After seeing and hearing Mr. Ng KoK Song In the social media and television, I see a replica of our late founder Mr. Lee Kuan Yew in term of his courage and clarity of vision on where he would like Singapore to be in the future. By the way, he presented himself and answer all the difficult questions, he clearly have the conviction and competency to be a good president.
Mr. Ng is very good. He is the best person to be the President of Singapore since our independence. He is way above all the past presidents we had. I really can't deny that.
Never thought I would stuck through the entire podcast. NKS has a steel-like composure which probably stemmed from his years of experience with GIC, and yet still appears humble throughout. Would have been great if he was asked more difficult questions though!
Why NKS want to be President? His aim is different from TS and TKL. He can't Reveal because he has a Mission. Can he tell u he has Superpower from his Almighty God? He also wants to payback Father Lee and SG for his Good Life. So he wants to come back as King David ( President) tò Save Father Lee's family. Saving Lee's Family will Save Country from Destruction.
At first, I am still not decided who I should vote. After listening to how Kok Song presented himself, I am rather impressed. He is very grounded and sincere with what says and now I know exactly whom I want to vote. I like the sentence that he mentioned that the President should work WITH the government FOR the people. Finally I can see that he will be a People's President.

Why discharge this responsibility to schools & tchrs? Shouldn't parents (and immediate fam) be the ones to teach their own children these things? If NKS becomes president and has the capacity to influence the govt like that, I would like him to get MOE to include personal finance management into the sch curriculum. Teach the younger gens budgeting & how to manage their own finances, help them develop investment acumen to grow wealth for their own retirement. I knw I'd like that for myself at an early age.

FACT IS , working With Gov can be done in several ways. To a pap believer, this means yesman. To a fair minded intellectual, it means consultative process is possible as long as its FOR THE PEOPLE. More than one solution is possible for any problem. As long as non-adversarial and intention is good, heart in the right place, it's all FOR the People. Times already bad long ago for local breed Singaporean not just ahead just looked at wheelchair seniors selling tissue paper at train stations n seniors have to worked at food courts why don't want stay at homes and retire happily looking after their grandchildren worst believed many seniors are still working to make ends meet because many are low educated n low savings n their c p f are being locked by the uncaring government so seniors have to wait another dark long ten years till 65 years old before they can be return bit by bit worst than taking social welfare after the first return at 55.

Frankly I disagree, the popular vote should not decide everything, that is a much longer discussion but at some point in our lives we all realise that some things we leave to experts, some things we want our own hand in it. So when it comes to the nations reserves, I’m not sure if we want everyones hands in it.
