Some actors seem to be able to transmit a deeply satisfying feeling for the viewer, no matter what movie they're in...John Malkovich is one of these
This man had a whole movie about playing himself thats the mindfuck of becoming John Malkovich this man knows how to play himself as an actor being an actor the mind Fuckery from this man is real
I still say my fav witty Malkovich one liner apart from this is Sai onara from con air
You must have not seen Ava then...
100% always
Old man my ass is a stupid line though. Frivolous.
If the phrase "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you" were an actual person, it would be Marvin.
You could say the same for Burt Gummer if he was in this movie as well.
I’m completely out of ammo this has never happened before
There is a scene from the movie Strange Days where a character named Philo says the most epic line: "Paranoia is just reality, on a finer scale."
Garak from DS9 had that philosophy 30 years ago.
I always used to say "It's not a conspiracy when they really are out to get you." :)
I love that John Malkovich's character is mad not being shot or the situation they're in but the fact he was being called "old man".
As the man said to Marvin; no respect. So he chastised her.
They are use to being shot at or targeted and all that
that's pretty much what they were going for in terms of the writing lol
At this point, he's been in too many firefights to take them personally.
Verbal attacks, on the other hand, are a whole different ball of wax.
I own a bar where I was talking to some young kid to get off my furniture and he started to threaten to kick my ass in about 5 minutes into the conversation he called me old and then that's when I got pissed
She never learned, that switching to your sidearm is faster than reloading
“...an Island Reload...”
Your fruit killing skills are remarkable.
@Alex Citovsky to hell with you pfp
She switched weapons
The spider on your logo is a nice touch.

@@michaeljames4904 oooo 😁 thank you
@@michaeljames4904 Actually, it was said, or atleast made famous by a SEAL veteran Kevin Lacz.
@@michaeljames4904 Sun Tzu, Sun Tzu , ya ASKISS (Sopranos).
Not unknown, Terry Pratchett. In his Discworld series, there is a very old man named Cohen The Barbarian, he invented wholesale slaughter.
I don't know what's funnier, John Malkovich or the episode Mythbusters did proving the RPG shot was actually possible.
Of course it's possible. A C-RAM does the same thing, just with several thousand 20mm rounds as opposed to one large caliber revolver round
Possible, but unlikely, like most if not all of the stunts. Odd how the goodies have a perfect aim, wheras the baddies can’t aim for shit.
@@StillAliveAndKicking_ it'd be a pretty short movie otherwise...😆
@@1slotmech You’re right, it’d be more like a public service broadcast warning of the dangers of firearms. 10 seconds in and they’re all dead.
I forgot about that episode
Dayum, Billy Butcher was a badass even in his early days
Well he played in LOTR so yes indeed he was
He was Cupid back in the Greek days, and Julius Caesar back in the Roman days.
@@NoBreakz don’t forget he was Judge Dredd
judge dredd and underrated movie he was a beast i still wana see him play batman
@@SOSOLRAK don't forget about Riddick series too.
"Old man my ass." Gotta love John Malkovich lol
nicd
I quote this line a lot these days lol.
@@iqtv9489 yep
He is hilarious in this movie!
@@VFN556 yep
Billy Butcher looks like he's in so much pain having to speak in an American accent
Equally as he was using a British accent... He's a Kiwi.
Nice one, at least karl urban is being respected now ohh damn butcher is the best character on tv right now

