I've got the mini-gangsta wraps on my short list (nobody has them in stock). I've got the Slingshot multi-purpose wraps and they're too long/cumbersome to work with IMO for pressing stuff but pretty helpful when I need a tad more support on squats vs using my Rehbands. I think the mini gangstas fill a gap nicely in terms of size/ease of putting on/taking off after each set. Regular gangstas I think overlap too much into the territory of the slingshots.

Just went a head and bought these. They should definitely give you a discount code on your behalf since I bet a lot of people went out and bought them after this video lol
Think I'm gunna stitch my loops like how the gangster wrap is. Can't believe never considered that... guess you just learn not to play with an existing concept. Good review bud
Solid. Starting smolov jr. for bench tomorrow to push past 200. Grabbing wraps today. If I had time to wait would have got these. Still great info and accentuates the advantage of wrapping for support.
Just a quick note Brandon. You wanna wrap it around the back of your wrist if using the traditional ' sticky out loop' because then when you clench your hand the wrap tightens. This is a basic technique used in hand wrapping for martial arts:)
Brandon have you used sbd stiff wrist wraps? if so how do they compare toe to toe. I cant decide between the two and I need the one that will suit me best. I have tiny wrist and have had wrist injuries. so I need something to protect/support my wrist when I go heavy. I have been using shieck wrist supports. Also, do you thinnk I could wrap my wrist in the "boxer" variation that you showed. again because my wrist are tiny. like a girls wrist.
@@BasementBrandon For a powerlifting meet I'm not allowed to have the loop around my thumb. I find it easier to wrap it around my wrists doing it the way you threaded the strap through the thumb loop in the video. Thanks!
Just a heads up, on HowMuchYaBench they just added a 20" 'mini' Gangsta Wrap option which is $5 cheaper ($35). Still not sure if I should get a pair of these, but my wrist has been acting up. Wish there were some color options too
I have the Inzer wrist wraps and I'm wondering how long will they last me do you think of them and what are your opinions seen them and the gangsta reps I meant between the Inzer
is the elbow and knee sleeve variation something you came up with or is this another functionality that Mark promotes? I've never seen him use them in that way.. very creative! awesome review as always
Keeping it gangsta. Where the hell was this review when I wasted my money on some other lame wrap?! I'll call it even if you just send me $40 or the gangsta wraps Brandon.
Could you please do a review on your Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star? I'm looking into getting a pair for dead-lifting and squatting and it would be of great help.
Is there any way to purchase them from germany? Or something like a distributor in lines of the european union? I had major surgery on my right wrist for a torn discus and want to slowly get back into lifting. I don't trust standard wraps, but I'm also not really inclined to pay customs dues, which would easily more than double the price.
Hello there it is me ANTHONY I just wanted to say that I picked up the gangsta rap but I was wondering what would be the easier way for me to wrap them on my rest I played with them a little bit but I was wondering what do you think is easiest for me because I am kind of sight impaired is it easier for me to loop the whole wrap from the loop on the end of the wrap and and slide it onto my wrist or put my thumb in the loop and then wrap the wrap around my wrist was wondering just wondering what your opinion or your recommendation would be I have it set up to where I didn't slide my wrist and right now then rabbit but I was wondering if the Funway was easier or the way I had it is easier hope you can understand this
Are the comfortable on the wrist joints. I have small wrists and i tried some wraps and didnt have much comfort on my joints. I notice the Schiek wrist supports have padding. Would you recommend those instead?
I wouldn't say these are "comfortable" as their purpose is to wrap very tightly and only be worn during the sets themselves. If you're just looking for general wrist support, you might like something the like Schiek supports better.
Great review Brandon. I'm very happy with my Inzer True Black wraps after 1.5 years of use, but if they ever die out these will be my new choice. That pun at the end gave me cancer.
Brandon I purchased the SBD's stiff version 2 days ago did you actually bench in them? My wrists are 6" very tiny and now i'm kinda upset because you said they hurt :(
did the gansta wrap used lether or some smooth material? because I got mine but they seems ugly compared to urs... I meant the red part of gansta words been written at
I think this variation of thumb loop has disadvantage in competing (if these wraps are allowed), because it seems you couldn't get it off your thumb when it's wrapped.
Do you wear these during your squats? And how have they been? Being a low bar squatter myself the more weight on the bar the more my wrists hurt though they aren't supporting the bar. I assume these also be used in competition?
