On sponsor, if banana reit were to be successfully internalised by kicking off sponsor manager, then all REITs will also want it. My feel is this internalisation will be a slow death for banana reit and yet the unitholders are cheering. So ironic.

AIMS APAC Reit is indeed a wise choice. Their master tenant list such as Optus campus in Macquarie Park in Australia is great. They just need to ensure they can renew their master leases.

Been living in BKK since 2014 and can't agree more with the fact that we can't bring the "Singaporean-ness" with us...as what Ernie said, if you can accept, then you can. If one is going to compare efficiency, reliability, smoothness and transparency with Singapore, there will bound to be some disappointments...but those are not the reasons why one moves out of Singapore, right?

I was there before that was introduced. Using APEC 90 days visa and do one time extension whenever I feel like it coz quite hassle need to take bike for 2 hour ish chop stamp stay maybe another 1 week i think. . Cannot extend stay if already extended once in that visit. Occasionally visa runs but most of the time I'll guai guai come back sg by day 90th or before due to work or client meeting etc etc to reset my 90 days before going back soon after.

The only point of being local as valuable towards the company is our quota, so that they are able to hire more foreigners. As for the local workers, companies expect you to multi task and handle job scope outside of your interview contract with the same amount of salary given. As for overtime they prefer others to do it since their basic salary is a bit lower than the locals. Jobs can be easily replaced by others, it's just that it is too difficult to build a strong bond with the company working towards long services and commitment anymore to rise productive together as a team.

This episode of the TFC Budget Royale series, titled "Stop Losing Money To Consumer Traps! Proven Strategies How To [Chills 190 TFC Budget Royale]," brings together three individuals - Andy, Darren, and Dave - to discuss their top budgeting and investment tips. Budgeting Tips * Andy emphasizes the importance of defining your "enough" to avoid overspending and being trapped by consumerism. He suggests differentiating between wants and needs, sleeping on big purchases for 24-48 hours, and imagining your future self before buying something to avoid impulse purchases and buyer's remorse. * Darren recommends grocery shopping late at night on a full stomach to avoid impulse buys and overspending. He believes that shorter queues and reduced hunger can lead to more efficient grocery shopping. Investing Tips * Andy highlights the importance of "time investing," particularly with children. He draws inspiration from the book "Die with Zero" and the concept of "time marketing," suggesting that investing time with children when they are young is crucial. * Dave advocates for reading as a key investment strategy. He recommends the book "Shut Up and Wait," which emphasizes the potential of long-term investing and advises against being swayed by complicated, high-yielding investment schemes. He also stresses the importance of being in control of your own finances and not being influenced by external parties. The episode concludes with the host, Reggie, declaring Dave the winner of Season 2 and encouraging viewers to connect with the participants on LinkedIn and share their own budgeting and investment tips.

Great episode to hear more from wsg Key things I've benefited from them are the: 1. Goal setting is key so you know what to seek support for. Reskilling, upskilling or others. Maybe wsg can explore frameworks like 'design your life' as a means to help people figure that out. 2. volunteer career advisors (underrated as they are industry people who are friendly and generous in their sharing, I found value in that). 3. Portfolio career is a thing and I think wsg can explore more efforts in supporting these by looking at reskill or upskilling for more freelance or part time type of roles. I think ntuc does a bit of it via ufse but wonder how they collab if they do. 4. Life stage and situation career pviots and how to navigate them better. Will be nice to see how wsg has helped those navigate these changes e.g. I just had a kid and plan to do part time work but what's available from wsg all seemed quite full time focused Eg. Career conversion program

Keeping Up with the Joneses was an American gag-a-day comic strip by Pop Momand that ran from March 31, 1913, to April 16, 1938.[1] It depicts the McGinis family, Aloysius, Clarice, their daughter Julie, and their housekeeper Bella Donna, who struggle to "keep up" with the lifestyle of their neighbors, the unseen Joneses. The comic coined the well-known catchphrase "keeping up with the Joneses",[2] referring to people's tendency to judge their own social standing according to that of their neighbors.
