The theme they used here is my favourite part of the main DT theme, and I’m so happy they actually used it here! Even if I was hoping it would be part of the main boss theme
I'm a rock person, but I can get down with the Spanish rhythm of this battle theme. Its a nice combination of instruments, my buddy from New Mexico will definitely appreciate this music
This sounds sooo good. Wish i could say the same for the boss/final boss battles. Those were a HUGE letdown. I never expected them to come close to shadowbringers/endwalker but they werent even on par with post patch heavensward or stormblood. Ill take most of the original boss themes over dawntrails even though im sick of hearing them. At least ill have this sick track playing while im grinding blue mage.
I wish they'd include a way to have the same battle music playing in all open world areas of the game, because I'd want this playing all the time if I have to fight something in a previous zone!!!
I see they learned their lesson about having the best part of the music start immediately, since all field fights don't last more than 10-15 seconds. Pity the Shadowbringers combat theme had to walk, so this one could run.
Sadly, to me at least, the mini boss/final boss ost is no where near as good as this. The field theme's motif is a gold mine, it should've been used for more battle themes.
This is such a waste for field battle music, especially in a game that discourages grinding against open world mobs. It should have been the mid boss theme.
Theres plenty of instances where you'll be hearing this. Farming for crafting/relic materials probably, farming for fates, daily/weekly hunts, treasure maps, overworld blue mage grinding, quests/beast tribes. Not really sure what you mean by "discourages" lol
Wish this was the midboss music, I dont like regular battle music at all in FFXIV. it in my opinion is a super waste of time and resources of the sound team. You never get a chance to listen to the regular battle themes.
This seems to be a conscious decision by the composers when it comes to these sorts of theme songs, if you remember Shadowbringers, the battle theme was the same way with the odd scratches on the fret slides and the overall mixing
@@DioDineronow that you said it that's true. With this one especially the drums sounds almost a raw recording or mayby some mixing on the whole drum buss, but not in individual tracks. Mayby it sounds better in game with all fx etc.

Emdwalker had great battle music, now dawntrail has this amazing flamenco style music! Absolutely love it!
Yay I was really hoping this would be the default battle theme, I really like it.
Even the battle music is a freaking party, and that Sabotender is dancing to it lol

there's a Sabotender (cactuar) in nearly every expansion, so you certainly won't be lacking before Dawntrail lol
I've never turned off field battle music, and it seems like that will continue with this expansion. Soken never misses

Nice! I enjoyed Endwalkers classic FF battle theme, but this is also very cool fits the overall theme of the expansion

I like the song, but mixing in this song sounds terrible. Especially reverbs are all over the place. I hope this isn't the final mix.
