful place of all!
No argument here. :) Thanks!
Your So AWSOME. I used to live down ThunderHead Falls. Your video makes me a bit home sick. Thank You.

My dad taught me to pan for gold in the Black Hills in 1957. He learned from Potato Creek Johnny.
Wow, learning how to pan from Potato Creek Johnny, that's really something special!
I'm located in the hills as well! Would love to go hit some spots with you.

I could use one of those robot flying eyeballs to locate a series of quartz-carbonate veins N. of the BWCA..
How do you know the difference between gold and fulls gold is that how you spell it?

That hasn't been a decision I've had to make. I've never found any coins in the Black Hills. And probably never will. 🙄

Everything is sacred to somebody. The Hawaiians think a goddess lives in volcanoes. You can't even take a lava sample home with you.
