Wonderful life in Positano. I would never want to change anything. A dream husband, daughter, friends, pets, home, garden, and even dents from ice storms. So much to be thankful for. 😊👋🏼
Hi, I'm Carlo, thank you, yes we are undoubtedly proud, and yes it's true Skye is beautiful and confident, but it's not just that, she showed us how strong she is, and she will still do it!
totally understand. my dad passed 2 years ago and we used to cook italian all the time and he tried to teach me the recipes from his village. sadly i can't remember anything after his passing.. my best to you
My Mother RIP from Italy/Father RIP Military/spent a lot of my growing up in Italy! Your show takes me back to many wonderful places/memories! Thank you!
Hello . I appreciate you showing us all aspects of your life , even the unpleasant and difficult ones . As this truely is LIFE ! NO doubt You are very hardworking people , and deserve the happy and pleasant times you often share . You All are so amazing , down to earth and wonderful ! Sending admiration and Love ! From Florida . 😘
Luca is the best brother in law.😂💕. I love watching you guys harvest and get things ready to store. Thank you Sky and DAd for the tip on cooking spaghetti.
I wasn’t having a great day, I started watching your video, and then I realized I had a smile on my face!! Thank you for turning around a not so nice day into a day I can face with a smile. Amazing! Thank you!
I look forward to seeing your weekly updates--how can normal every-day things be so interesting? It's because Nikki, Carlo, Skye and Holly make it so! =)
Stuffed peppers sounds good. I just bought 2 peppers for $3.98, one red and one yellow. I think I will stuff mine with eggplant, capers, tomatoes, onions, basil and brown rice. If only I had a way to grow peppers on my small balcony! Glad you found your package. Good explanation Carlo of his trimming the lemon tree. Lol! Cobweb on Carlo’s forehead! I am a grandchild of 4 Sicilian grandparents from the late1980’s to early 1900’s. My heart is there. The culture, the food. I wish I could go for 6 months or more. 👍 Love when a man cooks. I never really hear Skye speak Italian. I did in this video, I love her Italian accent. Thanks ALL for sharing! 👍🇮🇹😘
Everything You do Nicki and Carlo is spectacular, you both bigger than rock stars, face it everyone just waits for your videos, your videos brighten the whole world!
Thank you for the last eighteen months of Italian sunshine and winter escape. We so look forward to your weekly blog, we also have visited Italy many times and miss the food, wine and culture. Please, please keep the chicken coup going. John and Anne
“Not my dog “ is hysterical. His energy! He’s a minx. But holly older and wiser will put him in his place. All good harmless fun . Love watching the interaction. Love from Scotland.
Love your new Birkenstock shoes! I would never have imagined that shipping and postal services would be so challenging in Italy. It must be very frustrating. Our garden has just finished. We got more green peppers than red ones this year. If I buy red peppers at my grocery store they are quite expensive at $1.49/each. Quite nice that you have an abundance of them. Your Skye is so beautiful! She is definitely Daddy's girl. Love to see them cooking together.
You showed us so much great stuff! I think I could/should put up some tomatoes after watching this! Love the pan for your head!! Lol! The stuffed peppers looked so good! I've never seen walnuts with spaghetti. Hmmm. I love the pumpkin wall! So ingenious! Thank you for sharing!!
I love everyone of your videos. Beautiful scenery, delicious food recipes, garden picking the vegetables, and step walking daily 🤪 You are blessed Niki, Carlo, and Sky. From New Mexico, USA
The footage of the storm and hail was quite dramatic. I really enjoy watching and listening to your canning and cooking segments with Carlo, Luca and Skye! 👍
@Tofog22000 me too! I never get tired of watching Nicki and Luca put up their tomatoes. This episode was particularly entertaining watching Luca's not-a-puppy-anymore leaping and playing in the background!
Colorado hail ! Can easily be tennis ball size. Garden killers. We have been lucky this year. Usually by now that type of weather has passed. Now we have snow in September to look forward to. It can happen. Thank you ! Great tomatoes ! Delicious looking spaghetti too. Nice ending. Coming to Italy for two weeks this Saturday !!! I am glad it is cooling off. Piedmont, Tuscany, Umbria and Marche. I will wear my ‘Hello Everywhere” t shirt. I have all winter to get on your good side so I can get invited to lunch for when I visit again next spring. You make my Sunday a day to look forward to. Thank you !
