Karen Worcester is pronounced Wuster...x Also the animal on the coffee mug was a bison...I think!! I am so surprised to hear that anyone was unkind to you in the comments...you and Roger are so lovely! Ignore!!
Just wanted to add that yes, it is a bison, but more commonly known as a buffalo, who are very much associated with Wyoming, as they're one of the only states where you'll find them, and there are tens upon thousands of them. Love the video!
Love your videos, Karen. So sorry that some people are in appropriate & rude. All social platforms should have a blanket statement, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all”. Constructive feedback is helpful; cruelty is not.
Another Born Again, Saved Christian here! !My dad was a minister and we also learned books of the Bible in church as well as some scriptures. John 3:16 and Ephesians 2:8 were my favorite ones. I can no longer remember the Bible books, however. But the fact that God watches over idiots like me has always been such a blessing. Glad He loves us all. So happy to know you are born again. Very good video-as always. Very glad your RUclips channel is doing so well!!! Pls thank Roger for sharing what he picks up!! That Woolrich jacket is a special find!!! Take care in the storm!!

Being a top notch reseller is an incredible work load. Few can make a full time living do it. I had years of sales and business experience and was able to pay all my bills from first year as reseller. That said I have no mortgage and am debt free. I couldn't buy a house in today's economy on what I earn as a reseller.

Ack in the day I got a record of “sugar sugar” by the Archie’s on the back of my box of cereal. All I had to do was cut it out (after I finished the cereal- per mom)😂 Yes it played and played and played on my little suitcase style record player.
Oh Karen, I'm a horse lover! I grew up riding/breaking horses, running barrels, roping, and training/galloping racehorses, and i absolutely love your horse!! I had 3 really special horses that i won a lot of money on running barrels. So when they got older, i cut a big strand of their tail hair for me to make horse hair bracelets out of so that I would always have a piece of them with me ❤. I wish I had thought of covering like a Breyer horse with their hair, but I thank God for allowing me to have each horse in my life to ride, love & run barrels on ❤❤
Yes! The record cards do play if they have vinyl ridges like a real record. I couldn't tell on the video if they did. I remember giving and receiving one back in the day. Love my David Austin roses - I mean the real ones in my garden. lol The tray is cute too. I have used umbrella stands to display dried plants in a corner that needs a little something. Stitching is coming back into favour and I sell unused ones all the time. Easy to ship.
I absolutely love that you quickly addressed the negativity and moved on! No one wants to see the negativity and "they" don't need the "air time" from you - you do a fantastic job and we love to watch you work 😃 keep joyful my sister in Christ ❤️

Karen, Pimpernel is an English (UK) company that is known for its cork-backed hard laminate placemats and coasters. They have partnered with a few makers for some melamine items like the platter you found. It might be a collab with Portmeirion, as I had a set of melamine teacups on a tray that was a collab between the two companies. I never leave behind Pimpernel placemats when I find them, esp. in original boxes. They are worth keeping your eye out for as steady bread-and-butter items if you can get a set for $5 or less.
The first time your channel appeared in my feed I watched and was hooked. Not only do I appreciate your taste but you sound like home. Ex LI (Queens) girl here. Good luck with your new booth adventure and happy thrifting!
Back in the 1950s I remember getting card records and they also had them on the back of cereal boxes. Just gave away my range of age but at least I still remember.
Karen, don't ever let those nasties get the better of you; you are great, and so inspiring. The red Woolrich coat is a vintage hunting jacket; the pockets in the back of the coat are for the birds once they are retrieved. Such a great find!! I so wish Roger would get the ball; I would love to hear how a work out between the two of you on those would work out. LOL!!!
Really enjoying this video! As a kid in the 1950s, I had a cardboard record ... maybe from a cereal box ... and, yes, it did play, believe it or not! Always happy to see you include the mug shelves. I found an Emma Bridgewater mug at Goodwill, and Anthropologie mugs do well for me too.
I remember getting a Bobby Sherman record like that. He was a teen heart throb at the time known for playing Jeremy on TV's "Here Come the Brides". Boy, that triggered a memory! S.
I decorate a lot for Christmas and after everything is put away, the house looks drab and bare- always makes me want to paint or buy new planters or accessories.
Love watching your videos, very informative and some of your comments are hysterical (saran wrap boots) lol. I am also a reseller and I find that any of those needlepoint/craft kits like that sell wonderfully, especially Bucilla brand and Christmas ones. Great find Roger on the Woolrich jacket!
Karen, I always look forward to Wednesdays and Sundays because I know your Videos are up, I also enjoy Roger in your Videos, you both are such a cute couple!
Hi Karen and Roger! Loved the wool jacket. Mackinaw is from Michigan. There is Mackinaw Island and Mackinaw City and the Big Mackinaw bridge. The cloth is so called as its was produced in the Mackinac or the Mackinaw region in Michigan which was an important trade route during the 1800 & 1900s.
I am always amazed by the amount of inventory at these Goodwill stores. We consume so much and so much is discarded. Thank goodness for resellers. ❤ you make a living while making a difference.
The Greeting cards do play. 😂 From what I remember they didn't play all that great, but the special thought was always there. ❤ I think it was a 70s product?? I think it was Post cereal that started putting these cardboard 45s on the back of cereal boxes. 😂 maybe even late 60s? Fun finds today!
Lia Sophia did go out of business several years ago, I was so sad!!! LOVED their jewelry, I still have and wear what I had purchased. It was a home party company.
Hi Karen & Roger! As soon as I saw Roger hold up that jacket I recognized it as 'Woolrich'. I first came across 'Woolrich' in Canmore, Alberta 🇨🇦, a mountain town outside Banff National Park. It was sold in a shop called 'Canoe' & I purchased a few pcs over time. After that store closed; one of the previous employees opened her own store & became the largest importer of 'Woolrich' in Canada. Umbrella Stands sold quickly for me no matter the style in my room in the Calgary Antique Mall. I had one at home that I used for hand carved 'walking sticks', unique canes & the like. I always picked up Pimpernel Placemats & Coasters & always were a quick sell even unboxed & singles. That was the first Pimpernel tray I have seen & I thought it was lovely. I enjoyed your outing as Alberta is presently one of the coldest places on earth! Brrr! Stuck inside the house & living vicariously through my UTube Thrifting Friends! Patty ❄☃️💙 Alberta 🇨🇦🍁
I think those record cards do play. When I was a kid, the kiddie cereals, around Halloween, used to have a cut out record on the back of the box that played the monster mash lol. It worked! Sound was a little wobbly if you bent the record 😊

