My problem was different, my car won't respond to the wireless key even though the batteries were working, i tried this method to reprogram the same old key and it worked.
No link in description. "Bluh bluh bluh" didn't help either. Glad it worked for you. How about posting a written sequence of steps, with no "bluh bluh bluh."
There is a cut at 2:33 -2:34, so I guess the bluh bluh bluh must have been something important. I don't often downvote because I appreciate the time taken, but this content is found by people with a problem and you've provided no care.
Hi i moved to a remote mexican place with my prius. Ordered a new fob and followed the instructions to program it. It worked but the keyless feature stopped working even on my old fob. How can i fix that? Now i have to insert the key to start it. And i liked the other way better. There is gotta be a way to fix that. Please help me
Check under the steering wheel there's 2 buttons one is the tpms sensor reset and the other one is for the key, the one for the key it have to be all the way out, if it's the opposite way, the smart key will not work, just to lock and unlock the car
Justin, you really shouldn't post this video without including the steps in your written comments or at the very least, the link you used on your mobile phone that you were following in your video. Self-congratulations is great, but you're not really helping other Prius owners to help achieve the same results you appear to be showing in your video.
Hm he seems determined NOT to post any links or further explanation like maybe Toyota be harassing him over the phone for outmaneuvering them, doesn’t make sense though if he wants more followers, I guess he doesn’t care to make money off RUclips, seemed like has potential though just follow up, man!

At 2:21 you became totally unintelligible and you totally lost me. Sounds like a rapid "blahblahblahblahblah". What does that mean in English? PLEASE, do NOT post instructional videos that do not contain clear and complete instructions. That is, after all, the whole point of instructions, to be understood and followed. Meanwhile, thumb down.
Hey Justin
Looks easy enough. Where can I access the directions you were reading from your phone?

What if you’re current fob doesn’t unlock or lock doors
I believe without one working fob you will need the dealership.

Why do you have that utterly obnoxious sound at the beginning?
Also, why not qualify whether your programming the smart key or the standard key. Might save some folks some time .
NANI?!?!? A ADD
This video is very hard to follow.
Horrible
Oh my god is that a prius
No, this is God