I just came back from my holiday in Positano, and your videos were really helpful. I follow your videos weekly and are very much appreciated in our family, they're always bringing a good vibe.
Hi, I'm Carlo, thank you, what a pity we didn't meet (or maybe yes?), Unfortunately we don't have any news about Antonino, if there are any we will let you know.
God I love this channel! Its so wholesome. I discovered you a few weeks ago when I was sick at home and I bingewatched almost all your video's. I hope to visit Positano one day. Thank you for the amazing video's 👏 ❤
Pasta with Anchovies ….yum one of my favorites that my Nonu would make … aw the sweet memories! No one likes anchovies in my family . Good job Skye keep cooking 🍳 🥰🤗🍋
Yes for sure that hail hurts, as I got caught getting into my car in a down storm of it!!! I will never forget that. Good to know about not putting salt in with the tomatoes while sealing, never knew that before. Carlo’s recipe looked so good as well. UPS, would not want to be ya. Thank you Nicki, for another day in the life in beautiful Positano ❤️
We had some hail here this summer in Arizona, just crazy all the storms we had this summer here in the desert. looks like Spring here from all the rain and there are yellow butterflies everywhere. Carlo's lunch looks so good. Thanks for sharing another beautiful week with us all.
Loved your cooking segment. I haven’t tried that one yet with the anchovies and walnuts. At last we are coming to Sorrento for two weeks holiday after Italy dropped its demands for a five day quarantine. Cant wait to sample good Italian cooking again while we are there. We may take the boat from Sorrento to Positano as a day trip. Thanks for sharing your lives with us all!
BUONGIORNO!!!...From Chicago. Just woke, got my coffee and watching another lovely vlog from Nicki & Carlo. Loving! your toe nail polish Nicki. Glad the hail storm didn't damage your property too much. When it happens here, my hubby and I act like little kids and run out to grab some hail and eat them LOL! I think he got one on his head once OUCH!...Thank you! as always for sharing life in Positano with your viewers.
Ciao Tutti 🤗. Nicki wonderful to see you did get your package from UPS. Hey Carlo that is awesome that you have a way of pressing a buzzer to the gate of the home! Nice to see Skye and the meal that was cooked. TY. Till next Sunday. Love that Hollie.
What a lovely video! You're off again with the tomatoes! I love your cooking vlogs and it was so lovely to see more of Skye again. Those hailstones were monsters. Thanks for sharing it all Nicki.
There’s something really peaceful about watching your every day life, and as everyone has said the Father and daughter segment was delightful to see. Love, love, love it as always
Bellisimo as always Nicki, the highlight of the week, I've watched everything you have done and am now wading through all LEAW Sara & Luca also gorgeous people. One teeny disappointment, you still haven't told us what Luca does for a living as promised ages ago :-)
I am sorry about the hail storm. I hope you didn't have much damage to your plants. One year, we had a massive hail storm at the end of April, and it ruined most of my spring/summer garden. I loved the cooking segment with Skye and Carlo. I am going to have to make that Dish. Looks delicious!
I was watching the movie UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN 🌝🌝🌝 the other day, then they show a town in Italy and I said that looks like POSITANO, then Marcelo, a character from the movie says it is POSITANO. I am able to recognize your city from watching your channel. LOVE LOVE ❤❤❤❤ your channels and all of you guys. Greetings from California. 😘😘😘
The hailstones remind me of what happened here in Singapore 🇸🇬 in 2013. As most ppl know, we are two degrees away from the Equator, so it is either hot or raining (or both!) here; we don't have four seasons. One day, we heard loud thumps on the roof of our low rise office building. My Scottish co-worker, who was heartily sick of the sun, ran out of the building. He came back sighing in disappontment, saying, No snow, only (bloody) hailstones. 😆
Today's episode seems extra special for us....because we have booked 6 nights in Arienza May 2022! So excited to see all these! Fingers crossed! So so love your videos Nicki and Carlo!
