asm prices are going up a lot now people leaving coparts to join them ive brought loads off them over the years i can.t understand some of the prices the fiats are going for on coparts far to much for 10-11-12 regs hope see your car you won soon 👍👍
ASM were cheap during covid and now they are creeping up and I've not won anything from them in ages. Their reserves are very high aswell. I totally agree that copart are losing customers to asm, that's definitely pushing up prices.
And when you look on Autotrader or EBay there are loads of cat repaired Fiat 500's for sale. I would have thought that salvage cars would have started to go down in price by now, but they still seem to be holding their prices
I guess people are trying to make extra money since bills are going through the roof. Working on salavge cars is a way of trying to get that extra cash?
@@carsalvage101 Not really. Its just a hobby these days for me. I only do 2 or 3 a year so can wait till the price is right I have chased a couple at Wolverhampton in the past but Chester is local. I have a friend in Kent that could help out if needed but it would have to be a real deal .
Everyone looking for a a quip flip and profit so competition is emmece. so making money you only get out the amount work that one puts in.also a lot of the cars with minermal damaged are bidders buying to keep for themselves trying to out bid them is impossible if you're in it to make a profit.
Haven’t wasted our time at all, really enjoyed the footage of the auction
Phew,I did alot of triming for the ASM auction.

Not surprised that Silverlake went on for so long bidding £10 at a time. Do you have to pay to join?
Asm still has a membership cost but fees are alot lower. Prices for cars used to be very good but I feel they have gone up abit.
Prices at Chester seem strong on the Fiat 500 cars. I been looking at them for a while but they do fetch strong money.
Chester do seem to run high on prices. They certainly seem cheaper down south. Would you look at ones down here?

Getting a bargain with not much work to be done is difficult these days. You seem incredibly busy so it makes sense.
Possible private entry at copart with mechanical issues such as head gasket see how you get on bud
Let’s hope not. I try and avoid ones without the sticker. If I can’t see an X or a P at the end I move on.
Exactly what I look out for good luck 🙏
@@Love500 copart getting wise to it and started to not put letters at the end of lot numbers now and again
@@bigbhp6808 I can’t say I’ve seen that except for ones that have no sticker in window.
@@Love500 X marks the spot if it aint there I swerve them too . My first Fiesta was a P long before I knew what the letters meant.

This is true. I'm hoping that this is a quick flip and that little work needs to be done but can get a little prodit out of it.
