Bridge closed and a train along the Dixie highway

- A few years back I was at this location and stopped to get some pictures on this cool bridge along the Dixie highway, and in the fall of 2023 I found my self cruising the same road, and I thought I would stop and check out the old bridge again. To my surprise it was closed. but caught a great train while I was there. hope you enjoy the tour and train.

Looks just like a wooden bridge we had in White Marsh, MD! Almost identical! Ours got closed also.

That's a lovely bridge, I bet there aren't many like that around and as you say probably it will not be left for long. I think I would make a model of it for a layout

Cool flyover bridge. There used to be one close to Anoka, Indiana. It was recently torn down.

An open auto rack, definitely something you don’t see everyday. Definitely a unique bridge there, loved the top down view of the train. I’m trying to figure out what them cars on the end were? Thanks for taking us along Pappy👍🏼😎🇺🇸
Definitely a cool spot, hope it's still there when I pass thru there again. I'm thinking those last cars may have been some well cars, there's so many diffrent types, hard to tell. Glad you enjoyed it Eddie, appreciate you watching

Yeah it looks like the bridge isn’t safe for cars.
It's definitely got some bad spots. Bur sad it's closed, but makes a great railfan platform. Appreciate you watching Dex
