Here is a popular number by the famous Trinidadian Local Classical singer Issac Yankaran. As many Local Classical songs, this has the reference of anthology. It speaks of the time when Lord Krishna's childhood friend Sudama went to meet him:
(Sudama came)
(To meet Shri Krishna his friend)
(Laughingly Rukmini asks)
(Who has come to meet you)
(He brought a fistfull of rice grains)
(That he had kept hidden)
(Sudama, a birth friend)
(They studied at the same school)
From Anand Sagar pg. 51
After my mom died, my dad and I used to listen to these songs. They brought us such comfort. I was 10 then, now I am in my 60s and still find comfort in his music. Greetings from Canada.
