ironic this showed up in my recomended lol, yesterday i finally upgraded from my 2060 to a 4080 super. Loved my 2060, had mine for 3 years and it was a trooper.
Been using a GTX 2060 super for years and it works fine. I sometimes get my head turned by those fancy new 4000 series cards, but with the games I play, I'd never notice the benefits. I would notice the drain in my bank account.
Massively overpaid for a 2060 6GB back in June 2021 (around 560 euros). Still have mine and will keep it for a while, since I paid so much I'm gonna use it until it either breaks down or becomes too outdated.
That’s fair enough. Yes they did seem to drop in price very quickly, mainly thanks to the 30 series and then 40 series but I’m sure this card will be fine for many more years 👍🏻
@@JxTechy Yeah I bought it in the middle of the gpu crisis during covid. Was building my first PC and this was genuinely the cheapest option back then for a discrete GPU. In hindsight I should have gone for a CPU with internal graphics and just wait until the prices would drop but I was inpatient back then haha
I feel you. I built a couple of PCs for family during that time and it was difficult. I think a GTX 1050Ti cost £160 used and with that one I got mega lucky 😅
Very nice. 970 is such an underrated card. I actually did a review on it a couple of years ago. Here’s the vid - ruclips.net/video/SHcCi50HSkQ/видео.htmlsi=Ozc43D9BmefqI7qF

Very nice. Glad you enjoyed the card in the time you had it. A 4080 Super sounds like some upgrade. Enjoy! 😊
It is a significant upgrade my dude
@@cmmss6612 absolutely, hopefully since i went all out i shouldnt have to upgrade for another like 3 or 4 years if i wanna play modern titles in 1440p
Oh yeah definitely. I’d say you’d be fine for the next 5 years 😅
i have this gpu in 2020. but its time to upgrade. waiting for the 50 series or rdna 4 next year before i pull the trigger.
Nice
