This one came with the chills of inspiration I needed! As a parent I never really thought about how social media might be affecting the advice I get from SLPs... I certainly feel that much of what's being offered about teaching/"treating" children on the spectrum is very cookie cutter approach. The word "spectrum" tells us everything we need to know... One size will not fit all! Every approach needs to be tailored. I love the Bhagavad Gita analogy. It's a great reminder that I am not only my son's teacher, but I am his student as well.
