Hahah! It's all good mate, me feelings were killed a long time ago... guitar was just saying that my face looks as bad as an abortion clinic dumpster fire would smell... I gotta agree with her to be honest. We got a real loving relationship 🤣🤣🤣
this is so dope. i dont really listen to death (the band) but i really needa get into them. they got so dope songs and riffs. Amazing playing by you. im really impressed
Thanks mate! I really appreciate the kind words. You definitely have to dig into Death's discography. Being that Chuck covered so much ground with the band, there's bound to be at least one album or more that will really resonate with you. That said; none of their records are bad. Just comes down to taste as to which ones you'll prefer. Hope you enjoy them mate, Death are fantastic!
@@jvschmidt7846 i am 100% sure ill find something i enjoy. I mean the genre i listen to only exists because of them (controversial, but idk who invented death metal (and then deathcore) so idc ima just say death did. I already got crystal mountain in my playlist (so original wow). still amazing guitar skills
Haha nah you're all good mate. I think most people would consider SBG to be the first rock solid example of what death metal would go on to sound like. Haha, well I'm sure other songs will get added as you go. Give the track Spiritual Healing a spin. One of personal favourites
@boiledtea479deathcore doesn't have anything to do with death metal, I tell you. It's mostly New York hardcore kids that were too edgy to being just only hardcore and introduced some Suffocation and Devourment influence here and there.
Would have been interesting to see what he ended up doing with Control Denied and the rest of his career. Another fantastic artist gone too early. SH is my favourite death record too
@@jvschmidt7846 Yeah, I love Control Denied. Would probably release 4 albums from 2001 to 2010 before returning to Death. And I'm glad you have the same taste as mine. Great minds think alike haha
@@jvschmidt7846 Yep. Anyway, I listened to most of Grave's albums (just Hating Life, Fiendish Regression, Dominion VIII, Burial Ground, Endless Procession of Souls and Morbid Ascent to go) and I honestly prefer their thrashy stuff to the slow-crawl style of death metal from Soulless onward, which is why I appreciate Out of Respect For The Dead. Don't know if Endless Procession of Souls is the same, though.
Yeah that's fair mate. Fiendish regression, Dominion VIII, EPOS and As rapture comes all have a decent amount of pace to them. Hating life is the one Grave album most people dislike. Ola had to take over on vocals and overall it's a much more groove-thrash orientated album. I still enjoy it quite a bit for what it is though personally.
Homie in the thumbnail lookin like the guitar told him a mean joke that hurt his feelings but was lowkey funny

I have that same shirt, the Rotting Spiritual Embodiment live release? Good little live release from their heyday.
Yeah mate, that's the one! Love the artwork and it's beastly live show.
Nice playing dude, you should do altering the future next
Great song!
Thanks mate! I'll get through the whole album at some stage, so it'll definitely come up!

Start with _Human_. That's the best introduction to death metal.

Awesome job as ever! Spiritual Healing is my favorite Death album! You should do Low Life next!
Another one with SH as fav Death album! We should create a Death discord server lol. And I second Low Life!
Thanks mate! Appreciate it 😁.
Glad to hear that cause I feel like SH gets overlooked a bit these days, haha.
I'll see what I can work out bud 😉
@@jvschmidt7846 Awesome man! Whatever you do next, I'm sure I'll love it!
@@hieioni3354 Haha we should! The Sound of Perseverance album got me into Death, but the earlier albums quickly became my favorite!

RIP Chuck. Modern metal would have been sooooo different if he was still alive. Also, Spiritual Healing is my FAV Death album!
