Could do without the buzzfeed music
you can always hit the mute button...
Could do without your comment 😂
I had to turn down my volume to what ever garbage music you had playing. Neat lineup of locomotives though
Thank you.
This song is probably from 2016
Ex Amtrak Genesis 801 is being rebuilt at the GE Wabtec Relco shops in Albia Iowa.
Right now???? Really????
@@graphtonix6607Yes.
And it’s being repainted in Keewatin Railway colors.
How does this “music“ in any way compliment the cool train pictures being shown?
Because the song is awesome!!!!!
@@graphtonix6607 apparently we have extremely different definitions of “awesome“…
@@trainnerd3029🤡
Cool video
Thank you very much.
What engine is the oldest and what is the average age of these? Just curious. Enjoyed the video!
Thanks for watching. I would say that the EMD E9AM from BN and Metra are the oldest diesel electric locomotive.
@@graphtonix6607 Cool! Thank you for answering :)
@@shawnwright4129 Your welcome.
why does this place have so many engines?
Nice collection of classic locomotives!
Thank you very much. And thanks for watching.😊😊😊👍👍👍
Great pictures, but the music....ugh. had to mute.
Not gonna lie LTEX has quite the collection of locomotives
Sady that is where my favorite Amtrak F40PH was scrapped. The spacific F40PH being unit 275.😢😢😢😢😢
@@graphtonix6607 dang RIP 275
B&O #8595 is there too after CSX sold it there by mistake. It's probably in the sea of dead locomotives awaiting an uncertain fate. We should probably notify LTEX that #8595 was meant to go to the B&O Railroad Museum not LTEX.
LTEX is a sea of dead locomotives. Sadly B&O #8595 is in there. They're all awaiting an uncertain fate.
Yeah CSX 8595 was the last B-O sd50-2 built it was supposed to get in a museum but CSX screwed up and Accidentally sold it to Ltex
@@dnoc4973 someone seriously must notify LTEX and let them know of CSX's mistake
LTEX! STOP TAKING ALL THE GOOD ENGINES!
All those locomotives, waiting in line for either 1 of 3 purposes:
1. To be converted to run on Bio-Diesel & other renewable sources of Fuel.
2. To be changed from Diesel to Electric.
3. To be Scrapped.
Hoping that the Ex BN E9's get rescued from LTEX's Macdonald, Ohio facility.
Me too I heard that they were very famous on the BNSF racetrack back in the 1980'S and 1990'S.
@@graphtonix6607 Yeah they probably have my favorite E Unit paint job. They also were among the last streamliners in daily operation in the US. Which makes me hope at least one of LTEX's E units gets preserved since I know that of the 4 that they have some aren't in the best shape.
@@DaimosZ I really hope that EX Amtrak F40PHR unit 369 will be destined for Museum preservation.
@@graphtonix6607 Same
@@DaimosZ CoasterFan2105 has the number boards from EX Amtrak F40PHR unit 369 in fact he tried to save it years ago but LTEX Rail wanted a ridiculous amount of money for it.
Those locomotives should be Reproduce and rebuilt
Maybe a rebuilt for a few of there locos but they are never gonna need reproduce because railroads love gevos and crap but maybe a shortline would like these locos
I never know Amtrak has a high hood engine they retired these
THAT'S AN SW1504! NOT AN SW1500!
They got to get that e8 out of there
Are you talking about the former Burlington Northern/RTA Metra unit????
@@graphtonix6607 yes
@@Mauscmkwk OK.
I think they used to used these type of locomotives in the olden days
What's your favorite locomotive in this video????
@@graphtonix6607 Literally, everything
@@derricktherailfan Lol!!!! Awesome!!!!
Yea, the olden days--- 10 to 15 years ago.
??????????
You should do diesel locomotives of Gecx (without the buzzfeed music)
I like the music, a feeling of happiness over these lucky few preserved locomotives.
Thank you very much.
None were preserved, these are either storage lines or deadlines. These locomotives are being stripped down for parts.
Once they are just bases with nothing else remaining, they will be scrapped.
I really enjoyed the video, especially the Union Pacific’s … music was cool thank you for posting
Thank you very much. I'm so happy that you loved it. I had so much fun editing it.
