Woods by Abercrombie & Fitch is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Woods was launched in 1997. Top note is citruses; middle notes are lavender and exotic spices; base notes are musk and vetiver.
Fierce by Abercrombie & Fitch is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Fierce was launched in 2002. Fierce was created by Christophe Laudamiel and Bruno Jovanovic. Top notes are petitgrain, cardamom, lemon, orange, fir and sea notes; middle notes are jasmine, rosemary, rose, lily-of-the-valley and sage; base notes are vetiver, musk, oakmoss, brazilian rosewood and sandalwood.
First Instinct perfumer, Phillippe Romano, said: “I wanted to create a modern fragrance that balances both the fresh elements of fougère with oriental warmth. All the notes together, create a scent with worldwide appeal for the Abercrombie & Fitch man and beyond.” First Instinct, an oriental fougère, is intended for “the confident man who is not afraid to express his feelings.” op notes include an aromatic gin & tonic accord combined with Kiwano melon. Middle notes offer spicy Szechuan pepper, airy violet leaves and tangy citrus. The basenotes are comprised of sueded musk with raw amber. Launched in 2016.

Fierce gets a lot of hate but it smells damn good and women like it

Its very immature or juvenile.
It is timeless. It does always smell goood BUT sometimes it gives me the same feeling as the Nautica fragances. They became so popular that they burned down.

I love fierce. I smelled it in Miami in 2009 for the first time. It's a classic cologne.

When it comes to some things so subjective it is always good to have different opinions
I've got more compliments with Fierce than Creed Aventus Cologne or LV Afternoon Swim from ladies in their 30s-40s. I live in Miami (warm and humid weather). Too bad the longevity of Fierce is not like when it came out more than 10 years ago.
Isaac Garcia yeah, fierce has that high compliment factor. If it smells good and works, it’s a winner. Wish it did last longer as well

There is a youtube guy who tested the old version, got two bottles of them, but in reality they were much (!) weaker than the current versions, especially the 2020 version.
How old are you and when you say longevity do you mean how long the scent stay on you?

I think fierce has to be the winner here. I just revisited and reviewed the 2002 bottle on my channel and I have to say if we added the compliments of everyone for the past 18 years we know who’s the winner lol
Nice one. I love Jade's enthusiasm for these, as I am about her age group, along with you guys -- just referring to the memories associated with it for the generation. Holly had pleasing reaction as well. This one inspired to go back and think about these scents and I will probably pick up some Fierce soon. I recently got a sample of Legend as well and Mont Blanc did a very good job with that one. It's fairly honorable, but that Fierce vibe is just great overall. I think Fierce would still be a great wear year around and to me it's just still a modern masterpiece. I also think the scent itself really actually is "unique" and beautiful, separate from its distinguishability and popularity. Credit to where credit is due. (I already left this comment on similar video from you, but I am on an A&F binge, haha.)
The fierce used to last 8 hours.
I purchased my fifth bottle in may 2023 and it doesn’t even last 30 minutes. I am very disappointed
Love them or hate them, but A&F really know how to make lady pleasing scents 😎 I just wish Fierce had the performance it used to have... 😫
Stifmeister1 yeah they definitely don’t last very long. Shame as they used to! At least you can still get 4-5 hours out of them

Fierce is the best cologne period women love it it’s the best fragrance it’s better than all those 4-5-600$ colognes creed is good but doesn’t last as long and fierce is a better smell for women to smell on a man. First instinct blue is the next best they have not bad price either woods is too strong and musky not very good for me some may like it. Fierce red I forget the name is ok authentic is a different version of woods

They just released the 90's smelling woods a few months ago. It's a limited release so get it while you can.

Vincemasta100 this isn’t the complete collection either. Same, it’s only slightly different than Gio, and if I’m going to wear something that’s similar, might as well wear Gio.
How about First Instinct Extreme? Is it much better than the regular First Instinct?
Since the second woman liked fierce so much, I wonder what she would have thought of percival by parfums de marley since it is so similar but in my opinion more refined and slightly more mature.

@@SoCalScents unfortunately its not easy to find, and when you do its pricey. found a decant on ebay randomly one day. now i just spray it every once in a while for the nostalgia feels lol. def try to get your nose on it if you can, its a good one. great channel guys.

I was the college guy when I finally said I need to smell better than sweat and BO, if I plan to land a hot chick. Woods was the first cologne that I remember actually being able to tolerate myself. It landed me a lot of late 90’s and early 2000’s babes, including the one I married. The wife loves all those fragrances, but still says Woods is her fav on me. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’ll stock up before I hit 50 😅

@@James7995 discontinued again. Smells pretty different. My bottle from 2003/4 was the second iteration of it and changed a bit too but was at least semi close. The one from a few years ago changed to much

Why can’t I find first instinct from Abercrombie? On Amazon reviewers have claimed low quality and that it’s fake
They have it on FragranceX & FragranceNet. Both are legit places and they are around 35 for them. Hope that helps!

How would you rate First Instinct Blue vs Together?
Never tried either. But Authentic Night is pure 🔥. It came out about 5-6 months ago and is harder to find. But so worth it. Smells like a mix of Ultramale and Fierce but really nicely blended.

Average. But we don’t worry about that as we have no issues with reapplying :)
You guys talking how Abercrombie smelled in 90s and 2000s and spray current woods and fierce which is shit compared to the one from 90s and 2000s? This video is doesn't make a sense as colognes was totally different than what it is now

It’s a summer freshie. Isn’t horrible. Average. Easy to reapply and super easy to spray on clothes to get that added boost. Plus it’s not expensive
Why does every scent have to be a club scent? Not everyone goes to a dam club I never go clubbing it's so annoying ever heard of a work scent or a mall scent or a eating out scent? Club scent lol that's so annoying as if you could even smell fragrance in a club

Matthias Glaschke first instinct works best in the summer. Y is more versatile. Hard to compare them as they are different. Online you can get FI for $30, Y for like $70

Oran Scher it’s better than Blue, but I have not smelled extreme. From other reviewers I’ve heard original is slightly better, but extreme is a little more mature smelling.