I have a question about washing the wraps. How often should the wraps be washed, and how should they be washed? In the washing machine? By hand? Thanks
I was just actually looking for wrist wraps for my OHPs and as I've just switched to low bar squatting. Searched your channel and noticed this is your third pair I think I'm looking at just getting a cheap pair for now, what was better in your opinion? The thumbless wrap or with thumb strap?
I was wondering if I should these ones, or the mini-version. I'm affraid these will be 'too tight' and that i'd just cut my blood circulation off. Also do you feel like these are too thick arround your wrist or just good? Last question, do you have any idea, where to order them in Europe? Cheers
I think they're available on BB.com now these days, but the other questions you have relate back to personal preference. You can still wrap either pair loosely if need be.
these look awesome. this is off topic now but just to let you know i started your PHUL routine yesterday and im lovin it just got back from doing the lower power workout and it was crazy fun. just a couple of things if i may, how long would you recommend someone to stay on this programme and also what coulkd i sub for the barbell curls on upper power day as doing them really bother my left elbow
Hey beast, i have a little question: Ii want to know if i have to make a 500 caloric deficit overnight (starting from maintenance) or i just need to make it gradually? (same for bulk)
I am thinking about picking up a pair! do you, personally, only use these for benching? if not what else do you use it for? and how much does it help to stop bending of the wrists when benching? I have trouble keeping my wrists straight/inline when I bench
Isn't 36" a bit too long for someone with 7inches wrist? I'm gonna end up rolling them 5 times around my wrist ... Actually I have the Schiek one, 12 inches but they're too short. Fine for squat but not that much for press. Do you think I should get the mini-gangsta?
I feel like everything Inzer I've owned hasn't held up very well. Also ended up ordering some Gangstas cause I didn't want to have to wrap in two different directions if I got Titans.
Nice review! I also saw your review on SBD Knee Sleeves and decided to get them. I was wondering whether these wraps would be allowed to be used at a powerlifting meet?
I ordered a pair and it is not leather!? To me the red gangster strip is leather on the outside? Also mine has two Velcro strips instead of one long one?
I don't do olympic lifting, but that being said, I wouldn't think they would be. The problem in my mind would be that if you're trying to clean the weight up, you'd ideally want a bit of mobility in the wrist.
Thanks Brandon, for a top review, have be looking for some decent multipurpose wrist straps... Also top man on your p-best 545 raw squat.. Hard core you know the score.. Peace
I notice when using them for squats it feels as if I just can't get my wrist in a good enough position because the wrap is so stiff. But on my inzer's just feels more natural. Anyone else get this problem on squats? However on bench, its rock solid and no movement in the wrist which is exactly what I want
Nice review dude, I need to get a piece of this wrap action at some point. As soon as I'm lifting heavy enough to justify it...
Looks like you're there to me!
are you there yet?
10/10 review!
Thanks Nick
Bought! Was actually going to ask for your take on these...
I've enjoyed them thus far.
"Now to wrap things up..." I see what you did there.
;)
I've got the mini-gangsta wraps on my short list (nobody has them in stock). I've got the Slingshot multi-purpose wraps and they're too long/cumbersome to work with IMO for pressing stuff but pretty helpful when I need a tad more support on squats vs using my Rehbands.

rollinupgoood GOT EM! Thanks for the heads up!
FastRedPonyCar No problem.. :) i was pissed they weren't available anywhere either haha
Just went a head and bought these. They should definitely give you a discount code on your behalf since I bet a lot of people went out and bought them after this video lol
Let me know how you like them
just watched both videos and when you moved them up to your elbow... I was instantly SOLD. good stuff my man!! I'll be getting these asap
Haha awesome, I don't use them for it, but I suppose you could if you wanted.
looks like a great product especially with the double stitch
Pretty solid so far J.
Think I'm gunna stitch my loops like how the gangster wrap is. Can't believe never considered that... guess you just learn not to play with an existing concept. Good review bud
Just get a roll of duct tape and make some of your own wraps.
Lol no thanks Jeff
''To wrap this up''. Nice pin Brandon ;). You've been doing a great job with your video's the last couple of months, great video quality and editing.
Appreciate that, wanted to get this out to break up the monotony of training videos.
"To wrap things up..." I see what you did there...
Hah good ear.
Nice review Brandon. This looks promising due to the fact of its multiple usages
I like them so far!
Brandon Campbell SOLD. I will be getting a pair soon
"So to wrap things up!" Ha! No pun intended? Nice review, B!
You know me and puns.
Solid. Starting smolov jr. for bench tomorrow to push past 200. Grabbing wraps today. If I had time to wait would have got these. Still great info and accentuates the advantage of wrapping for support.
I think you'll enjoy the program!