@@cusigram haha same here, and now I have to start doing some research, look at her old videos (gladly) and see places along positano/amalfi where they would have eaten or gotten ice cream or pastries etc, because nothing like what locals already know as good places to go. Fingers crossed no issues flying there by that time, don't really know what status the pandemic will be by that time, although now I see US Canada Japan and Israel can fly there without quarantining as long as they can show proof of full vaccination of specific vaccines (4 brands I think, Pfizer being one of them). Good luck to you and your daughters, that sounds exciting, all girls! I will be with my hubby and 15 yr old son, will be fun too, they are my travel buddies :)
The helmet🤣🤣🤣 The peppers looks so yummy😋 The new sandals are cute, I like them👍🏾 Not my puppy is so big now😊 Luca is amazing with growing the food, thank you for showing the process again❤ I want some Carlo and Skye, look soooo good😊 I wish I could visit and have meal😁
Good afternoon, the skies are pretty crazy these days 4:00 in the morning - that's unprecedented , I would imagine. On July 8th of 2020 , in Calgary Alberta, Canada there was the most costly hail storm ever. The 4th costliest natural disaster in Canada. It was a $1.2 B price tag. Vehicle windshields were smashed, hoods were severely bashed. Siding was stripped on houses. ( much is stick-built in Alberta,& covered with vinyl siding).I'm very thankful that you're beautiful garden is nearly vertical, not flat and wide. Those peppers look beautiful. Thank you, thank you thank you Carlo! You have altered my cookie making. To break up walnuts in that fashion is genius! Does that mean every time I have cookies w/ walnuts ,in the winter time for tea I will think of you? Maybe.(apple spice cookies are my favorite. Now that Nikki has that dehydrator, have you ever dehydrated seedless grapes? Here's the recipe-1/2 c. Butter, 1&1/2 c. Brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/4 c. Milk, 2& 1/4c. Flour, 1 tsp. Baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. Cinnamon, 1/2 ground Cloves, 1& 1/2 tsp. ground Nutmeg,1c. Raisins (in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to boil ,to soften & quickly drain . Add to dough.) 1 large apple 🍏 chopped, peeled if skin is too thick.****and lastly, 1 c. Carlo's Broken walnuts.!!!*** Bake @ 350° f until lightly browned 10 -15 minutes.
I really like the pumpkin wall idea! Very pretty! Sorry about the hail. What a mess. The Bell Peppers are gorgeous!! The stuffings look yummy.Terrific video! Love from Vermont
Wow - Wow ... From Southern California I love you All from my heart and from my Soul! Please know how much your fantastic videos bring normalcy to our days! I discovered Italy through Frances Mayes following her journey renovating Bramasole. Nicki and Carlo please know how bringing us to Italy and Positano with these magnificent shared vistas and your wonderful stories of your everyday life serves to keep Italy and your life there reminding us all of what really is most important in our world and daily life. Please keep your stories coming. -- some days I stop and say to myself -- let's go to Positano and see what Carlo, Nicki and Skye are doing today!
Gosh, they were like rocks Nicki. I hope the car gets suckered out ok. Great to see how you do the bottling of plum tomatoes. I would love to do that. The harvest here in the UK has been pathetic this year, nothing like last year. Great recipe Carlo and your daughter cooked together. Funny seeing Red Lester from your freezer. Keep safe and well all of you , looking forward to your next video. We adore them Thank you :)))
I was born and raised in Croatia and migrated to Australia with my family when I was 13. I often get nostalgic for Europe but then I remember how bad customer service is there in comparison to this part of the world….you’ve just reminded me again regarding the postal service….for all the beauty of Italy, I think I would find it frustrating living there….I still love the look of your life though…..and the spaghetti that Carlo made looked awesome!!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Oh my goodness! I want to be a pumpkin right now, sit on my own shelf and have that view! Thank you for sharing. Your videos always put a smile on my face😊
Aloha Guys, Nicki, I loved ur cute yellow 2 piece with shorts outfit! Carlo & Skye, the 2 of u were so cute cooking & eating together! Aloha nui to u all!
Great video! It's so generous of you to host Patrons for lunch! The stuffed peppers look delicious! Thank you, as always, for sharing your life with us.
