I stopped Royal Mail after several people had similar saying I hadn’t paid for the weight stated. One of them was a t shirt which weighted next to nothing and they asked for £3.20 delivery on top of £3.20 I had already paid for a t shirt! And you’re right they come in 3s!
I did for years but last 6 months have been awful for buyers getting fee to pay cards the lost parcel and wheedling out of compensation even though parcel was scanned at two points internally was last straw for me.
Royal Mail is devious. I sent an item through the post, tracked, and 8 days have passed. The buyer gets in touch, and where's my item. Put the tracking number in, item not yet delivered, and mysteriously no tracking info. As if the item just vanished into thin air. Contacted RM. What a pain in the arse. They put you through the hoops, which is typical for a part owned government business that's being slowly privatised. Gave them the receipt and eBay proof with PayPal, and they still refused. They are absolute shits. You have receipts and a tracking number. What is the point of these two things existing when both cancel each other out! and RM refused proof. Fuck the lot of em. Scam artists.
Exactly, my tracking number shows it scanned at two points in the journey, yet they claim thats not proof it was posted. I thought that foreign billionaire recently purchased Royal Mail for something silly like a quid and took on the debts. I can't get my head around these companies having huge debts (Thames Water for one) yet have paid out dividends to shareholders of multi millions each year, the world is mad.
@darrenthelegendhubbard Yep. Plus, Royal Mail has signed on the dotted line with the very company that caused all the problems with the Subpostmasters, Fujitsu for another 10 yrs, because the state can't find another system to do transactions. Those behind the governmental system have totally screwed over RM so they can turn the business into another private delivery company like Hermes, DPD, etc... where you will never have any redress. This country is being run into the ground deliberately.
I accepted it before as just one of those things, but the missing parcel is tracked in their system so far (yet I have to upload proof of posting, their scanning at two points isn't proof enough) and the keyboard which I know is undersized and underweight for the postage I paid was the last straw. I wouldn't use Yodel, have enough problems with them with things I have bought.
I did buy the postage through Ebay, I have read a few forums now, seems to be a regular issue with Royal Mail, that aside, it's the "we say there's a fee to pay" without actually giving a reason why and finding the Holy Grail would be simpler than Royal Mails complaints process. Stopped using them, they are already losing money, they can lose some more now 😁
Sending out things like postcards etc with signed for delivery they're not even getting a signature just putting them through the letter box with no signature obtained..isn't that fraud ..selling a service that's not properly provided 😮
this seems to be an issue with argos drop off points because I had exact same thing happen to me but I got the full sale price claimed + my item made its way back so win win.
Yeah mine get delivered here between 1pm and 2.30pm, pain in the backside if you want to go out, and they just leave a card saying they will automatically deliver next working day, you can't actually pick it up from sorting office now.
@@darrenthelegendhubbard I just sent a 170£ game by special delivery guanteed 1pm yday, it hasn't arrived yet and your video is making me shit my pants now!
Ive had this twice i paid the buyer the extra £3 and both times the parcel was right but i only have royal mail or evri and ive seen how they throw the parcels in the trucks
The keyboard was the last straw for me cos I knew it was well within the limits, at least Evri actually deliver the parcel and chase the sender for payment.
Got 1 in the system, made a claim, please provide pop, yet it states its in the system, didn't get required info on claim, after a phone call, resent, still waiting as don't have original receipt only value of sale on ebay. My theory is I paid postage , dropped off, in the system, they did not deliver (lost) , I have to prove everything. 95% stopped using RM , become a joke like the country
i had been waiting almost 3 months for a document that needs a signature i had contacted the company that was sending it 5 times in that period because i hadn't got i did on the 5th time on a Saturday i sighed and sent trak24 sign on delivery on Monday at 17.24 it got to brum at 20.50 it then went to jubilee MC Tuesday morning at 03.51 and hasn't left there its been a week now and im out of pocket £5,20 and have to get the company to try and send another document for me to sign
I do get one but don't keep them for weeks as online tracking shows them all in the system, thought that was the whole point of the tracking system, you don't get a proof of posting when the postman collects them, he just scans them, which then they will accept a digital copy (like what I uploaded to them for the claim) as proof. Tracking shows it scanned at two points in their system, so it was posted and collected but they are saying that's not proof it was posted. They must be scanning thin air then 😆
To be fair, they accepted the same proof on a claim on a previous lower priced item for the parcel to be magically delivered the next day after 3 weeks in the postal system. The missing parcel this time is £50 plus post so the incentive for them to not pay out is greater. Nowt I can do about it now except change my carrier and learn the lesson.
@@darrenthelegendhubbard This is true and has happened to me any claim that is £20 and under seems to get accepted no questions asked but I have had one over £50 that was meant to be signed for go missing and just never got a reply from Royal Mail.

To be fair I didn't have a problem with them until after reading a foreign billionaire had bought them, it was soon after that the problems started. Just googled it and it was May this year the Czech billionaire bought it.
All the companies are doing this. Parcelforce. RM , yodel. Evri .all terrible and eBay useless. One of the reasons l think reselling is dead unless you sell an awful lot and can stand 5 to 6 % losses
Thing is claiming through Evri is easier, when you claim from Royal Mail you can't copy and paste the details across, you have to manually type everything in, they do everything to put you off claiming, then look for anything to get out of paying. I will give Evri a chance.
I stopped Royal Mail after several people had similar saying I hadn’t paid for the weight stated.

@Amznic yep I have stopped using them now, I know the keyboard was less than a kilo and I paid for 2kg small parcel so I knew it was a scam.
I’ve used Royal Mail for years and only ever had a few issues. There prices are going up again soon though so am going to look around I think!
I did for years but last 6 months have been awful for buyers getting fee to pay cards the lost parcel and wheedling out of compensation even though parcel was scanned at two points internally was last straw for me.
Absolutely bollocks that they ask for proof of postage when the tracking proves they’ve had it. Cop out system so they can get out of doing anything.
I know, the tracking shows they scanned it at least twice, what did they scan then, thin air? lol

this is one of the reason i stop selling on ebay, even if the buyer recieves it but rm says delayed. it also happens to evri, yodel

Ive had a few now exactly same, not enough postage paid, I’m same as you always weight and check size , it does seem to come in a block - nightmare
Yep, seems from the comments it's a frequent thing.
I had one other day fee to pay and I paid it but it’s still stuck in Chester mail centre hasn’t moved for 2 weeks
It seems to be rife with Royal Mail
Evri is KING :)
Yep sending them all Evri now
They are just as bloody dodgy, stopped using them after they lost half a dozen of my parcels.
Better off buying the postage off E-Bay. It is a lot less than Royal Mail and once bought, the postage is normaly not contested.
