- HELLO EVERYONE! Today at StudioScents I'm highlighting a house best known for asailing your senses back in 'the day' within a 20 foot radius of it's US Mall locations, that's right it's Abercrombie & Fitch, although it's not Fierce I'm talking about today, it's a flanker of one of my Top 10 fragrances to purchase as a beginner, and that's A&F First Instinct [Blue]! Does it keep pace with other blue fragrances of similar ilk? Does it mean something that it's acronym is FIB? Watch my first impressions of FIB and find out!

I like this quite a bit. It's like a lighter blue version of Dylan Blue. I sprayed them on each arm after I got it to compare. While there is no question DB performs better, I think I preferred this. It's great for casual wear.

Picked mine up today. For 25 bucks it's not a bad buy for the price.
Got mines yesterday I think it’s smells great the only downside I would say is the apple fades away really quick but on the plus side I’m a fan of lavender and amber so that’s what your left with after 20 minutes.witch I’m fine with. But this cologne was cheap I would definitely use this when I’m not trying to use my top frags. Seems like a good cologne as like a quick grab something to keep in the car and use a quick resort

I did a full wearing and upped my sprays . I love this on the dry down and i believe it's as good as any blue with the DNA of AB detectable. Give it that chance on a full wearing with more sprays to really open up the fragrance to get the base notes on dry down. I'm loving it all over again.
Definitely agree. The dry down is the best part of this fragrance, especially when over spraying.
It's a great scent profile. 2 hour longevity tho. I'm not exaggerating either lol I usually always get better than average performance even when most people complain about the performance. But for the price it has a place in my collection. Running errands or before bed out of the shower or whatever.
I bought this at TJ MaXX for $19.99 and is awsome. Reminds me like the Very Sexy For Him from Victoria Secret but better. Because i only had like 5 hours of endurance from Very Sexy from him. And this Instinct Blue last me like 8 hour. For me works awsome. I use shower gels from Cremo wich they do smell very good and maybe that helps to boost the cologne (possible) . but i like the Instinct Blue ALOT. I get good compliments.

I do enjoy this one when I want a lighter version of Dylan blue. I actually really like first instinct extreme more though. There out there in TJ Maxx, Marshals, etc. $20.00-$25.00 can't go wrong

@A R I actually like it a bit more than dylan blue.
@A R nice. Dylan just doesn't perform on me. I like it but doesn't perform. Dylan has cedar which I like more but it also has more ambroxin which I don't care for too much.
@A R hey it's all about what works for you! It's a great frag it just doesn't work with my skin chemistry. Btw if he likes ambroxin I highly suggest armaf hunter extreme, it's an ambroxin bomb! I wear it to theme parks because it lasts all day and I don't have to reapply. It's cheap and smells like a cross between dylan blue and sauvage.
Just don't buy cheap fragrances from those cheap stores trust me just save your money and buy something from Macy's that you are gonna be happy with if something is 25 dollars after tax your looking at around 30 bucks 70 more bucks and get something great that you be happy with

Frag com is full of people who dismisses the shity fragrances but saying they “wear them to the gym.” This whole phenomena has to stop. Who the F wears fragrances to the gym?! Gym fragrances equals crap fragrances but still, if I smelled someone at the gym (for good or bad) I’d turn a blind eye.
It’s one of those neutral places where maybe deo works
@@jkbsdasf I wear fragrance to the gym. I like this scent and it has its place for me it's the gym. I like wearing scent and wear it for myself I don't care about other people.

Happy about the TJMAX price but I had to to stop and reassess myself. Regardless of price follow your first impression. Yeah it’s for the lads on Friday night dance at junior high. Please don’t kid yourself.

But keep up the good work! I’d love to hear your opinion on more “in the know” fragrances. Reach out to more new releases. Your opinion matters
The Thanos Thank you sir, your opinion matters as well, and I appreciate your thoughts! I think it’s limiting to relegate any fragrance to a specific age group, but I certainly understand your POV and agree that it appeals more to someone looking for an easy, uncomplicated, inexpensive reach, which fits the motif of most within the aforementioned age group. I’ll definitely be doing more recent releases soon, but all fragrances are relevant to me, and won’t escape my purview! Thanks again for your comments, keep them coming! :)