My old wraps just falls appart because of the single stich. Bought these one! can't wait to have them
Hope you like em!
Thanks for this. been trying to find videos on how to use them on your knees and elbows. damn things are sturdy as hell. my bench is now over 9000
IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Just a quick note Brandon. You wanna wrap it around the back of your wrist if using the traditional ' sticky out loop' because then when you clench your hand the wrap tightens. This is a basic technique used in hand wrapping for martial arts:)
Right, just showing here how much give there is in the thumb loop!
Great review B. A lot of things I didn't consider with my wrist wrap review.
I just wanted to try to cram it into as short a video as possible.
Are they making you more jacked and tanned B?
Yes, but I'm fairly unaesthetic and pale to begin with.
Progress!
Jimmy Brooks Much more betterest!
Great overall wrap, especially when you are traveling. I gotta look into getting this. Thank you for this.
Mine are still holding up great 10 months later.
3:20 >so to wrap things up< brandon pls
My apologies.
Brandon have you used sbd stiff wrist wraps? if so how do they compare toe to toe. I cant decide between the two and I need the one that will suit me best. Just got some, haven't used em yet!
Brandon Campbell
Have you tried your SBD wraps yet Brandon brah?
DickiesMayne Yes. Gangsta>>>>
Brandon Campbell What about the gangsta wraps do you like over the SBD's? I can't decided between the two. Big fan man. Love all your vids.
dirtybirds808 Material/fit/thumb loop
This is a 9-yr old video but it helped me to see you thread the velcro strap through the finger sleeve at 2:41, thanks Brandon!
You can if you want, but prob wouldn't do it if using for wrist wraps.
@@BasementBrandon For a powerlifting meet I'm not allowed to have the loop around my thumb. I find it easier to wrap it around my wrists doing it the way you threaded the strap through the thumb loop in the video. Thanks!
"To wrap things up..." You crack me up man. You could use this even for occlusion training for us bodybuilders!
+Ben Kalman haha good point
I just bought my first pair of gloves/wrist wraps today. I wish this came out sooner, I love being a gangsta!
Haha who doesn't!
Just a heads up, on HowMuchYaBench they just added a 20" 'mini' Gangsta Wrap option which is $5 cheaper ($35). Still not sure if I should get a pair of these, but my wrist has been acting up. Wish there were some color options too
ah yeah I saw that.
I have the Inzer wrist wraps and I'm wondering how long will they last me do you think of them and what are your opinions seen them and the gangsta reps I meant between the Inzer
+Anthony Borreggine I still prefer the Gangsta, but most of it comes down to personal preference.
Awesome video BC. Haven't ordered a set of wraps yet and was going to get Inzers...think I'm going Gangsta now
I haven't used Inzers, but I do like these.
Brandon Campbell same thumb loop design as the ones you compared to...I like big loop design
is the elbow and knee sleeve variation something you came up with or is this another functionality that Mark promotes? I've never seen him use them in that way.. very creative! awesome review as always
I think Mark Bell said that all of his wraps are multipurpose wraps.
gotcha. i need to up my supertrainingtv viewing game
He goes over it in his review!
Buying these. Glad I watched this so I bought these instead of the multi- purpose wraps
Hope you like em!
Keeping it gangsta. Where the hell was this review when I wasted my money on some other lame wrap?! I'll call it even if you just send me $40 or the gangsta wraps Brandon.
Check is in the mail!
Never tried wraps. Seem nice though, might pick them up just for the support
Right on
Could you please do a review on your Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star? I'm looking into getting a pair for dead-lifting and squatting and it would be of great help.
I can look into doing so. I'm planning on picking up the Reebok Power Shoe so maybe I can do a comparison video.
That would be great! And awesome videos by the way, I love your channel. Very balanced thinking.
Is there any way to purchase them from germany? Or something like a distributor in lines of the european union? IronLift I'm not sure, you should email them directly and ask.
Alright, I'll try that. Thanks for your reply. Keep on the great work with your reviews 👍👏

Appreciate the review Brandon!
Sure thing!
Branden I do heavy presses a lot, and I do not have any wrist problem. so my question is should I start wearing wristwraps?
+Ishtiak Ahmed I think they're good for the long run, but up to you.

Can anyone tell me the length of the just the wrap not including the velcro (red part)? Thanks.
They look awesome! Thanks for the review Brandon!
Thanks for watching!
Brandon I purchased the SBD's stiff version 2 days ago did you actually bench in them? My wrists are 6" very tiny and now i'm kinda upset because you said they hurt :(
How effective are these as knee wraps? Only being half the length of normal knee wraps I was wondering if they really offer any support.
