Cloud is powerful, but he still has flaws that can be countered. By the time you've figured out how to counter Bayonetta, she's 0 to deathed you 2 times.

Cloud was arguably more broken than Bayonetta was. Sure Bayo had a 0 death combo but Cloud has fast and disjointed hitboxes and a side smash that can shatter shields and set up for an Easy death.
With Bayo you either gotta be stupid or she's gotta work to wrap you into a combo. With Cloud a rock could win a tournament with him

It's kind of sad that you can perform a 0-death, put it in a highlight reel, and it's completely meaningless because that's just how Bayonetta works. Thank you, Mashed Potato Samurai.

Actually DI options are limited and there's a 0-Death for any of them. Bayonetta isn't banned due to mediocre neutral and poor grab. Watch pretty much any Bayo match on VGBC and you'll see these same 0-deaths in those, multiple times.

I met a good Bayonetta player on For Glory one time, both in how he fights and how he was behaving (He taunted in respect after I had a good spike on him). I am perfectly fine with whoever I fight, as long as the person on the other end is not purposely trying to be a jerk.
Just use shield against their side B, then punish... however, it IS very frustrating to think that if you fail, bullshit like this can happen, and you can't even punish that hard, in fact, if you're not fast enough, SHE'LL PUNISH YOU!! And we're talking about a second long ...Thinking about that always help to get the job done... against noobs of corse!

Great display from Cloud! One of my mains, so I was looking forward to that one the most. I just hate Bayonetta, both playing as and against. The character I'm fine with, she's just stupidly over powered.
