Same. It was one of the first BIG's songs that I ever heard and I was instantly blown away by this beat. The glitchy guitar sample, all those samples on the hook, funky drums. The way BIG laced his lines on the beat, it was just perfect. It was a literal funk. You couldn't touch Mo Bee's production in the mid 90's. 10/10 song, no discussion.
That's a crazy story, I heard all the Soul Survivor tracks and they never got a beat as dope as Machine Gun Funk, but at the end of the day, it went to the right person.
For Pun? i didnt know Pun was on that level back then, im glad Biggie got it tho, this world would be a different place if that was never released, however with respect to Pun i would have liked to see what he could have done with it
@@GMANKOOL23 Un was already close to Biggie and was helping him along the ropes on his rap career, I imagine he kind of hung up his full time Rapper career in order to help Big come up and then other rappers after that. He helped a lot of artists.
One of the best produced hip hop tracks. My favorite Biggie song

10/10 Beat + 10/10 MC= 10/10 song. Shame we never got an official instrumental of this. Work of art.

“Chief Rocka”
Lords of the Underground
Beautifully sampled, thanks mo.
Legendary beats!!!
Such a dope and funky ah beat. My favorite beat on Ready To Die
“AM I DREAMIIIIIIN!!!”
side note: easy mo bee looks like bald bull from mike tyson's punch out. #respectfully. Living legend on the beats.
Thank God Big got the beat instead of them other dudes.
Biggie was genius. That hook makes a huge difference. Of course his flow and lyrics are amazing.. but that hook. the glue
Don't get his credit man. Crazy. Hate puffy.
Puffy locked up now 😂

huntsman baits He talking about a guy called Un, not Pun bro. Big Pun was featured on Fat Joe 95 album, only a year after all this.
@@ar04azr Most likely Lance " Un " Rivera
