I just got one, the newest version. What I found out the hard way is the bungie has to be a tiny bit loose at full extension, I had the bungie too short and too tight and so when I wanted to un-lock from the rope I could not lift my leg back tenough to give the critical slack needed to open the accender gate to unlock the rope and so I was stuck up in the air with my HASS leg at head level locked into place going into a severe cramp......So make the bungie long and then shorten it a little bit at a time until its just right .....cheers

When your foot is going vertically away from bridge ring it will be further away then horizontal therefore wrecking the bungee
