Thank you so much. It's an amazing building but we are a long way off getting it completed as everything is so slow. Even the Soprintendenza hasn't responded to our project within the 120 days from submission, money in the meantime is running out fast and we are no closer to moving in. However, we love the palazzo so whatever happens we will get there eventually! 🤩
Well next time you really must go to Abruzzo, it really is worth it. It is such a beautiful region and you can also find out more about it and where to visit on our other channel which we have: Exploring Abruzzo. 🤩
Ah thank you very much. It'll be a long old process for progress but we are determined. Thanks for watching. How are you doing down in Calabria? Love your videos! xx
All this is wonderful and I congratulate you on the work done. I hope they soon give us the keys to our house that I saw in the video so we can finally get to know each other. Good luck
Thank you so much Sandro. Your house is beautiful and I admire it each time we go to ours next door. I too hope you get your keys back soon and we can meet and get to know each other 🙂
Well done guys. It’s lovely to see the crazy British adventurer still alive and kicking in this post-Brexit inward-looking world of ours. I hope you are amazingly successful. I will certainly visit when you open your doors to the public for the first time🤜🤛
Thank you for watching and your wonderful comment. Post Brexit I'd imagine there are many more that want to start a new life albeit maybe not to take on as huge a task as we have. When we first bought all those years ago we were much younger and had more energy 😂.
Wow beautiful tour and it's as if we were back in the Middle Ages and history really breathes there. Surely that building, historically, will still have a lot to tell us and we can't wait to discover it. Congratulations for this incredible and fantastic project. I really hope that soon you will finally be able to enjoy your new home, pardon, new palace. 😀
It's an amazing historic building and we are very proud to be its owners and its custodians and we really hope we will be allowed to breathe new life into it they way we would like to and configure it in such a way with some small structural changes so that it will give joy to many more people over many more centuries. Having said that, we've not had much joy yet just bad news after bad news so hopefully Cultural Heritage will see the benefit in relaxing their stringent guidelines a little so that this magnificent palazzo can be enjoyed by many! Perhaps even it will entice other foreigners to take on other Cultural Heritage projects themselves saving Italy's rich history! Thank you so much for watching and we are very glad you enjoyed it. More, much more to come... 🤩
Hi Pam, we are slowly building up a picture of the interior of our palazzo as it is now and how it was, as well as how we would like it to be through our videos. Also we are trying to make sure that viewers are aware of the huge struggles we have already been through and are yet to go through. So as with everything in Italy, piano, piano eventually you will get to know the entire palazzo. We have a video tour also of the Terrace Apartment and another of some of our ground floor rooms that we want to use as part of our home. Do please subscribe if you haven't already and check out all our videos. Buona giornata 🌞
Una dimora che sarà molto. affascinante e piena di storia❤
Congratulation guys for your amazing Palazzo here in Abruzzo! Wow!

Bellissimo.
I wish we went to Abruzzo this year. Why did we only go to Marche and Umbria? This looks like a wonderful not so little castle. Good job!

Would have liked to see the inside of your palazzo.
