Now EA and stuff make shitty nascar games, which some enjoy, but mann these were the good days for car racing games imo. I really miss them and hope one day i see a game like this or the others i mentioned, even with the same graphics, as THEY DONT MATTER. all i care about in a game is the experiance and feel, not the fucking graphics. so much nostalgia

I remember to unlock the CLK GTR you had to do an entire race or something without getting any damage or hitting anything. Now you can just buy a dlc to get a car 😂 Also CLK GTR and 360 spider or gtfo lol

I love Burnout, but I'm not gonna lie, I preferred the roller coaster style of these tracks over Criterion's constant easy U-turns in a NFS game. God this game was amazing... T-T
This is one of the few games that actually was close to perfection. From the menus to the soundtrack to the car selection. The AI couldve been a bit more aggressive and less dumb.

This game is so awesome compared to the other consoles gamecube graphics were even bad for its TIME.And gameplay on gamecube was very murky.Now on ps2 which is by far the best nfs game ever

Just the Menu itself & its several features like the music choices, the themes, mood & vibe, those extras like the narrator & such makes you even just stay longer on that without even starting to actually play the game. Nostalgia just shit all over my face. From the soundtrack to the douche bag narrator explaining the car specs. Wow. This game defined middle school for me. 7th and 8th grade. I was the top cop - none of my friends could escape me. And I would only drive the Crown Vic with the "catch up" aka nitrous on. Balls.
this was one of the first racing games i've played...in that era it was the best one....the soundtrack was great, the cars were great, the maps were great....sadly couple years after that NFS has fallen and never risen again....the fall started with the pro street...
This is my favorite racing game of all time for so many reasons......not only is this still the most enticing game to race with, whether you race alone or with friends, but it's playability, even now, is through the roof. Games timeless like this one are hard to find. But among other reasons, this game hold a special place in my heart, because it introduced me to my favorite car as well......the McLaren F1, which is in my opinion, STILL the best car in the world ever built =]
