Congrats on the new course, would buy it, but I'm without a job at the moment so, I have to wait.. But I'm sure the course is brilliant, you really have a knack for teaching. keep up the good work.
I just want to say hell yeah and thank you. I love remixes and its so empowering to be able to almost make a remix worthy of the original. Your channel is so valuable. Thank you & AMEN BROTHER.
Hey Will, thank you for this great Video, loved it. 🤩 Can you please make a video on how to make a bootleg in other styles. It will be really helpful, if you could do that. Maybe a series 😅 2:11
Ok let me take a minute to say that was the quickest 45 mins ever i was bouncing around my chair loving every part of it and you are the most informative producer with a good understanding of how to teach us which is what will keep me tuned into ur channel for a long time! I actually feel Like I learned more in that one video then years worth of videos and streams so thank you on behalf of everyone that supports you!!!!!!!!!
NOOOOO!!!!! Now it sounds like your not from the U.S. so I'm going to go ahead and let you know that everybody knows NOT TO USE ANY PART OF THIS SONG...... EVER!!!!!!!!! No More 50 Cent Remixes!!!!!!!!!!
Been getting a number of requests for remixes which are kinda the same thing so this helps! I'm learning a lot! I'd love to see more on Arrarngement since you do such a good job getting us started, I'd be cool to hear your methodology/workflow tips on arranging a song to completion of that session. - BTW - nice finger snap mate. You ever sample it?
love your videos, question though: why are you not using session view? i just finished an ableton beginner course and they recommend always starting with session view...?
You should make a video on why you did the Analog and Operator on an instrument rack and the benefits of doing it that way. I know you can do that but have no idea why you would even want to. Is it cause you're layering it?
ive been using live since version 8....and of all the remix tutorials i have watched....you sir are the best at explaining it! I feel like i discovered a new power and its pretty friggin badass! TY!
OK yeah so um, where does one access this alleged vast library of acapella tracks of songs? I mean, I can't figure this out. Short of what, calling up the original artist and asking for each individual component of the original song or have them send you some kind of Ableton file? Ugh.
Hello, it's a mega remix by 50cend - da in the club. I've also recently been working with Abelton Live 😊 Thanks for the information and tips. Greetings from Germany, to England 👋😊👍
So you can only remix with a acappella.... question.....so if one wonted to make a remix of lets say for example old 80s hi nrg dance traxk which isnt well known and i know theres only the original version that cant be remixed like many songs there never was a cappella version nor could one get hope thie ant the case?
I would love to hear a Miguel MiGs style Deep House remix of Cleveland lounge - drowning. The drowning a cappella is up here on RUclips and also was released on the official release
Will this work with using 2 different songs. All I would like to start doing is first is remixing. I do need advice on how to do it. I havent used this software before.
Hey Will, love this video. I see that I have a long way to go. This piece is SLAMMIN!!! I’m confused, though. As to side chain compression. I’m using Cakewalk by BandLab I’m not quite sure how to direct this process. I created a track with a rimshot but there is no “Sends Only” option in CbB. Also, where does the SC reside? Totally confused. I’m using MCompressor and placed it in Bus D then directed the send of the kick track tot the bus. There is a noticeable difference but I’m not sure if this is the way. Please advise…😏
hello! I hope you answer me on this please... I use the sampler of the sample as u did but I can't see all those extra options you have there that gave u the ability to ping pong the sample and have that effect on the bass ! please help! is there another filter or plugging I can drag and drop on top or what am I missing ? thank you!
Kinda bit late to watch this video but I really love it. Learned alot of things from this video. That idea of creating separate channel for side chaining comp instead of that kick hahaha you genius👌🤝.Thank you so much Bro.
Great video as always, so many great tips! Also I was wondering, is there a chance for you to make a tutorial on how to make melodic dubstep, in the style of Nytrix? Have a good day!
Great vid as always. I really like a 4 bar melody I've found in a classic 90s house track, but I don't want to steal it. Have you made a video on how to remix a melody, so it captures a similar vibe but is your own?
@@EDMTips I produce uplifting trance like Daniel Kandi, ReOrder etc. If you'd like to see where I'm at you can check my latest track on my RUclips channel called 'Unacceptable' (not a plug, just wanted you to see where my head space is in production) My main struggles are with the breakdown. Overall development is pretty sound re structure I feel I understand. You never stop learning but I'd like to put energy into the areas I lack. That said it'll be great to see your input in overall production of this genre. Sorry for the long reply, I respect your time reading the comments and making these videos for us producers :) You are one of very few online producers that I follow for constructive tutorials and info. @@EDMTips Eli Brown has so many great tracks, you'd think it would be a hard choice. But it's not. "Searching For Someone - Edit" is the correct answer here.
dude I just wanted to thank you, and not just for this video but I've watched many of them and they are awesome. the only suggestion I can have is that instead of being too general and loads of materials be very specific, slower, and more focused material. but again you're awesome
@@EDMTips I mean I love your a to Z full track tutorials but halfway through it becomes too advanced and overwhelming, sometimes I need to watch 3 more videos to understand what's going on. I wish you focus on essential midi effects and their detailed functionality or how exactly you create effects on details rather than all in one video. but again, best channel EDM related on youtube, all power to u and ur family and keep up the great work mate
Hell yeah brother... hope you are doing well, quick question could you please do a video on uk bass music like dean makes and if possible could you do a start to finish including the mix down and mastering I'm struggling with intros, melodic old school bassline 4x4 thanks
Tuning samples by ear can be tricky. You also can tune them by using an eq. Play the sample, open its eq and look for the root note. When you see the root note, pitch the sample to fit the song. Then You are never out of tune.