YAY! Thank you! Another wonderful video! Waking up to watch is one of our favorite things we do on Sundays, here in Mountain Center, CA! Closing with Carlo feeding us pasta and you having found your package made us cheer! Could hardly believe the size of the hail! Huge hugs for the whole fam! ❤️❤️❤️
That pasta looked so good👌 loved the stuffed peppers also. You could write recipes on insta as well... I have just watched your video in my garden in Macclesfield... The sun is out but I still yearn to be in Positano. Another fabulous relaxing thing to watch. The post sounds dire but everything else about living there will make up for it I'm sure❤️❤️❤️
Hello! I so enjoy your videos! I haven't been back to Italy since 2017 and so your videos give me the "Italy Fix" that I so need! Thank you for all your hard work on bringing us these uplifting and interesting snippets of your lives in Positano! Bravi! 👏
I love all the bits and pieces of your video. Thunder, lightning, hail. I wish we had some rain. 😕 Not getting my packages would infuriate me also. Stuffed peppers, canning tomatoes and Luca and Skye cooking together. Take care and be safe. Ciao👩🌾
I remember living on a street in Islington London, with my postbox right in the front door and on a main road....we used to miss post all the time. I now live semi rural in New Zealand and I get all my post!
I Love you beautiful video on Sunday as always you all Garden is so beautiful 😍 and you have a beautiful family. Thank you so much for sharing such beauty from another part of the World 🌎 ❤
We want to say, "Send some peppers to us🙂, but just don't think they'll survive the transatlantic flight✈️." We have the same problems with UPS in the states. Great video. Love, Bonnie and David. East Coast USA
Thank you to Carlo and Sky for the delicious spaghetti with walnuts and anchovies recipe.I cooked it for dinner and it was a big hit. Lovely father and daughter segment. Love your show. I look forward to it every week.
I really loved this video you even make finding your post look like fun ! Carlo and Skye cooking together was a special treat, can’t wait to try making this dish myself. Thank you so much for sharing I look forward to your videos every week. Your yellow short set is adorable 😊
I watched another RUclipsr and she took the fig leafs and dried them to make tea.... Never tried it but she liked it. She loves to get the most yield out of vegetables and fruit. Have a great day....
Thank you Nicki and Carlo for another video 🥰 love these so much!! I talk about it with my husband how i adore seeing the life u guys have. its so different, yet thats what makes it fun to watch. we visited italy for the first time this summer (northern italy), hopefully we can visit amalfi coast next summer :)
Hi, Nicki! Sorry to be so late to this party, but I've got another idea for your peppers! I like to chop and freeze a lot of them, but you can dry them and pulse them into paprika if you have a small blender that is really strong and can turn things into powder! Just a thought! Baci a tutti!
I look forward to your videos, so interesting to watch. You and Luca are such pros skinning those tomatoes so quickly. I also loved the background music that you chose. We had a hail storm here in Charlotte North Carolina some years back and everybody’s cars got dinged. The body shops had a waiting list to repair everybody’s cars 😳 You do an excellent job with these videos. I wish we could grow red peppers like that here, for some reason we are just getting green peppers, but they do turn red the longer they stay on the stem. We did however harvest yellow tomatoes this year, they were delicious.
Wow those hailstones run for cover amazing there is a dent remover specialist 🥰So frustrating for you Nicki the mail service but the sandles very nice and with those nails😍Love your stuffed peppers the tomato bottling the summer garden abundant so self sufficient inspiring lifestyle and to see Skye and Carlo cooking lunch together just precious Bellissimo ciao ciao bella till next time everywhere evermore left smiling😍😍😘😘❤️❤️👌👌
Wow, did those giant hailstones damage anything, hurt anyone? Glad there is an easy way to fix the indentations on your car. Red peppers are among God's greatest gifts. Stuffed peppers are a hearty meal. "Wild Strawberries" that are not in an Ingmar Bergman movie! We are given to believe that Vatican City uses the Swiss postal system for their snail mail. I'll be excited to go through the winter garden with you as the season approaches. It makes sense to wait to use seasonings and spices in the tomatoes until you open them to use in preparation of a specific dish with its very own recipe and flavoring requirements. Ah, Skye and Carlo: spaghetti, anchovies, walnuts, olive oil, and garlic - what's not to love! Thanks for showing us the processing of the tomatoes before jarring them for use over the winter.
My daughter was in Italy last month. Everything you said about the mail is true. She sent me my birthday gift and she said it is not easy to mail something in Italy. But, it did arrive quickly and in good order.
