Thank you for this! My problem was the switch kept activating on and off. Once I cleaned it and used the dielectric grease. It works normally. Of course, there is now a general recall.

My 2022 2500 the tono cover stoped from droping tailgate. Was click click click. Random. Now i know how to fix.thanks.still under warrenty tho.

Seems like they would have had a recall on that crap. That could have been dangerous going down the road. Great fix tho.
