Even with this starting advantage, most japanese dubs of originally english content fail to deliver the same quality of experience. So, general rule of thumb, always consume the content with its intended voice-overs.

For me the message that I learned from Thors words and actions is that even when resorting to violence out of obligation you must only resort to the necessary amount and more importantly you must not see your opponent as an enemy, when he was forced to fight Askeladd's crew he did not harbour any hatered towards them, it doesn' t require much effort or sacrifice just don't hate anybody or at least don't act on that hatred, it could have spared us wars and conflicts caused by centuries of bitterness of some ancient conflict, even after peace treaties are signed and decades pass people from different sides still hate one another.