I probably wouldn't rely on them in place of full time knee wraps.
did the gansta wrap used lether or some smooth material? because I got mine but they seems ugly compared to urs... I meant the red part of gansta words been written at
They have changed them a bit over the years.
I think this variation of thumb loop has disadvantage in competing (if these wraps are allowed), because it seems you couldn't get it off your thumb when it's wrapped.
quite easy to actually!

I have a question about washing the wraps. How often should the wraps be washed, and how should they be washed? In the washing machine? By hand? Thanks
TBH I haven't washed mine yet. They're not like knees sleeves where they get smelly over time.
Thanks for the answer ^_^
Have to try them ! Thanks for the review
Wish I knew about these before I bought my Rogue wraps. No complaint with those, but these look even more functional.
i have the rogue wraps, the stitch on velcro is falling apart, and they unwrapped twice during heavy cleans. i hope they last longer for you lol
I've found even the best equipment eventually goes out.
this is also true, i was using them very frequently but i just expected them to last a bit longer. thanks for always giving feedback brandon
Have you got any idea for websites you can purchase these on in Australia?
Hayden Fyson Not that I know of, maybe email the SuperTraining guys?
Will do, Thanks
Brandon Campbell
Oh snap. When you pulled the wrap towards your biceps, I thought you were going to say you could use it as a tourniquet.
Haha prob could
I was just actually looking for wrist wraps for my OHPs and as I've just switched to low bar squatting. Searched your channel and noticed this is your third pair I think
I'm looking at just getting a cheap pair for now, what was better in your opinion? The thumbless wrap or with thumb strap?
Probably with the thumb loop
Kool man was actually looking for some today
ah good timing.
Would you recommend the 20" pair if all I need is wrist support for bench press and low bar squats?
I haven't used those ones TBH, but I know ***** does and I believe he likes them.
I'm mainly interested in this product for the wrists, but should I get the multipurpose instead of the Gangsta wraps anyway?
Dane Haven't used the multi purpose wraps so can't really say.
Purchased the Gangsta wraps b/c Gangsta, thanks for replying tho
I was wondering if I should these ones, or the mini-version. I'm affraid these will be 'too tight' and that i'd just cut my blood circulation off. Also do you feel like these are too thick arround your wrist or just good? Last question, do you have any idea, where to order them in Europe? Cheers

Your reviews are great! Please do the Adipowers
Great review. Brandon, have you ever tried the titan signature gold wrist wraps? if so, whats your opinion on those? thanks
I havent!
3:20 "to wrap things up" I c wot u did thar campbill.
;)
these look awesome. this is off topic now but just to let you know i started your PHUL routine yesterday and im lovin it just got back from doing the lower power workout and it was crazy fun. just a couple of things if i may, how long would you recommend someone to stay on this programme and also what coulkd i sub for the barbell curls on upper power day as doing them really bother my left elbow
You can mix and match exercises as you see fit as long as they're hitting the desired muscle groups. I like to milk a program for all it's worth.
Brandon Campbell cool thanks bro
Hey beast, i have a little question: Ii want to know if i have to make a 500 caloric deficit overnight (starting from maintenance) or i just need to make it gradually? (same for bulk)
I prefer to do it gradually
would you recommend these over the mini gangsta, based on the different uses?
***** Just depends if you prefer a longer wrap!
Would you recommend them for a first pair of wraps ? Or should I buy Inzer's Iron wrist wraps (because they are cheaper)?
Depends on your long term goal IMO. If you plan on lifting for a long period of time (and heavy), I think they're a good investment.
Thanks ! I'll then order them right away !
I am thinking about picking up a pair!
do you, personally, only use these for benching? if not what else do you use it for? and how much does it help to stop bending of the wrists when benching? I have trouble keeping my wrists straight/inline when I bench
I use them for squats and OHP as well.
sweet i need wrist wraps might look into this
These are pretty solid IMO
Isn't 36" a bit too long for someone with 7inches wrist? I'm gonna end up rolling them 5 times around my wrist ... Actually I have the Schiek one, 12 inches but they're too short. Fine for squat but not that much for press.
Do you think I should get the mini-gangsta?
Yeah I'd go mini in that case.
Brandon Campbell Thanks for the quick answer and the advice!
I feel like everything Inzer I've owned hasn't held up very well.
Also ended up ordering some Gangstas cause I didn't want to have to wrap in two different directions if I got Titans.
I think all wraps have a shelf life for sure. Just trying to find the ones that last longest!
