if you listen to their tracks they do have more technical knowledge than this guy presentation skills does justice for. sometimes you just suck at trying to explain things/presentation.
Bit late to the Solardo party, but at work every time a tune came on Spotify that I liked it was always Solardo! Really refreshing to know that it's all inspiration and a few tweaked presets. Like Old-Skool producers would use a certain piece of hardware for it's 'hard-wired' qualities and tweak that... If it works, it works. And their tracks definitely work!
Solardo tunes bang like pistols - there is another video online where he is talking about the hardware he uses, he has a nice bunch of analogue compressors and tape machines in his studio... I think he is keeping his secrets to himself :D

they actually do work i.e. ableton's glue gives better punch than waves api2500 most of the time. you're probably just spewing something you've read somewhere
Actually yes, do the things you should NOT DO and you can make something proper. There are no rules, especially in electronic music, it cant be compered to classic mixing/production.
He's not technically minded but created an amazing hit, props to him and can show with a bit of dedication and time talent you can make it.
