    I wish I had seen your video before seeing mine yesterday. Next time, I will not clip it as suggested until after it is sewn. I do love this, don’t know why I waited so long. Much clearer than LN video(meant for testers), thanks for including this.

    The jacket looks wonderful on you. and the cream colored one looks very elegant.

    I bought some terracotta colour scuba suede, which I'm yet to sew into a Metra, but I adore the French Terry version that you are wearing 😍

    This is on my planned sews list for this month. I've bought scuba suede. I love the jacket you're wearing. I have some french Terry, so maybe another is in my future, too. Thank you for the video

    That blazer does indeed look great on you. There sure was a lot of buzz on the interwebs about the pattern release.
    That neckline does look scary. I'm definitely going to hand baste it before sewing. Thanks, Kim!

    Good morning Kim! I have been watching for this pattern to release and was happy to use your affiliate link! Thank you for your pattern review! Can't wait to make it up, but it will have to wait a bit. I'm virtually at the Puyallup Sewing expo for the next 5 days! 🙂

    Do you affiliate links to the Terra tunic and the jiggers?

    I have subscribed to your channel with the shaking bell but I am never informed when you put out another video. How does others get notified - through what form on you tube? Love the blazer - my favorite form of apparel. I like them lined always.

      Oh thank you so much! Have you allowed notifications for RUclips on your device? If not, that could be why.

    Would it have worked if you stay stitched the collar piece first and then clipped. You would sew almost a straight line then.

      @dorothysdaughtersews  3 года назад

      Actually, I think it would as long as you clipped carefully 👍

    How much fabric does this require?

    When you say to use your upper bust measurement, my upper bust is 40" and my full bust is 44". Does that mean I find 40" in the bust measurement line and go with that instead of 44", grading as needed for my waist and hip measurement? If so, should I be doing that on most patterns? I find that a lot of patterns are too big under the armpits and sometimes on the shoulders.

    • @dorothysdaughtersews
      @dorothysdaughtersews  3 года назад

      Typically Love Notions patterns have both high bust and full bust measurements included. With a 4” difference, you would choose whatever size is closest to you high bust measurement and choose the full bust option.