Nice review! I also saw your review on SBD Knee Sleeves and decided to get them. I was wondering whether these wraps would be allowed to be used at a powerlifting meet?
Sure are!
Anyone know how does these compare to the titan signature wrist wraps? or the sbd wrist wraps
Haven't used them personally
Would you recommend these wraps for a beginner-intermediate lifter with small wrists to reduce wrist pain?
They'd def help some
Thinking about getting these, they also have a 20" version. Would you recommend the longer or shorter wraps?
Depends how much you want to wrap. I've only used the longer ones.
Just bought a pair, can't wait to test them out :)
Hope you like em!
Are there uspa approved about to compete not sure what I'm doing?
Yes
Brandon Campbell Diamond thank you so much. Does it matter 20 in or 38?
Albert Tapia either are fine. As long as they don’t exceed 36
Thank you so much. You have definitely given me so much knowledge in my journey. Hope all is well
are these the same as the slingshot wrist wraps?
+Julian Martinez No these are different.
Great video Brandon, you can use it for a lot of things.
Thanks man!
I ordered a pair and it is not leather!? To me the red gangster strip is leather on the outside? Also mine has two Velcro strips instead of one long one?
+Kevin Zapata You likely got a newer model.
Is it $40 per each wrist wrap? Apparently rehband has been tricking people using that catch. Not srs
Hahah I actually should've made that joke, damn it!
I thought you were going to !
I kinda wish they made shorter wraps... but i might just buy em :)
I know Titan makes 12" wraps that are solid.
Purchased cause of the review and subbed because of the piece of hair on top of the left wrap. 2 for 2 on the day, good work.
When HD cameras go bad.
I've had these wraps for awhile and have noticed they started getting smelly. Have you had this problem? If so what have you done to stop this.
Mine smell fine after a year's use.
Do you know the difference between these and the multi-purpose wraps?
I believe the Gangsta wraps are 36" where as the multi purpose come in 26" of 42"
Damn i so need these! Its a shame they dont ship to the UK :/
Anyone know where i can get hold of a pair???
I think you can get them through amazon as well.
Brandon Campbell not available on the uk amazon. found a link in one of your vids to the US amazon store but still doesnt deliver to UK
Skippa G they do ship to the uk, www.improveyourbench.co.uk/
Does anyone know when they'll be back k in stock?
not sure
good review, i think the grizzly power wrist wraps are cheap and really solid. check it out
Mine fell apart fairly quickly!
Are these better than mark bells multi purpose wrap?
I haven't used those
I should be getting these bad boys on monday. I'm stoked!
do you think its worth 65$?!?! because shipping to canada...
Depends on how you look at it. You could buy cheaper wraps, but they likely wont' last you as long as these.
after watching this about 7 times I finally bought a pair. I was sold after a 430 squat nearly broke my wrist
Hope you like em!
So these probably wouldn't be good for the olympic lifts though. Am i correct?
I don't do olympic lifting, but that being said, I wouldn't think they would be. The problem in my mind would be that if you're trying to clean the weight up, you'd ideally want a bit of mobility in the wrist.
Thanks Brandon. Just trying to figure out a way to save my wrists a little while doing some oly lifting.
Great Review!
Thanks Victor!
What's a good quality knee wrap to get?
Mark's company also makes knee wraps that I've heard are quite nice. I've never really used knee wraps though, so I'm not the best person to ask.
Great review B!!
Had to make sure I lived up to yours!
Sbd stiffed wrist wraps or gangsta wrist wraps?
It depends on what you prefer. Personally I like the stretchyness of the gangstas, however I know many people who prefer the stiffer wrap.
Were your wrists stronger after using these wraps than they were before you started?
I'd say they're the same.
Ok. Thanks.
Just wondering if you have washed your wraps? If so, how?
Haven't. Don't see a need to really.
Nice review
Thanks man!
is it tight enough on your legs? i would want to buy this...lmk please
They can be used if needed, but they're not the same as real knee wraps IMO
Thanks Brandon, for a top review, have be looking for some decent multipurpose wrist straps... Also top man on your p-best 545 raw squat.. Hard core you know the score.. Peace
Thanks David!
I notice when using them for squats it feels as if I just can't get my wrist in a good enough position because the wrap is so stiff. But on my inzer's just feels more natural. Anyone else get this problem on squats?
However on bench, its rock solid and no movement in the wrist which is exactly what I want
did you know this website (www.lift.net/store/accessories/29-gangsta-wraps-by-mark-bell.html) is using your review to sell this product?
Yeah, I actually bought it from here and told them they could use it!