Wonderful life in Positano. I would never want to change anything. A dream husband, daughter, friends, pets, home, garden, and even dents from ice storms. So much to be thankful for. 😊👋🏼
Skye is such a confident, beautiful girl! You must be so proud of her.
She is adorable and very confident.
Hi, I'm Carlo, thank you, yes we are undoubtedly proud, and yes it's true Skye is beautiful and confident, but it's not just that, she showed us how strong she is, and she will still do it!
Is it only me who think that skye is look like scarlett johansson? So gorgeous ❤️
I loved the father/daughter cooking segment at the end. Made me really miss my dad who passed this year.
Also happy your car didn't get too battered!
that was special and I enjoyed it immensely.
that look so good will have to try making it
sorry to hear you lost your father this year - my passed in '88 and I still miss him. Thank goodness their windshields did not get damaged.
totally understand. my dad passed 2 years ago and we used to cook italian all the time and he tried to teach me the recipes from his village. sadly i can't remember anything after his passing.. my best to you
my thoughts goes to you and your loved ones. I hope that segment brought you some comfort
I love hearing Skye speak, she has the English and Italian mixed accent.

Another enjoyable video, like watching father and daughter cooking in the end.🤗
Hope all is well with you there. I was raised in San Diego and all my family is in California. Now living in Lexington Kentucky, Take Care!
Your life is so different from mine, here at the bottom of NZ. I love your garden and family . Thank you. Kia kaha. ( stay strong)
Oh my goodness! I want to be a pumpkin right now, sit on my own shelf and have that view! Thank you for sharing. Your videos always put a smile on my face😊

Love all…..your videos!! ❤️ Carlo and Skyes cooking segment at the end 🙌🙌👌🏼👌🏼❤️❤️
Love watching everyone working on the garden😊 Your family has the process down. Thanks for sharing
As always a brilliant film.
The spaghetti and anchovies that Carlos made looks so simple, the final product seemed tasty. I plan to try this at home tomorrow.
Me too .
Hi, I'm Carlo, thank you, well, if you like cooking, and you like pasta, anchovies, and walnuts, then you have to try it !!
@@NickiPositano Your anchovies looked REALLY plump and delicious. What brand do you guys use?
I wonder if Carlo put pasta water in the pan or the sauce is just with olive oil, garlic, anchovies and walnuts ?
YAY!
Thank you so much for sharing such beauty from another part of the World 🌎 ❤
As always love what you show us 😊 yes, love the cooking with Carlo & Skye!

She has become my Favourite "vlogger", (over a year now) such a nice distraction and therapy from the rest of what is going on!
Skye and Daddy are the cutest!!! Absolutely loved their little cooking segment! What an elegant yet simple dish. I am going to try it this week.
I really love watching you all work together with preserving the harvest 🍅🫑🌶
We want to say, "Send some peppers to us🙂, but just don't think they'll survive the transatlantic flight✈️." We have the same problems with UPS in the states. Great video. Love, Bonnie and David. East Coast USA
Thank you thank you again for another Sunday special edition stay safe and well
Thank you to Carlo and Sky for the delicious spaghetti with walnuts and anchovies recipe.I cooked it for dinner and it was a big hit. Lovely father and daughter segment. Love your show. I look forward to it every week.
Beautiful! Perfect way to start my Sunday on a long weekend in 🇨🇦 xoxo
Oh, my! Hail plays havoc on a garden!
Wow those are huge hailstones. I love your walkway to your front gate. The pretty plants and patterned paving. Such a beautiful entry to your home.
What a down right pleasant family!
Watching this makes you want to move to Italy 🇮🇹
Hi, Nicki! Sorry to be so late to this party, but I've got another idea for your peppers! I like to chop and freeze a lot of them, but you can dry them and pulse them into paprika if you have a small blender that is really strong and can turn things into powder! Just a thought! Baci a tutti!
The best part of my Sunday! So relaxing and inspiring. I am dying to know Luca’s actual profession. He is just so knowledgeable
Wow what a storm, love the stuffed pepper recipe 😋 xx
Thank You Nicki, Carlo and Holly 🙏✨🌼✌️🌺🥰🌷🍾🌸🌈🌻🐬💐🎷😊🥰🌹🤗🦋❤️🥂🍾🇨🇦
So much happening this week! Enjoyed the cooking, it all looked delicious!!