You’re right. Lia Sophia is a home party product. In the 90s they were “lady Remington” and they gave a lifetime warranty. I don’t if the new company stands by that though. They are really decent quality for costume jewelry.
You guys are beautiful and successful. I think people say nasty things because they don't have a life and are jealous. We love you both and your channel. Our favorite!!!
I love burnt orange… pumpkin spice color and I actually just bought that color car this week lol. Having an orange car in OU territory is kind of scary lol.
I cannot get over the sheer amount of merchandise in that store!!!! I live in well populated/ healthy economic city in SC and I stlil have never seen any goodwills that have that much on the shelves, even though the store itself looks to be the same size. unreal- that's a resellers dream store for sure. NICE job to Roger on that Woolrich jacket!👏
Hi Karen, thanks for the video. Great finds as always. I've had success washing pillows in the washing machine on gently cycle and air drying. If necessary, I put them in the dryer for a few minutes.
Hi Karen, when you looked at the hat with hard to remove the sticker I thought of this remover product from Amazon. Its called Un-do. It removes the sticker from porous items (including paper!) and drys, leaving no discoloration or residue. Perhaps that would make your job easier. Love you, Roger, your business process...your my favorite resell channel.
Thank you, Karen. (and Rodger), for another fun-filled video. I am in my seventies, so I don't thrift much, but I love going along on your adventures. Where I come from, thrifters shop from other people’s carts! So I could not put the horse on top the pile like a mascot. I have to cover my stash with my coat 🧥 I actually had a couple women follow me around the store when I had treasures in my cart in Phoenix!
That Rose platter. I love it. Uhhh ! I need to fly to PA to thrift. 😍😍😍😍. I have that exact Gold Mirror. I posted it cream and added clay molds to it and hand painted those. It belonged to my grandma who was from Mt Lebanon! It is probably from 1950. I love it. I wish I could show you a picture of it.

Lol that cracks me up. That is a buffalo or a bison on that mug. I have been to Wyoming many times especially as a child and that’s their main theme. What Buffalo is the Wyoming cactus is to Arizona.

Orange glasses I think are cosmos glasses❤️
The music cards…I think could play on a record player. Not quite the same, but as a kid of the 60’s, cereal boxes often had a record on the back of the box. Kids could cut them out and play them!
Yes - the records play. I remember them from the 70s
Lol that cracks me up. That is a buffalo or a bison on that mug. I have been to Wyoming many times especially as a child and that’s their main theme. What Buffalo is the Wyoming cactus is to Arizona.
I would describe the leather hat as Steampunk.
In case it's the mess that keeps you from making bacon - Google bacon in the oven. Easy peezy and relatively quick and not messy like stove top. Great for breakfast any time of day or summertime BLTs!
