Welcome back to my channel and to an exciting video. This one was a bit different but I finally got a Costco card! We had the best time, it's like a day trip out!

Definitely would be worth going to Costco with Iwan and then you could see if there is anything you both like and split the packs and go halves on the price. Then you would have less to store Luke and also save money! Hope you had a great holiday! Much love to you both, Soph

This whole video made me smile! We definitely love our warehouse clubs in the US and this very much reminded me of my first time at one. Please don't judge but I bought a huge can of tortilla chips and a big jar of salsa. Best wishes to you both! xoxo

Isn’t it so much fun? I’d highly recommend the lemon drizzle cake from the bakery and the pizza from the in store cafe is actually some of the best pizza on the planet! I dream about it. SO good.
As a long time Costco member in USA, the Kirkland brand is often a bigger name (same factory) repackaged and almost always a terrific deal. We use it for our bulk basics like Paper products, milk and eggs (pasture raised). We do our party catering via Costco too - when parties return. Their furniture is usually super high quality too.
Kirkland coffee beans are actually Starbucks beans
The Kirkland brand is from where they started in Kirkland, WA/ Issaquah, WA area just outside Seattle, WA, also lad of where Starbucks is from…⭐️🥰⭐️
The Dualit toasters are amazing I’ve had mine for over 10 years and still going strong but you can buy all the spare parts like elements etc and change them so they just keep going. Heather

Used to have a Costco card a few years back and loved it. Once in there I saw Sir John Hall and his wife in the café. He was chairman of Newcastle United and responsible for building the Metro Centre in Gateshead . If Costco is good enough for a millionaire ! it was good enough for me.

I've been to Costco once. Was shocked at the big boxes of chocolates!
I'm only a few minutes in but Zara your hair looks fabulous and that coffee looks lush.
I L❤️VE Starbucks coffee of any variety but over the summer have really been enjoying their iced coffees 😋

Watching you Luke in Costco reminded me of the first time I took my daughter into B&M and told her she had £50 to spend for her Christmas presents.😂 . Wish there was a place like this for people who can’t get a card though😟
Fyi you don’t need to keep honey in the fridge. Honey never goes bad. If your honey crystallizes just warm it up in the microwave
I loved seeing the different items you have verses what we have in the States. Costco is literally less than 5 minutes from my house. One big difference is that we don't have to have a business to get a membership but you have to have the membership to shop. Roughly $120 a year for the membership is steep in price but pays for itself in the price of gas. We get our gas there and it's a huge savings. ❤️❤️
Costco is from Seattle, Kirkland is their brand. The pesto is great, we freeze it in smaller containers and defrost as needed!

Your very funny at Costco. When the Holidays roll around you'll go crazy. When all my kids lived at home Costco was a must for shopping here in the states. Now it's more about parties and the Holidays. But I still like to look. Have a great day.

Hi Luke & Zara! I didn't know you had to be part of a company to apply for membership at Costco over there. Here in America anyone can apply to Costco whether you have a business or not. Most folks mainly go to buy food items in bulk for their families & yes the value is great compared to the price you'd pay at regular grocery stores. Aren't their baked goods amazing? We usually get the muffin packs, which have blueberry, chocolate w/chocolate chips, and banana nut muffins in them. So yummy warmed w/ a bit of butter! Can't wait to see your future Costco shopping trips now & for sure Mr. C will love it as well. Thanks for taking us along as always. Much love from Fort Worth, TX! 😊🍁🌻
Over here Ivy you have to work or be retired from certain professions. I had membership as a self employed childminder. But can reapply as I’m in receipt of a Civil Service pension. I go as a guest with my friend.
I have had a card for years and I am not a member of a business you just have to be working and show your driving license or any other identification I have had my card for years

Having been a costco member for over a year now I can't wait to see what you think of christmas stuff when it in. They have some brilliant gift ideas and christmas decorations I bought the big village last year and it is great.

LOL! You found the place with all sorts of stuff you didn't know you needed (and probably don't) along with things you do need but not quite in such quantity. I have friends who go every six months if that tells you anything. Love the sauce collection! We wouldn't see that in the USA. Enjoy the fun!

Each one is a little bit different based upon what is popular in that area.
Costco sells higher quality merchandise so the prices aren't as low as some people expect at first.
Many times a house brand is of the lowest quality. Costco went the other way with their Kirkland Signature brand. It is always of the highest quality.
Many things are packaged for smaller businesses to resell the merchandise in their own stores.
The items in the bakery are made without preservatives. They spoil quickly if you don't freeze them. The dozen muffins sells for 8.99. The local doughnut shop sells them for 3.49 each!
They make 80% of their profit from membership fees. Everything that Costco does is to encourage you to renew each year. Over ninety percent of their members do renew. In America members that have the 2% refund card and the credit card renew at a rate of close to 99% each year.

You missed a trick not going to the cafe. It’s so cheap and you can get takeaway pizza . Look out for anything priced with 97p on the end. It’s a final sale price and usually a good deal. They have such lovely things for Christmas too.
I'm poor and single at just $32K/yr. I had a card before but found it useless. Thinking about getting one again and trying to shop very strategically so I don't get too much. One has to be very careful not to get stuck with a ton of stuff you don't want/can't use.

I think the food in Costco is really good, but all the other things don't seem such good value to me once the VAT has been added - quite expensive I think, but it's always nice to go for a look around and any real bargains. Lovely vlog as ever Luke, Zara looks lovely! Happy holidays to you both x

At one time here in Canada you had to be a member of a union to get a membership - luckily I was able to join. That was a very long time ago, and now everyone can join. Haven't watched the complete video, but I'm fairly sure you won't be of been disappointed by the end of the video. PS: You might want to invest in a freezer - a tall upright will take up less space. Costco sells them too.
Always laugh when people buy coffee like you and zara at start because my dad who's 91 .. you take him for coffee and if he looks at them gone out when he given an endless list off coffees ☕ 😄 he's like just out a jar with water and milk thank you😊 ..... .. x anyway food looks amazing there.. imagine you could freeze them I do that.. lovely video luke x

Hello. Canada has a Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato for Autumn. We have the same Danish and Cookies at Costco. Yummy. We also have a take out cafe on the way out. Hot Dogs, Fries, Ice Cream.
We love our Costco here in Arizona. I buy their croissants and freeze them in an IKEA zip top bag. They last in the freezer for months. We buy their cakes, especially the chocolate ones for parties. They are amazing ! You can't go wrong buying there. We also buy their ready made fresh meals often. My son likes their Kirkland brand of vodka, which is just relabeled Grey Goose for 1/2 the price. So many great buys there. So happy you have joined the Costco shoppers of the world ! 😘🍃🍂🍁🍎🍏💗✝

Here in the U.S. anybody can get a membership. Costco just want the membership fee. I do have a Sams membership and I had a small business. With you can go and shop 2 hrs before they open for the public. I don't know whether Costco has that. That would be great for you around Christmas time. Christmas time you are not going to be able to move, it get so crowded. Glad you enjoyed Costco.😊

I've only recently got into makin iced coffees! So many pre made mixes that don't cost the earth and all you need is whatever cold milk you choose and some ice! Durin a spate of illness they've been a godsend!

I feel conflicted by Costco. I do try to buy local and support local shops, but with increasing gas prices we need to find cheaper alternatives.
I am soooo boring when it comes to coffee. I don't like iced and I don't like them with flavours. Just give me an ordinary oat latte and I'm in my happy place. I'd love to partake in the pumpkin ones because Autumn is my FAAAVE time of year....but sadly...nah! 🤣