"Old Man my ass."
I still absolutely die when he says that line.
This is, hands down, my favorite John Malkovich role. Cyrus Grissom in Con Air is a close second.
Cyrus the Virus was a hugely entertaining character.
Osbourne Cox ftw
@@chriswright8114 exactly, he was fantastic in "burn after reading"
"Ohhhhh, nothing makes me sadder than the agent who lost his bladder in the aiiirrrrr plane". 🤣
@@napalmstickylikeglue I can't think of any other actor capable of delivering that line so well, he was perfect!
Also, as soon as this discussion began, that was the line in my head!
You'd think that one of these trained assassins would be able to hit a stationary target.
I assume this is meant to be a comedy for people with traumatic brain injuries to enjoy?
You would think, but the young bucks aren't as skilled as the old dawgs. In defense of the first guy, he was in a moving helicopter, trying to hit a target from distance. He was off buy millimeters on the lady.
they are all graduates of the Vader Memorial Storm Trooper Academy.
@Gray Jedi you can always use cannon fodder. however, you still need people who can do the job. for the right reasons.
but at the end of the empire, the corruption is everywhere and the smart ones cash out and leave.
you cant save idiots who wont save themselves.
hey! look. free lottery tickets and beer.
Not to mention throwing a grenade at targets standing in the open, and using an RPG on non armored targets still standing in the open.
I loved Malkovich as Marvin the Conspiracy Theorist, who was proven right....Way to go John!!!
I can’t even imagine these movies without John Malkovich. These RED movies were made for him and could not have worked with anyone else. ❤️❤️❤️

Which movie is this?
John Malkovitch is always one of my favorite actors ! He always delivers , wheather comedy or serious he is great.
Greatest line ever "she called me an old man" 😆
"Damn satellites! Boop to that!"
One of my favorite lines from the movie.
RED deserved an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture, Malkovich for best supporting actor.
Absolutely. Criminally overlooked and under appreciated! Bruce Willis’ last good movies.
I love this section of the movie with the Western music and shootout. One of my favorite parts of this movie is Marvin opening up the '55 Chevy where he lives.
These two movies are very funny!
Marvin: Old man?
Frank: no respect.
Marvin: can I kill her now
XD Nice
There's always someone in a matchmaking lobby of a PvP game that gives you that sentiment.
@@TheJECNova XD that's so damn true

The way John Malkovitch waited for the assassin to load the rocket, to insure a more painful death is sick!
It was hilarious when the police tackled that guy. “LOL”. 😂
If youve played doom or quake.. youd know that u dont shoot rockets straight at the person, but at the place/floor where they stand
thank you, u made my day
Splash damage for the win
RocketJump.
kids dont know shit these days.
Splash damage, yes but If you can't hit someone with a rocket in Doom, you're a shit aim.
2:39 LOL.. I've used that line and it's absolutely perfect!! :)
So this was Billy Butcher's job before The Boys. Looks better with a beard tbh
So this is what Butch did before he had a beard.
Before homelander rip his wife
Karl Urban is in like every popular book or comicbook movie adaptation.
And ya' fuggin' hate his ass in every damn one of 'em.
@@a2ndopynyn Even Lord of the Rings?
That was a impressive shoot. I forgot how good this movie is.
Despite both his age and the long list of neurologial drugs that were pumped into him for year..... the man shot a .44 with one hand and no support and perfectly hit a rocket in the detonation cap. The skill is *BEYOND* legendary right there
It's a Smith & Wesson Model 460V chambered in .460. Not a .44 magnum.
The problem is that kinetic energy of the RPG is much muuuch higher than energy of the bullet, so the resulting "merge" from the explosion would definitely go in the direction of the RPG....
This is the best darned action film ever! Saw it first on t.v. a couple of years ago. Since then have watched it multiple times.....it's funny; it's raw; it's scary; it has great actors; and it weaves a number of S.L.'s together seamlessly. "She called me an old man!" Great stuff!
Which movie is this?
@@zhorapata9733Movie entitled RED like it says above! RED 2 is also good but not as good as RED ....IMO.
billy butcher before fighting supes
Lmao I love this movie and it’s insane explosions that don’t make sense but are great 😂
Lesson learned. While in a firefight for my life, no calling the enemy "old man."
Billy Butcher’s tamer days.
This was Billy Butcher before his wife disappeared...
This movie is awesome
A truly great movie!!
Best was when Malkovich gave the finger to the satellite imaging knowing they would see it.
I liked the CIA guy chucking lol.
This is so over the top, this entire movie. It's so unelegant, and yet I wouldn't be surprised if they had tremendous fun making it, and it has explosions left and right and a lot of killing and is very entertaining, if you that beforehand and are fond of all them old geezers!
I mean find me another movie movie where Dame Helen Mirren is firing a heavy machine gun in an elegant dress and it doesn't feel out of place.
The tragic ends of more Stormtrooper Academy marksmanship graduates.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This movie was so good for just an escape. Great cast good laughs.
Billy butcher cleaned himself up and got his life on track
Love the little blooper when they collide heads haha 1:12
That never gets old
One of my favorite movie scenes ever.
Both movies are pretty much hilarious, the funniest the first one.
Best explosions EVER.
One of the best scenes ever!!
*Fear the old man in a young man's profession.*

