With learning music production, a lot of the struggle is not knowing what to ask. There is so many things to learn, but it's the tricks like this that help get to that next level. Super helpful. Super Koooool. Thanks.

I would be interested in seeing how you make a shepard tone on Ableton with default plugins and your prefered plugin for making shepard tones. Thanks will.
please make a video on how to make your mix sound just as good in mono as it does in stereo, I'm having the problem of my mix sounding good through monitors but elsewhere it sounds a lot weaker.
@@EDMTips You legend Will. I'm literally 2 days away from completing a track so I'll be using these tips for finishing off the vocals 😁 keep going man. Amen brother 🙏
Gotta agree. This is the ONE video I refer to almost every time I start a new project. It's literally GOLD. Also, I know it's a splice vocal that so many people have used, but man... I LOVE this track. Did he ever release it as a finished song?
Will! King of the castle. I love watching you, great content with great explanation and use. I'm so grateful because thanks to you I'm developing faster! Amen, brother! 😇 greetings from Poland 🙏
Thank you so much for making this video! I'm working on making interesting breaks for my track and your advice is perfect!! I also love how easily I can repeat what you've shown because the way you explain each technique is simple and adds so much value! Thank you!!
can you do a video on kick and drum tuning? ive watched so many videos on it and ive watched so many videos where they tell you to look at the highest peak on a frequency analyzer but it just seems so arbitrary cause the peak is often peaking somewhere in between two notes
There is, is there any tips that you have to start the creative snow ball going as I find that 9 times out of 10, I go to start a track but it doesn't keep me motivated to keep going.
I have watched a lot of videos about transition, but i don't know, there is something about your way of teaching, that your content makes me grasp things the most. Plus all of your content are very straight to the point, at the same time not leaving out essential information. Your tips are informative and really helpful. Thank you so much.
Great tips! I find myself using most of these already but the auto panning automation on the riser is a nice touch I hadn’t considered as well as a few other things. Thanks for the ideas and the “sauce” as they say. 🤘
Thank you so much Will! A super useful video, as always. One request: not all transitions are buildups - sometimes you need more of a cooldown from a more intense section to a calmer one. I often find myself struggling there - I try to get away with a noise sweep, which then turns out to be just dull. Any advise there?
Amen, brother!! These kind of tutorials seriously save me a LOT of embarassment from releasing tracks too early. Plenty of stuff here as a "late beginner" that I had not considered and my music needs. Looking forward to the Tech House course and maybe Accelerator next summer I hope. And, all your students tracks sound great.
Man... this is HEAVY! I wished I could be sitting in a studio just watching someone doing the magic (learning, getting inspired)... And BANG! Here it is!!! Well done!!! Thx a lot! 👍🏻💪🏻👋🏻🎼🎵🎶
Hey Will, love the videos! I'm late to this one and was wondering if you ever made that shephard riser tutorial video? Would love to know how to make those for my tracks. Cheers!
6:50 - did you try few more sweet spots to place that riser before going to the next tip? 😂 This is a gem of a channel mate. I am going through all your videos to fill up the gaps in my learning before probably signing up to your course. Thanks for all these absolutely fantastic contents.
Always plenty of gems to generously share, Will! Always learn from all your tutorials 👍 You mentioned about vocal processing effects chain so a tutorial on that would be very helpful. Thanks 🙏
Thanks, very helpful video! An interesting effect is to duck the reverb tail (LFO tool or one of the many other sidechain tools). Can also be combined well with the reverse drums. Question: What makes the Auto Filter in Ableton special or what is the alternative for other DAWs like Cubase?
Hi, thanks a lot for this video. It is Phenomenal, it helped me a lot to get those transitions sound good. Btw I would like to know how did you make the piano sound?
omg, where is this track from, it’s beautiful. Is it from a previous “how to” “in the style of” video? Super excited to start the accelerator course soon!
Just sat down to watch this with my pint of Stella Artois 🍺 as usual, after a very busy week at work and what can I say? Wow! What a super-useful, brilliant video! 🤩 Thanks Will 👊👍🙌
Love the videos bro but I do have one question.. why didn’t you tune the riser? Sorry it was bothering me enough to ask. The only thing I could think of is maybe your risers are broken out into key folders but looking at your files, there was no key to any of them…..
Hi Will, love your tutorials. Wondering if you can do a drum and bass tutorial on making clean bass stab sounds similar to noisia. They seem to be the best at clean bass sounds with no reverb and still sounds like it does If that makes sense. eg Thier track "caps lock" would be great to get some tips on clean and loud bass sounds that sound tight etc. Cheers Ben
As requested, here is my brand new vocal processing video! ruclips.net/video/bHY4hHIolik/видео.html
Super appreciate!
All the links you given always useless we cant download them or get any link
