We have 2 Miss Universe (1969-Gloria Diaz & 1973-Margarita Moran). We have 4 Miss International (1964, 1970, 1979 & 2005). We have Miss Tourism Queen International (2006). We have Miss Earth (2008). We have Miss International Powerhouse (2009). We have Miss Super International (2013). We have Miss World (2013). We have 2 Miss Queen of the Pacific (1968 & 1970). The Philippines has etched its name and levitated itself in the hallmark of beauty pageants; whether or not these pageants are prestigious, popular or whatever... It is bound by destiny to rewrite history and break existing records in the annals of beauty pageants. A magnificent milestone in the realm of beauty. I think the Philippines will be hosting again the Miss Universe Pageant by 2016 or 17 the time when The Trump Tower in Makati, tallest building in Metro Manila will launch, that's why the Philippines always landed in the top 10 since 2010, during 90's & 2000's candidate from Philippines was never noticed despite of holding Filipina beauty, good performance & intelligence.. Coz Donald loves countries where he has business affiliation.. That's the reality..

Im Glad to Know about Filipinas, but " weeks ago a saw in NatGeo, that Filipines it`s the Kidnape Capital at the world, Im so scared be there...in the pas I wanted to get there but Now Im not so sure... But great feelens by Filipinas!!
tama... pero naka kuha na tayo ng mga runner ups sa ms world sina ms evangeline pascual at si ms ruffa guttirez dapat magfocus din sa iba pang pageant para makompleto na ang korona...unlike ng india kompleto na meron na sila earth.international,universe at most winner p nga ata cla sa missworld pageant
they offer it to her..Miss Evangeline Pascual....but the contract that they gave to her was unfair as she said...... the prizes will not be given to her...thay just need her to crown the next miss world ...just like that... and she was already having a successful career in showbusiness those times....earning lots of money. ;-)

I am probably going to get hate from some of my fellow Pinoys, but awards that were voted by the fans do not carry the same weight as the ones voted by the judges/press in my opinion (again just my opinion). Pinoys (along with Thais and Puerto Ricans are notorious voters when it comes to pageants (it's in our culture) but by virtue that these are voted by fans who probably voted over and over, I dont think it carries the same weight as an award chosen by the judges or the press covering the pageant. Don't @ me.
..we almost won , had those representatives , except for Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran, did a good job on Q & A ....what a wasted chance of lifetime spec. Mirriam Q., Venuz Raj, ...etc.....

Ngayon ko lang nalaman yung dati na mga Miss Universe ay pinapakita nila yung score ng mga candidates sa screen but ngayon na Miss universe wala na.. Kaya siguro marami nandadaya kasi hindi na pinapakita ang mga score kahit candidates ngayon hindi nila alam ang score na binigay ng mga judges.. TAMA?.. "IT JUST A OPINION" Thanks :)

Philippines could've won Miss World in 1973 when Miss USA was dethroned. I have always wondered what was the real story: did she refused the crown or was the crown wasn't offered to her or was she asked to act as Miss World unofficially?