Top five favorite movie scenes ever
RED & RED 2 are criminally overlooked. These movies were so much fun and had so many great characters!
This movie was choke full of awesome moments 👍
Best movie(s) …ever ~
Criminally underrated movie. Low-key one of Bruce Willis’ best.
Explodium and Infinity clips, what every great action movie needs 😊
We want part 3 of this movie😍😍😍
1:35 "This is gonna be good."
Well, he wasn't wrong.
The film was silly, but damn, it was enjoyable. :)
These were 2 incredible movies.
These Red movies really make me laugh 😅

This man's last thought, "Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me!"
**boom**
Well, at least it was smacked back with a grenade launcher.
Damn before killing supes. Butcher was hunting spies 😂
I love this series of movies
Still my all time favorite 🍿🍿
Ain't that butcher ?
Old man my a** 😂😂😂😂 JM is priceless.
what's more impressive, is how he fired the revolver in single action and was on point
it was actually double action. its single action if you cock it and then pull the trigger and one action of the hammer falling happens.
Apparently everyone in this universe consume highly flammable liquids based on how they explode
Lol
Or everyone that exploded still have ammo or grenades left...
That was freaking awesome.
This scene is so satisfying even if this is impossible I would consider great.
Actually, Mythbusters tested it because of this scene. It's not impossible, just improbable because only an idiot would reload an RPG rather than go for their sidearm.
That was diabolical
So, John Malkovich, love that guy!
Exactly. “Old man” my ass.
This was such a great movie
One of the greatest comic book movies of all time!
is he billy butcher ??
I never knew that the human body contained "foo gas".
She must have been holding her fart
@@JohnPaul_kun Actually, she was holding one more RPG round in the back-slung quiver.

we will miss you Bruce, your are a great actor
Any one notice John Malkovich laughing when Bruce is pulling out the gun from that pink doll thing. lololol
I love the tennis move with the gun, that was hilarious!
I think it was a baseball move 🤓
As a former golden eye 007 Ps3 veteran I can only recommend you to aim on the feet instead of the torso when using an RPG.
This woman paid the ultimate price for not being a vintage gamer.

Reminds me of my logging days.
There are old fallers,
There are bold fallers;
There are no old, bold fallers.
Just John being John Malkovich!!!
Malkovich malkovich malkovich.
*"Boop to that!"* _while giving a bird_
its funny how in movies every explosion has a a huge fireball, but in real life you will never see that. grenades dont make fire lmao.
No but it's a movie "LAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Oh I dunno. You ever seen a white phosphorus incendiary grenade go off? They're kinda bright and lots of little fireballs everywhere. That shit will burn down to the bone. Army field manual says to take your knife and use it to dig any chunks out as fast as you can.
WP munitions for my .50BMG do the same thing, on a smaller scale.
Seldom do I see a clip that crams so much of what I hate to see in movies, in such a short time. Bravo 👏.
Malkovich is fantastic 🏴🇬🇧🤓
Heh, his handgun magically disappeared just before the baseball move
@1:59
@1:24 you can see it tucked into his belt
